The most typical feature was the dod ceiling, both large and round, which looked majestic and solemn.
Passing through the waterproof layer, the aircraft landed on Qu Liushang’s mansion grounds.
Si Mingjing stepped out of the aircraft. "Landing at soone’s place without notice, isn’t that a bit inappropriate?"
Mo Yinhe found this amusing, his voice clear and llow. "Mingjing, should I have made a grand announcent to everyone that the Crown Prince of Atlantis is coming, so they can prepare for my arrival? The little guy, Qu Liushang, isn’t at ho. Landing at his place now won’t raise any suspicions."
No sooner had he finished speaking than a refined and distinguished man wearing glasses, looking like a learned scholar, stood curiously watching them five ters ahead.
That man was Qu Liushang himself, a faint, unreadable smile on his lips.
"Crown Prince, what an unexpected guest."
Mo Yinhe, who had assud Qu Liushang wasn’t ho, was montarily speechless.
Si Mingjing’s eyes narrowed slightly. "What do we do now?"
Mo Yinhe, with ease, wrapped his arm around her shoulder, leading her towards Qu Liushang.
His face was plastered with a cunning smile. "So you are ho, what a coincidence. I ca specifically to find you, and I was worried I’d co for nothing. I have important matters to discuss with you."
Si Mingjing listened to his elaborate nonsense.
Qu Liushang didn’t believe it. However, he often visited the Ye Family manor unannounced, even brazenly entering Mo Yinhe’s bedroom. Now that Mo Yinhe had arrived uninvited, Qu Liushang couldn’t really complain. He had to receive him with due etiquette.
He invited Mo Yinhe into the drawing room for tea.
In the drawing room, Qu Liushang and Mo Yinhe sat drinking tea. Si Mingjing opened her palm and sent a WeChat ssage to Yang Wanling.
She would not, and could not, save Qu Gaoyang!
The only way to save her senior brother now was to cure the King of Gendaya’s migraines.
Qu Liushang asked, "Crown Prince, what important matter do you wish to discuss with ?"
Mo Yinhe said, "I know you’ve been seeking renowned doctors to treat your father’s migraines. You must have heard about Mingjing’s dical skills. I brought her here specifically to treat your father’s illness. As a brother, I’ve done all I can. Nothing more needs to be said, right?"
"It’s because my stepmother went after Miss Si’s senior brother, isn’t it?" Qu Liushang’s tone was extrely calm, without the slightest ripple of emotion, yet he hit the nail on the head.
Mo Yinhe raised an eyebrow. This kid really wasn’t easy to fool.
Since that was the case, Mo Yinhe didn’t bother beating around the bush.
"A partnership?"
"Of course."
Otherwise, he wouldn’t have hurried back to Gendaya straight away.
From the mont Si Mingjing gave Yang Wanling a bottle of dicine for treating migraines, Qu Liushang had been paying attention to this matter. He had sent Yang Wanling to be by his father’s side precisely to see whether that dicine would have any effect on the King’s migraines.
The results proved to be significant.
Qu Liushang had already guessed that Si Mingjing suddenly gifting Yang Wanling a bottle of dicine must have been because she almost died at Qu Gaoyang’s hands.
She was seeking revenge!
They were all intelligent people. There was no need to spell things out.
Qu Liushang had waited at ho, not wanting Yang Wanling to hog all the credit! If he wasn’t there, the only one who could introduce Si Mingjing to the King would have been Yang Wanling, but now... well...
Qu Liushang rose, graceful and composed. "I will take Miss Si to the Royal Palace, hoping she will not disappoint . Crown Prince, you can wait here for the good news."
He also saw this as the perfect opportunity to get to know Miss Si better. In his heart, his thoughts on her identity were converging on a single answer.
Mo Yinhe wasn’t about to let him have his way. With a sneer, he challenged, "Do you think I would allow the woman I love to enter the Royal Palace alone, to face your father, known for his violent temper and for casually taking lives at the slightest disagreent?"
"Then I can’t take you in," Qu Liushang stated, adopting a firm stance.
Si Mingjing, having privately contacted Yang Wanling, clasped her hands and said, "Yang Wanling has agreed to introduce to her father."
Mo Yinhe then laughed. "Qu Liushang, I’ll give you one last chance. Opportunity knocks but once."
Qu Liushang stood up. "Let’s go. What’s our relationship anyway?"
As the situation shifted, Qu Liushang chose to compromise.
Mo Yinhe’s gaze landed on Qu Liushang with scorn.
Qu Liushang pretended not to notice.
He arranged for a submarine. His residence was so distance from the Royal Palace.
The submarine was shaped like a small flying saucer, only able to accommodate three to five people. It was unlike the flying saucer-shaped airplane Si Mingjing took when she ca with Mo Yinhe, which could hold over a hundred people. That was a large flying saucer, with not just seating areas but also small rooms and toilets—utterly incomparable.
The two types of flying saucers were as different as cars and airplanes.
After boarding the flying saucer-shaped submarine, Si Mingjing and Mo Yinhe sat side by side, with Qu Liushang in the front row.
"Miss Si, how do you plan to treat my father’s migraines? How long will it take?"
"Three days," Si Mingjing boldly declared.
Then she glanced at the ti.
There was an hour left out of the five hours ntioned by Qu Gaoyang’s mother. Will we make it in ti? she wondered, worried about her senior brother’s safety.
In her three months on Earth, she had only t her senior brother twice—once to bail him out of trouble, and once on New Year’s Eve. Although they t infrequently, they often interacted on WeChat, discussing dical matters. If her senior brother encountered a difficult case, he would consult her as well.
Their relationship was very good.
Now, her senior brother was in danger because of her, having been kidnapped to the Undersea World, and Si Mingjing was filled with guilt.
At that mont, Yang Wanling sent another ssage: "Miss Si, it’s awful! Just now, the queen brought the physician who has been treating my father for years. The doctor accused of deceiving my father and said you were deceiving him as well. He claid the dicine you gave was just ordinary latonin, which can’t cure migraines at all. Is that true?"
Si Mingjing was montarily speechless.
Yang Wanling continued, full of panic, "My father is now in a rage. He says he wants to kill us! Miss Si, what should we do?!"
Si Mingjing looked up and told Mo Yinhe, "Our arrival has been leaked. Qu Gaoyang’s mother might know I’m here. She’s trying to preempt my plans and disrupt them. Is his mother a formidable figure?"
Such a developnt was inevitable, Mo Yinhe thought. No one could escape my eyes once they entered my territory.
"You should ask Qu Liushang about that."
No one knew Qu Liushang’s stepmother better than he did.
Qu Liushang said, "Wait a mont."
He made a call. After a brief conversation, he hung up and turned to question Si Mingjing, "That dicine, was it latonin?"
"Yes," Si Mingjing admitted openly. Since it had been discovered, denial was now pointless.
Qu Liushang’s face changed abruptly. "Miss Si, you’ve got so nerve! Is this the ’three-day complete cure’ for my father’s illness you spoke of?"
Mo Yinhe kicked out at the front seat with a cold rebuke, "Watch your tone! Be polite to my woman!"
Si Mingjing remained unflustered, her tone firm despite being in the wrong. "Who said latonin can’t cure your father’s migraines?"
