“Did you make sure to absorb any of their souls?” I asked as I cleaned Alysia off.
“Huh? I thought I was destroying them.” She responded.
“What? I said we needed to capture soone!”
“Isn’t there still the girl?” She asked, sounding a bit irritated.
I looked over at the headless corpse on the ground. “I wasn’t planning on torturing her. You only cut her body, right?”
“Of course! That attack you made was still pretty ruthless though.”
“Hmph… she’s the one who put herself in that situation. Besides, I’m just scaring her a little. It’s not like losing one’s head is fatal in this world.”
“It’s not?”
I reached down and grabbed her head, putting it against her body. “It’s not. Reattach.”
Level 65 of White Mage had turned out to be the spell Reattach. This spell was different from Regrow, which was hopefully a spell I would still get eventually. I had been curious about trying out the spell for a while now. I had no clue if it worked on heads, but it was an excellent ti to find out. There was a glow, and then her head was seamlessly attached to her body once again. I felt her neck and frowned.
“She’s still not breathing.”
“How could she be, you killed her!” Alysia accused.
“She’s not dead. A brain can go for minutes without oxygen.” I explained. “Great Heal!”
I used my strongest healing spell on her. When that was done, she still wasn’t breathing. Did I need to go to that extent? I guess there was no other way. I ripped open her shirt and started chest compressions. Then, I leaned back her head and perford respiration. I had heard they didn’t do that anymore, but I was old school. Besides, I was all but immune to diseases and poisons.

On my third round, while I was thinking I might need to shock her heart back to life, her eyes popped open. It was while I was pushing down on her chest, my hands right between her breasts.
“Wha-” She looked down at her semi-naked state, and then let out a cry. “P-pervert!”

I didn’t even have Pervert equipped. Well played, stupid job.
I cleared my throat. “Are you better now?”
She seed confused for a few monts, but as things ca back to her, she reached for her throat with a gasp. “You killed !”
“Well, technically I just injured you, and then healed it,” I responded. “I didn’t have to resurrect you, so your soul never left your body.”
“You cut off my head! Do you know what that feels like?” She demanded with teary eyes.
“It doesn’t feel great,” I responded, touching my neck.
I had my head cut off once. Elaya had used a ti-reversal spell that had spared the damage, but it was still a traumatic experience in my life.
Rea’s face turned red. “I hate you! You’re the worst! Go die!”
I felt a little guilty. Just as I opened my mouth to apologize, the ship tilted once again as there was another slam. The girls should have had the pirates under wraps by now. Just what was going on? I imdiately asked with Slave Communication.
"Eh? What's happening?" She cried out.
“Shut up!” I covered her mouth so that I could hear the responses with my Slave Communication.
It was Lydia who responded first. “Master, they’re trying to push us into the Abyss!”
