The blade slashed through him in a flurry. I struck once, twice, and then a dozen tis, cutting him over and over again. When I was finally finished, I pulled my sword back. His body didn’t have a single piece of damage, but his expression had beco white. He opened his lips, his last words coming out as a whisper.
