At the grand entrance of the Ye Family estate.
Seeing the imposing iron gates open, Song Pianlan, sitting in the car, quietly let out a sigh of relief. As expected, now that the Minister of Health and the academicians from the Traditional dicine Research Institute had been invited, they could finally drive straight in and enter the Ye Family estate.
Minister Xu of the Health Departnt didn’t understand dicine. However, the esteed Elder Song had personally approached him and explained the stakes. After consulting three academicians from the Traditional dicine Research Institute and confirming that there was indeed a problem with the prescription, Minister Xu had no choice but to visit the Ye Family estate deep in the night.
After all, Mo Yinhe’s identity was too unique and too noble!
If anything happened to Mo Yinhe while he was recuperating in A Country, it would certainly cause an international dispute.
As for Mo Yinhe’s identity, this story begins several decades ago:
Decades ago, scientists from A Country’s governnt found a rmaid fossil and initiated a fantastical rmaid transformation project. They aid to extract rmaid genes from the fossil and inject them into human embryos to resurrect the long-extinct beautiful rmaids.
This project sacrificed countless human babies before finally producing a unique rmaid that shocked the world. Once in the water, she could transform into a beautiful rmaid with a tail. Out of the water, she had two lovely legs, just like a regular human baby. It was truly miraculous.
This rmaid was nad Xia Yanyan and beca a national treasure of A Country from birth.
However, Xia Yanyan developed chronic granulocytic leukemia at the age of two. To save her, her parents participated in the rmaid transformation project once again, giving birth to another rmaid. But this rmaid was extrely ugly and despised by her parents. Her only mission after birth was to provide bone marrow for Xia Yanyan.
Later, when Xia Yanyan’s illness was cured, this rmaid, only six years old, was heartlessly abandoned by her Xia parents and thrown into the sea to fend for herself.
This should have been the end of the story.
Yet, more than a decade later, this extrely ugly rmaid returned. She had beco the queen of a nation and was hundreds of tis more beautiful than Xia Yanyan—akin to an ugly duckling that transford into a white swan.
This "nation" was not an existing country on land but a mythical one located twenty thousand leagues under the sea—the Atlantis Empire.
The earliest recorded descriptions of it appeared in the works of the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, "Dialogues," claiming it was destroyed by a prehistoric great flood around 10,000 BC.
No one could have imagined that the prehistoric great flood had not eradicated the Atlantis Empire. Instead, it had rely sunk the empire more than twenty thousand ters below the sea. The residents who survived, shaped by natural selection over generations of evolution, ultimately beca humans fully adapted to the environnt twenty thousand ters undersea.
From then on, the people of the Atlantis Empire considered themselves the people of the God of the Ocean, living at the bottom of the sea, and even regarded rmaids as the God of the Ocean.
The rmaid abandoned to the sea by her Xia parents in A Country inadvertently lifted the veil on the mysterious Atlantis Empire and was revered by its people as the God of the Ocean.
They venerated her as an inviolable deity—
And they made her the Queen of the Atlantis Empire.
No one in A Country could have ever imagined that a defective rmaid, a failed product created by A Country’s researchers, would stage such a spectacular coback and return as the queen of a nation.
She even married Ye Junqing, A Country’s wealthiest man, and had two sons and a daughter: her eldest son, Mo Yinhe; her second daughter, Ye Siyuan; and her youngest son, Ye Shen.
Among them, Ye Siyuan and Ye Shen inherited their mother’s rmaid genes and were listed as national treasures by A Country. Mo Yinhe, on the other hand, did not inherit his mother’s rmaid genes but was the renowned Crown Prince of the Atlantis Empire.
Not only was he second only to one and above ten thousand others, but his prestige was also exceedingly high internationally. Should he expire while recuperating in A Country, it would undoubtedly lead to war between nations!
How could Minister Xu of the Health Departnt dare to be negligent?
