This semi-transparent "object" was a very thin, impenetrable barrier capable of withstanding attacks ranging from artillery shells to bullets and lasers. Mo Yinhe, his mind still clouded, felt her resistance. His arms suddenly tightened. A powerful sense of oppression spread through the room as he refused to let go. His chiseled lips, holding a hint of domineering tenderness, buried themselves in the crook of her neck as he breathed in her scent.
His eyes, though unable to see clearly, allowed his senses to genuinely discern the unique scent of his ’Baby’—it was unmistakable!
The next second, Si Mingjing’s voice stopped abruptly.
Because the man had suddenly captured her lips!
"MMPH..."
Si Mingjing’s eyes widened in shock.
The next mont, she felt like a soft, sweet cushion enveloped in the man’s embrace. A voice, overwhelmingly strong yet tender, resounded by her ear, "I knew it was you, Baby."
Even though his vision was unfocused, even though his mind was unclear, he just knew: the dragon’s pheromones emanating from the little creature in his arms belonged to his woman!

So the man wasn’t lucid after all! Even with his clouded mind, he could still outwit her! She had underestimated him! The consequence of underestimating the enemy was being imprisoned in his arms, mistaken for Xiaobai’s mother! Once he sobered up and realized his mistake, he would undoubtedly be filled with regret. He’d probably brush his teeth furiously, perhaps even vent his anger on her.
Si Mingjing had no desire to beco soone else’s stand-in. She struggled fiercely, using her hands and feet to pound at him. But Mo Yinhe’s strength was even more formidable than she had imagined. If he refused to let go of soone, you could saw off his hands, and he still wouldn’t loosen his grip by even the slightest fraction.
Deep into the night, the two silently wrestled, neither willing to concede.
Mo Yinhe seed to be in a vivid dream, one where he had caught the woman he yearned for day and night. As long as he held on until he awoke, he would erge completely victorious.
