Leng Chenmo listened, unable to suppress the envy welling up inside him. For so reason, he found himself longing for grandchildren.

It seed he could arrange for Ye Shen and Tangtang to marry sooner rather than later.

Ye Shen would never have believed it, even in his dreams. He’d rely slept for a night, and his future father-in-law had already decided to move up his and Tangtang’s wedding date!

「As the night passed and dawn was just breaking」

The mountain fire, which was expected to take several days to extinguish, was already completely out.

After the fire was extinguished, thick smoke billowed from the mountaintop. Large clumps of ash rained down, covering all the little dragon cubs in gray. Exhausted, unable to even lift their little legs, they lay on the beach, laughing at each other’s sorry states.

Gu Shurong, the little coiling dragon, lay sprawled on the ground, pointing at Bo Fengyin and Xi Lei’s ash-covered faces and rolling with laughter. "HAHAHA, so dirty, so dirty! You’ll all be little gray dragons from now on!"

Bo Fengyin, too exhausted to even shift his position, rolled his eyes wearily and muttered, "Stinky fatty, you’re just as bad! All gray and fat. From now on, you should be called Little Fatty Gray!"

Xi Lei rolled several tis on the fine sand, ending up beside Ye Jingzhe. "Big brother, we did it!"

"Yes, we did."

Ye Jingzhe’s usually unruffled, iceberg-like voice couldn’t hide his pride. "Uncle was right. As long as we brothers unite, focus our hearts, and combine our strength, nothing in this world can defeat us."

"That’s right, big brother! You’ll be my real big brother from now on!" Xi Lei rolled over to lie beside Ye Jingzhe.

He said it as if Ye Jingzhe hadn’t been his real big brother before.

"And ! You’ll be my real big brother too!" Bo Fengyin rolled over as well.

In the past, Bo Fengyin hadn’t truly accepted Ye Jingzhe’s lead.

Although Mo Yinhe had found many sons, they all had their own cliques. For instance, Gu Shurong and Ye Jingzhe got along well, while Bo Fengyin and Xi Lei were closer...

But this joint firefighting effort had burned away the barriers between the little dragon cubs, bringing them closer and erasing any sense of distance.

Ye Nianbai pulled Gu Shurong over to roll beside him, and Su Chaoyang rolled over too.

They all lay in a row, looking left and right, giggling at each other’s grimy appearances.

Leng Chenmo’s helicopter touched down, and he stepped out.

Ye Nianbai, completely spent, struggled to his feet. He staggered unsteadily towards Leng Chenmo, reaching out his small, soot-covered hands excitedly. "Uncle Grandpa, I put out the fire!"

Leng Chenmo took a few quick steps forward, scooped up the tottering Ye Nianbai into his arms, and gently rubbed his ash-covered little head. His deep voice was full of gratitude and concern. "Are you worn out?"

"I’m not tired!" Ye Nianbai boasted, shaking his head.

Behind Leng Chenmo, a line of attendants followed, each carrying a tray laden with a sumptuous breakfast.

Ye Nianbai’s eyes fixed on the fragrant stead buns, and he couldn’t help but swallow.

Leng Chenmo stopped, turned, and picked up a stead bun from a plate held by an attendant to feed him.

Ye Nianbai’s hands were too dirty, so he let Leng Chenmo feed him to replenish his strength.

Ye Nianbai was famished from exhausting all his energy. He usually didn’t find stead buns particularly tasty, but now, each bite was incredibly delicious. In just a few mouthfuls, he devoured one and then gulped down the milk Leng Chenmo brought to his lips.

The other little dragon cubs gradually picked themselves up from the ground as well.

Leng Chenmo glanced over. Their ash-covered faces and unsteady stances clearly showed how exhausted the children were after working all night. Each of them was a great hero of S Country.

Leng Chenmo had his attendants feed the children.

At the sa ti, he asked for each child’s na.

"My na is Ye Jingzhe."

"My na is Su Chaoyang."

"My na is Bo Fengyin."

"My na is Xi Lei."

"My na is Gu Shurong."

The imposing Leng Chenmo committed each child’s na to mory, picking up each one briefly to get acquainted.

Then he asked Ye Nianbai, "I asked your grandmother, and she didn’t know you had co to fight the fire. What happened?"

"Uncle Grandpa, we were going to find our mother! She was in trouble, and we went to help her. We saw the mountain fire from the plane, so we ca down to put it out!"

So that was it. Although it was a coincidence, each child had given their all, extinguishing the fire in the shortest possible ti.

A few years ago, another country had also suffered an uncontrollable wildfire. It took months to extinguish, causing massive losses and significant global environntal problems, which led to several years of extre weather changes.

If these Little Dragon cubs hadn’t intervened in ti, S Country might have faced the sa fate.

"You’re all good children. How should Uncle Grandpa reward you?"

"Uncle Grandpa, we did all this so Third Uncle can marry sooner!" Ye Nianbai said, still munching on his stead bun, his childlike voice full of cunning as he tried to be the ultimate wingman for his uncle. "You don’t need to reward us, Uncle Grandpa, just reward Third Uncle!"

The other Little Dragon cubs chid in with agreent.

Bo Fengyin raised his small head. "Can my Third Uncle marry sooner now? This Little Dragon is dead tired! If Third Uncle can’t marry sooner, then I’ve worked my tail off all night for nothing!"

Xi Lei, rubbing his sore little legs, added, " too!"

Gu Shurong, a chicken leg in his left hand and a milk bottle in his right, quickly chid in, "If it weren’t for Third Uncle, I, Your Highness, wouldn’t have pushed myself so hard! Uncle Grandpa, don’t forget to reward Third Uncle, or I, Your Highness, will not be happy!"

Su Chaoyang, after so quick ntal arithtic, chirped, "Uncle Grandpa, this baby has calculated it! Third Uncle is a one-in-a-million son-in-law!"

Although Ye Jingzhe said nothing, his usually cold expression made an effort to convey the sa sentint as his younger brothers.

For a mont, Leng Chenmo was unsure how to respond to the children’s eager expectations. His future son-in-law’s performance might be diocre, but he had so many enthusiastic supporters. Each of these little ’divine helpers’ made Leng Chenmo feel that even if the young man’s talents were ordinary, with so many Little Dragon cubs backing him, this marriage alliance wouldn’t be bad at all.

After a mont of contemplation, Leng Chenmo announced, "Uncle Grandpa understands your wishes. I promise you."

"Wow! Really?" Ye Nianbai jumped up excitedly.

"OH YEAH!"

The other Little Dragon cubs also danced with excitent, their exhaustion seemingly vanishing in an instant, as if they were fully rejuvenated.

YAY, YAY, YAY! All their efforts had been worth it. How could they not be thrilled?

Leng Chenmo wanted to take the children back to rest and reward them properly. However, Ye Jingzhe, after a respectful bow, announced their departure. "Uncle Grandpa, we still need to find our parents. Mom is waiting for our help, so we must take our leave now."
