Ye Siyuan was montarily stunned when she heard Bai Qingshui’s na.

"Bai Qingshui?" She suddenly dropped her playful deanor and said seriously, "How do you know about Bai Qingshui?"

This Little Daoist couldn’t possibly have concocted a real na out of thin air.

Bai Qingshui had indeed died, becoming food for the sharks.

Ye Siyuan’s pupils contracted. She suddenly felt that this little pipsqueak in front of her, performing divination with her fingers, actually seed to have so skill and wasn’t just putting on an act.

She asked, "Little one, are you saying Bai Qingshui has beco a Malicious Ghost and is haunting ? Is that why I’ve been sleeping so poorly lately?"

The Little Daoist blinked her large, watery eyes. With a soft yet surprisingly firm voice, she patted her small chest and said, "Auntie, if you take Xiaobao ho with you, Xiaobao will deal with her. Then we’ll see if she still dares to bother Auntie at night!"

"Alright."

Ye Shen, squatting beside them, looked utterly exasperated. "Second Sister, you actually believe her? She’s just a kid! Besides, it’s 2051; where would ghosts co from? Are you not buying clothes anymore? Look, I’ll even be your beast of burden and not complain, but let’s not get tricked by a little brat. If word of this gets out, people will think we’re idiots."

"She was able to say Bai Qingshui’s na. That doesn’t seem like soone just faking mysticism. How else would she know Bai Qingshui beca a Malicious Ghost and is haunting ? It’s not the unexpected I fear, but the ’just in case.’ It’s better to believe it than not. You stay out of it," Ye Siyuan retorted.

Ye Siyuan was already convinced by the Little Daoist.

Ye Shen looked up at the sky, speechless.

"Auntie, believe in Xiaobao, and you shall attain eternal life! Xiaobao won’t disappoint you," the Little Daoist declared confidently.

Her objective achieved, the Little Daoist briskly packed up her small bamboo basket, slung it over her tiny shoulder, and trotted ahead with light, bouncy steps.

As they passed a bubble tea shop, the Little Daoist stopped, tilted her small head, and stared at the vibrant posters of various bubble teas, swallowing audibly.

"Xiaobao, do you want so bubble tea?" Ye Shen noticed.

"Uncle, Xiaobao is thirsty," the Little Daoist said.

Ye Siyuan kicked Ye Shen’s shin. "I’m thirsty too. Go buy so, quickly."

The line at the bubble tea stall was very long, and Ye Siyuan hated waiting, so she told Ye Shen to go queue. Isn’t that what younger brothers are for?

Ye Shen grumbled for a mont before asking what kind of bubble tea they wanted.

The Little Daoist, Su Chaoyang, pointed to the poster featuring the most fruit. "Uncle, Xiaobao wants that one."

Ye Siyuan said, "I’ll have that one too."

Ye Shen bought three drinks, one for each of them. One was a dium, smaller than the other two, and he handed it to the Little Daoist.

Su Chaoyang, the Little Daoist, clutched the dium cup with both hands, tilted her small head back, and gave Ye Shen a aningful look. Pouting her lips, she said in her sweet, childlike voice, "Uncle, do you know that sotis, for just two bucks less, you risk losing Xiaobao’s love?"

Ye Shen retorted, "You’re just a kid. What do you need such a big cup for?"

The Little Daoist, Su Chaoyang, rolled her eyes. "Now you’ve *really* lost Xiaobao’s love."

Hmph!

She turned her head away, pointedly ignoring her uncle!

Ye Siyuan, smiling, handed her own large cup to the Little Daoist. "Xiaobao, Auntie will trade with you. You take the big one."

"Not ’Auntie,’ it’s ’Aunt’!" Su Chaoyang corrected.

"Why ’Aunt’?"

Ye Siyuan was puzzled. Why ’Aunt’? Children usually call adult won ’Auntie’; she’d never heard one insist on ’Aunt’ before.

After swapping for the large bubble tea, Su Chaoyang grinned, satisfied, revealing two rows of tiny white teeth. She nodded her small head decisively. "It just *is* ’Aunt’!"
