Xu Nuan pursed her lips tensely when they got on the Ferris Wheel. Han Zihao suggested riding the Ferris wheel since it is the best part of the amusent park. She didn't mind riding the Ferris wheel since she has ridden the Ferris wheel many tis when she was young but for so reason, she can't help but feel anxious when it started moving.
She looked down at the people who were getting smaller and clasped her hands tightly together in nervousness. She was trying to not show her nervous state and was breathing heavily when she heard his words, " Do you know why I brought you to the amusent park on our first date?" he asked.
"Hm..mm? Why?" She asked hesitantly. Her body trembled slightly when it was slightly reaching the top of its height. She was trying to ignore this feeling but she can't help but rember the ti when she was attached to the harness and was pulled upwards.
At that ti, everyone looked smaller in front of her and for soone like her who loved adventurous sports, looking at everyone from up there was a thrilling experience. However, the best experience of her life beca a traumatic experience for her when she fell from that height, and the pain when her body hit the ground was still a fearful and painful experience for her.
Even though she didn't die and due to so supernatural phenonon, she magically survived and was reborn as Xu Nuan, but that pain and fear were still haunting her.
Han Zihao didn't notice her nervous and hesitant expressions and looked at the bright lights and how everything looked smaller from there. The sky looked closer and the bright-colorful lights of the amusent park looked even beautiful at night.
He let out a sigh and said, " When I was a kid, I never got the chance to visit the amusent park. My parents were either fighting or were busy in their own lives. And after their separation, we beca even more distant with each other, or maybe I distanced myself from them?" he said while wondering why things turned out like this.
" Anyway, I never got the chance to co here. I always wanted to co to the adventure park and ride this Ferris wheel about which children always talked about. That's why I decided to bring you here for our date because I wanted to share my first happy experience with you."
" It might not be the best place for our first place, but I just want you to know that I am not joking when I said that I am trying to be with you. Bringing you here was my first step of sharing my happiness with you," he said while looking at the beautiful view from the height.
He pursed his lips and said while turning to look towards her, " I thought that coming here with you would be a great experi-." His expressions darkened when he saw her pale complexion.
Her eyes were closed and she was breathing heavily while her hands were trembling. His eyes widened as he imdiately went to sit by her side and shook her, " Xu...Nuan, what happened? Do you have fear of heights?" He asked worriedly, seeing her face turning white.
He gritted his teeth when she didn't say anything and groaned while struggling to breathe, " Hello, Is anyone here? Please stop the ride." He shouted seeing her condition but clearly, no one could hear him.
The Ferris wheel also stopped when it reached the top of its height. He gritted his teeth and took her hands in his hand and rubbed them that were icy cold, " Shh...take a deep breath. It will be fine. I am here."
He pursed his lips seeing the tears coming out of her eyes. She had her eyes close but she was trembling as if she was having a nightmare.
" Xu Nuan…" He said in a low voice. It was his first ti to see her in such a vulnerable condition. She has gotten sick many tis and he has been by her side every ti but this ti, it was different. She didn't look sick but was looking like she was being tornted by sothing.
" I..can't breathe. I..it's too high...I don't want to die," she murmured with her eyes closed and panted to breathe. She was trying to not look down but with her eyes closed, she could only see herself being on top and people were looking at her amusingly.
The scene where her mbers and the staff were standing on the ground and looking at her amusingly who was attached to the harness and was hanging in the air. She couldn't help but rember Hao i's expressions when she was up there.
She seems to be smiling at her from the ground, at that ti she thought that she was encouraging her to do well but rembering her smirk now, it was sending goosebumps to her body. How can an innocent girl beco so vile and negative?
Was she always like this? Or it was her who was naive and stupid to be deceived by the people who were dearest to her?
The past dark mories were tornting her when she felt a pair of warm lips landing on hers. She weakly opened her eyes and looked at Han Zihao who held her face between his hands and kissed her with his eyes closed.
" Shh...I am here, I won't let you go through the sa pain again. I won't let you die again." He whispered against her lips making her calm down.
She didn't struggle and held onto the hem of his shirt weakly while he kissed her. This ti, she didn't do anything and sat there weakly, as he consoled her while with his kiss. The kiss was slow and was not passionate instead, it was consoling and it was as if telling her to forget all the negative mories that were tornting her.
She had thought that she had forgotten everything about that life and after exacting her revenge with Qin Ju and Hao i, she was fine. But after riding this Ferris wheel with him, she realized that she has been only fooling herself for being fine.
" Don't you want to see the view from here? Isn't this your first ti riding the Ferris wheel?" She whispered while she was being kissed by him.
He opened his eyes and looked at her face that was now covered with tears. He parted from the kiss and chuckled, " What view? Does that view look more beautiful than the view in front of right now?" He said while staring into her eyes.
" What?" her eyes widened in shock upon hearing such cringey words from him.
"How can you say sothing like this?" She hit him on the chest embarrassedly while her cheeks turned rosy pink upon hearing his cheesy words. This man sure knows how to flirt.
'Player Mr. Han.' She pursed her lips and frowned seeing how easily he can make her heart flutter.
