"Without her death, the hatred in my heart cannot be quelled! Yinhe, don’t think that by simply bestowing a title upon her, her status will be enough to make fear touching her! Anyone who dares to make a fool of must die!"
The King of Gendaya waved his hand, and imdiately, two tall, formidable guards approached Si Mingjing.
Mo Yinhe stood his ground, sneering, "Your Majesty, have you forgotten that my hundred thousand troops are hovering over your territory? If you’re not afraid of starting a war, then try laying a finger on my Crown Princess Consort!"
"Yinhe, you dare to threaten !" The King of Gendaya was furious.
"And what if I do?" Mo Yinhe’s eyes narrowed slightly.
The King of Gendaya abruptly rose, shouting sternly, "Guards! Drag these two out and slaughter them!"
"Your Majesty, you mustn’t—!"
Several high-ranking officials rushed over, attempting to prevent the King of Gendaya from making a grave mistake in his anger.
Mo Yinhe was Atlantis’s Crown Prince, second only to the Queen. If sothing happened to him in their country, it wouldn’t just be a matter of killing one person!
Yet, His Majesty was known for his brutal nature. In a fit of rage, he would kill anyone.
The high officials were so anxious they were practically on fire. They had almost run all the way and now stood in the main hall, panting for breath.
"Your Majesty, why not let Miss Si explain why she gave you latonin? If she cannot justify herself, it won’t be too late to execute her then. What if this is the cure for your chronic migraines? Mistakenly killing a doctor is a minor issue, but your migraines remaining incurable would be a major one!"
These officials had exhausted their ingenuity trying to persuade His Majesty to spare her life.
Even though they didn’t believe Si Mingjing, they had to plead for her now.
She was just a nobody, not worth ntioning! But Mo Yinhe was protecting her... The Queen of Atlantis was protecting her... With such powerful people protecting her, this woman could not be easily touched!
One official looked at Si Mingjing and, without waiting for the King of Gendaya’s command, urged, "Miss Si, please explain!"
Si Mingjing’s lips curved slightly, and she remained unshaken in the face of danger.

"You do not suffer from migraines but from a Poisonous Insect curse. There is a Poisonous Insect in your head, and every migraine attack is caused by this creature. Do you not sense this yourself?"
"latonin helps your migraines because it not only has a calming and sleep-inducing effect on you but also on the Poisonous Insect in your head, lulling it to sleep. You accuse of deceiving you, yet I am simply treating the cause. Why are you so enraged?"
Si Mingjing’s words flowed effortlessly, question after question. Her lips curved with a trace of wickedness.
The King of Gendaya suddenly sat upright, staring at Si Mingjing in disbelief, his expression shocked.
"How—how do you know?"
"I am a healer. Observation, listening, inquiry, and pulse-taking are my basic skills. From your appearance and the fact your migraines have been incurable for years, I deduced the cause of your illness."
"If you grind into minceat today, no one will be left who can alleviate your migraines."
"Are you sure you still want to kill ?"
The King of Gendaya imdiately gestured, signaling the two guards approaching Si Mingjing to stand down.
The Queen imdiately said, "Your Majesty, she must be fooling you! How could Poisonous Insects actually exist? This woman is clearly spouting nonsense to bewitch you!"
"Whether it’s nonsense or not, I believe His Majesty knows best. The Queen is not the one suffering, yet she repeatedly slanders . Could it be that she doesn’t wish for His Majesty’s illness to be cured by ?"
"Or do you wish for His Majesty to be tornted by the Poisonous Insect... so that your son can ascend to the throne sooner?"
"You!" The Queen shot to her feet.
Even if the Queen truly wished for her son to ascend the throne early, she could not show it, nor could she allow others to speak so recklessly before His Majesty!

"Have I struck a nerve, infuriating the Queen?" Si Mingjing asked smoothly.
Mo Yinhe, standing beside Si Mingjing, laughed.

The King of Gendaya’s face grew so dark it seed water might drip from it; his gaze on the Queen was sinister.
The Queen shivered. "Your Majesty, don’t listen to her sowing discord..."
"Enough." The King of Gendaya cut the Queen off.
His gaze fell coldly on Si Mingjing. As he pondered how to deal with her, a headache suddenly struck him.
The headache struck like a tsunami, leaving the towering emperor defenseless.
He pressed his brow, subconsciously telling Yang Wanling, who stood beside him teary-eyed, "dicine! Quick, give the dicine!"
Even latonin, for soone plagued by headaches, was a lifesaver.
Yet Yang Wanling lay prostrate on the ground and said, "Father, the Queen threw all the dicine in the trash. I have no dicine left."
The King of Gendaya clutched his head, unable to bear the pain. He felt a violent urge to kill.
Hearing Si Mingjing say there was a Poisonous Insect in his head, it was as if he could feel it rampaging through his brain. This instantly enraged the King of Gendaya.
He, a monarch, tornted by an insect for over twenty years! Absolutely preposterous!
The King of Gendaya pointed at Si Mingjing, who stood in the hall.
"Co here! I’ll give you one chance to treat . You’d better use all your skills, or I’ll have you dragged out and chopped into minceat imdiately!"
Si Mingjing nodded gracefully. "You will see that your decision is extrely wise."
Then, she ascended the steps, composed as she approached the King of Gendaya.
She faced danger with calm composure. Her slender figure was striking.
"Please extend your hand. I will take your pulse first."
Si Mingjing spoke respectfully, reverence in her heart, and the King of Gendaya was temporarily satisfied.
Enduring the severe headache, he extended his hand and placed it on the armrest.
Si Mingjing spent five minutes taking his pulse.
For those five minutes, the entire hall was silent as a grave.
All eyes were on Si Mingjing and on His Majesty, the veins in his neck bulging from the headache.
After taking his pulse, Si Mingjing said mysteriously, "Your Majesty, there is indeed a Poisonous Insect in your brain. If it is not drawn out, your migraines will never heal."
Mo Yinhe stood in the hall, eyes narrowed, focusing intently on the King of Gendaya’s head.
He had X-ray vision and could clearly see the inside of the King of Gendaya’s head, yet he saw no Poisonous Insect.
But Mingjing spoke with such conviction.
What was she bluffing about?
Mo Yinhe’s lips curled into a mischievous smirk, his heart filled with curiosity. Watching Mingjing earnestly spout nonsense, he almost believed her.
