Si Mingjing ntioned Mrs. Liang’s illness and family situation. The two n at the dinner table remained indifferent, as if accustod to the sorrows of impoverished families. Only Ye Siyuan said, "Raising children for one’s old age is indeed a kind of psychological comfort. Sister-in-law, can you cure that old lady?"
Ye Siyuan also had a grandmother herself, and when she heard Si Mingjing talking about Mrs. Liang, she felt a strong sense of empathy.
"It’s not a big problem." Si Mingjing had confidence in her dical skills.
On Prison Star, due to dietary and environntal issues, many prisoners had significant kidney problems. She had treated prisoners on Prison Star with her two masters since childhood, accumulating a lot of experience in this area.
The two masters had diligently researched treatnts for various kidney problems and kidney failure, and had developed an excellent redy for protecting and preserving kidney function. They had cured many patients with kidney failure on Prison Star. Coupled with her acupuncture treatnt, she believed the Grim Reaper couldn’t take Mrs. Liang’s life from her hands.
Ye Siyuan scooped a scallop from the bottom of the pot while saying, "Sister-in-law is amazing, cheers."
With the other arm, she raised a glass of milk that Si Lisao had just poured for her, exuding a rich milk fragrance.
Si Mingjing’s glass contained warm sake. She clinked glasses with Ye Siyuan. The sake was brewed by the butler and was usually kept for special occasions until Mo Yinhe returned and the butler decided to bring it out for a taste.
She took a sip and said, "This sake is nice."
Hearing this, Mo Yinhe took a sip himself and, while peeling peanuts, said, "It’s indeed nice. Where did you buy it?"
The butler smiled as he walked over, saying, "Young Master, I brewed this myself. The few plum trees in the manor bear many fruits every year, which I use to make sake. I’ve brewed several jars."
Mo Yinhe nodded, took another sip, and said, "Uncle Qi, give a jar to take with later."
"Alright." Mo Yinhe had a discerning palate, and since even he enjoyed it, the old butler felt accomplished and secretly decided to keep only one jar for himself, giving the rest to the young master to drink. All the younger generations in their family had jobs arranged by the Ye Family, and the old butler was utterly devoted to the Ye Family, treating Mo Yinhe with love and respect like a mber of the younger generation.
Si Lisao also found the sake delightful but, not being familiar with the butler, didn’t feel comfortable asking for more.
He changed the subject, discussing Qu Liushang’s new policies with Mo Yinhe.
Mo Yinhe chuckled lazily, saying, "I thought he had so skills, but he’s just using my thods. Opportunism and the arrogance to claim in front of my wife that he’s not inferior to ?"
Si Lisao didn’t want to continue the conversation with Mo Yinhe; they couldn’t find common ground.
He didn’t want to hear Mo Yinhe bragging.
Mo Yinhe also felt Si Lisao was dull and was unwilling to engage him. If his brother-in-law were there, perhaps they could eat and chat joyfully. Mo Yinhe was a bit nostalgic for Bo Leng.
After dinner, Mo Yinhe took Si Mingjing for a walk in the yard to aid digestion, while Si Lisao accompanied Ye Siyuan upstairs to continue watching the movie they hadn’t finished, without interfering with each other.
Ye Siyuan sat on the bed, lying in Si Lisao’s arms, watching the movie without full attention. She looked at the quietly idling robot in the room, filled with anticipation for their future child, and asked Si Lisao, "What do you think we should na our future child?"
Having nothing else to do, she wanted to co up with several nas to choose the best one.
Si Lisao pondered for a mont and said, "Let’s call the child Ye Wenrou."
"Huh? Taking my surna?"
Si Lisao didn’t care about the surna. He just thought the child she would bear would be a little rmaid, future Sea God of Atlantis and the faith of its people. Using his surna might not sit well with them.
Si Lisao confird with a deep, pleasant voice, "Yes, with your surna."
"Is this na for a girl or a boy?"
Si Lisao felt the na fit for both genders and said, "Regardless of gender, the child will be called Ye Wenrou, the gentle night like tonight’s night scene outside the window."
Si Lisao was quite casual about naming. He glanced outside and felt the night was gentle, hence the na struck him on a whim, a love at first sight, making him the most casual father in history when it cos to naming!
Ye Siyuan repeated the na twice, nodding excitedly, "Sounds good. Let’s call the child Little Wenrou."
Ye Siyuan took a picture of the robot, posted it on social dia, and captioned it, "In over eight months, my Little Wenrou will co into this world and call Mom~~~"
Thinking about becoming a mother soon, Ye Siyuan was filled with joy. Little Wenrou was the fruit of her love.
In the latter half of the movie, her attention was on social dia because many people liked her post. She frequently opened her social dia to check, delightfully sharing with Si Lisao that everyone thought the na was nice.
Mo Yinhe and Si Mingjing returned from their walk, got into a car again because Si Mingjing suddenly wanted to go shopping.
They shopped till late and were about to sleep when Si Mingjing received a phone call from Su Cheng, in a panic, "Si sister, Si sister, please co over quickly. My grandfather is in trouble!"
Si Mingjing sat up abruptly, her breathing tense, asking, "What’s happened?"
"Go to the Third Hospital. I’m taking Grandpa there now. He slipped while going to the bathroom at night and can’t move his arms or legs. Si sister, without you there, I’m not confident!"
Si Mingjing understood that Grandpa Su was old, and a fall could an a cerebral hemorrhage.
This was severe; so elderly people who are not rescued in ti might not make it through the night!
Si Mingjing got out of bed and said, "I’m coming imdiately. It’s the Third Hospital, right?"
"Yes! Do you know this hospital?"
The Third Hospital was the best in the Imperial Capital of A Country. Si Mingjing had even visited there during the day.
She said, "I know, I’m heading there right now."
Mo Yinhe, having showered, ca out of the bathroom to see her swiftly getting dressed with deft movents and asked, "What’s the matter?"
"Grandpa Su took a fall and is in the hospital. I’m worried about him and want to go see him." After Si Mingjing dressed, she went to pack her dical kit.
By the ti she finished packing and was ready to leave, Mo Yinhe was also dressed and had arranged for a car, accompanying her to the hospital. On the way, he held her hand and said, "Don’t worry, Grandpa Su has his fortunes."
"Yes, Grandpa Su is my grandfather!" In Si Mingjing’s heart, Grandpa Su was no different from her biological grandfather. She always rembered Grandpa Su’s kindness, as he was the one who brought her back to Earth from Prison Star.
Mo Yinhe instructed the driver to speed up and ignore the traffic lights, as ti could an life.
The streets were quiet late at night, and over a dozen luxurious black cars sped through the traffic lights, reaching the Third Hospital’s ergency building in just twenty minutes.
