After the paladins mysteriously disappeared, I still had Anne to deal with. Since I didn’t want her asking too many questions about her missing paladins, the only option I could co up with was to pay her off by giving her the church she asked for. It did make sense to open a church in the city, and since they had more or less approved of the presence of my dungeon, possibly even glorifying it in the future, then I had no more complaints.

Anne was supposed to be part of the charge, and thus against anything made from miasma or containing a karmic soul. However, Sapphire had seemingly beco her adopted big sister. She had protected her because of their similarities in a very specific departnt. That sa similarity seed to have transferred over to my daughter, who had beco her little sister now. When considering the age of the three, it made sense, but I still didn’t necessarily like my daughter having any kind of relationship with that perverted loli-lover and her creepy church.

That’s why I ca up with a plan, and while I had so of the girls give Anne a tour of the city, I also sent others to contact a few people. While everything was being set up, I continued to play with my daughter. She was such a smart girl too, although that might be because she had access to all of the lore from all the dungeons we had consud, not the least of all being my lore, connected through my soul world.

Naturally, those loli police had spawned from my mories. When it ca to natural enemies of their type, the first thing to co to my mind were those shows about capturing predators. I was a bit curious where the paladins had ended up, but I decided it was better not to ask questions I wasn’t comfortable knowing the answers to.

“Daddy, I made this for you.” She handed sothing.

“Ahh, isn’t my daughter the sweetest?” I patted her on the head as I looked at the item. “Ah, a knife?”

“Isn’t that a magical knife!” Xin cried out excitedly. “It’s a got a sharp enchantnt, a soul damage enchantnt, and an increased speed enchantnt. This is top-quality loot you could only find in a great labyrinth!”

“Is it so great? Don’t we have the dwarfish weapons being made in the room adjacent to this one?” Elaya asked hesitantly.

After her evolution, the hallways connecting this place to the palace, the mansion, and the dwarf village were reestablished. I even considered putting out paths to Ninetails, Chalm’s Crossing, and Alysium. Connecting all of the cities would make getting around a little easier, especially in a jam. However, the more entrances to the dungeon, the more vulnerable she would beco. I already had people wandering through the front door and making it to the boss room, I was going to need the beef of security.

“You don’t understand, although they are the finest in talworking, that is just the base structure,” Xin explained. “Truly powerful weapons are then enchanted with runes and magic gems to give them extra abilities. Aberis regrettably lacks much knowledge on it and our enchanters are extrely behind. A single enchantnt with a small buff is the best they can do. Only Jespain has the level of knowledge to do truly incredible enchantnts like this dagger.”

My daughter puffed up under the barrage of complints.

“Plus, it can be created nearly instantaneously. This is dwarven steel, but it wasn’t forged at all. Even the forge can produce weapons this quickly.” I added.

Elaya shook her head. “I wouldn’t get excited too fast… this likely would have cost a great deal of miasma to create. Dungeons do create such weapons if they possess the correct lore to do so, but there is a reason they release them agerly. A single blade likely costs the miasma absorbed in a month.”

I looked down at my daughter, who looked back at with tearful eyes. “I just wanted to make daddy happy.”

“Oh, baby, I am happy! We’ll find that miasma replacent sowhere else.”

I hugged her imdiately. How could I reprimand such a cute and loving daughter?

“Daughtercon.”

“Definitely daughtercon.”

“Why do you all keep saying that?”
