"Who is Chen Fengdu?"

The silhouette of Mo Yinhe was about to disappear.

He left with one last sentence, "Go find Chen Fengdu, retrieve our mories..."

"Hey, don’t go! You haven’t told who Chen Fengdu is! Mo Yinhe, Mo Yinhe..."

"I’m here."

Mo Yinhe sat beside her, lifting the blanket she had pulled over her head, thinking she was talking to him.

Si Mingjing suddenly awoke. Seeing Mo Yinhe’s handso face, she subconsciously asked, "Who is Chen Fengdu?"

Hearing her ntion Chen Fengdu, Mo Yinhe looked puzzled. "Why are you suddenly asking about him?"

"Who is he?" Si Mingjing sat up straight.

Mo Yinhe said, "An old immortal."

Si Mingjing: "..."

"Why are you suddenly asking about him?" Mo Yinhe questioned again.

He was the one who told in my dream, even saying we needed to retrieve our mories, Si Mingjing thought.

After pondering for a long while, Si Mingjing said, "I want to et him."

Mo Yinhe replied, "After we land, I’ll take you to see him."

"Mm."

Mo Yinhe gestured, and Fengjue approached.

Mo Yinhe whispered to Fengjue, "Tell the captain we’re not returning to the Imperial Capital. Head to Fengshan Holiday Villa."

Fengjue nodded in acknowledgnt and bowed before leaving.

The private jet landed on Fengshan, in the suburbs of A Country’s Imperial Capital. On the mountainside, wreathed in an ethereal mist, stood a resort complex of townhouse-like villas. Before them lay a natural lake with crystal-clear water. The elegant surroundings and beautiful scenery made it an ideal location for a vacation or retirent.

From the private jet, one could see a winding, nine-bend corridor leading to the Shuixin Pavilion in the middle of the lake, where an old man with white hair was fishing.

Beside the white-haired old man stood a delicate and lovely young woman with an easel before her.

The woman was painting, her subject the fishing, white-haired old man.

The saucer-shaped private jet landed on an open space by the lake. Mo Yinhe, Si Mingjing, Ye Siyuan, and their group stepped out of the plane and walked towards the heart of the lake.

The fishing, white-haired old man saw Mo Yinhe and imdiately raised his voice in a high-pitched, leisurely tone, "Well now, my grandson has co? What brings you to visit your grandpa?"

Mo Yinhe’s expression turned incredibly foul in an instant.

As she drew closer, Si Mingjing got a clear look at the white-haired old man’s face and realized his features were worlds apart from those of an ordinary old man.

His skin was delicate, his face wrinkle-free. Had it not been for his white hair, he would have appeared no older than thirty.

Most captivating were his magnificent black eyes, like those of a manga protagonist, slanting upwards towards his temples, shining like stars.

He wasn’t an old man at all, but a soul-stirringly handso, white-haired man.

"Grandson, co over to Grandpa," Chen Fengdu said.

Seeing Mo Yinhe, Chen Fengdu was especially excited, never missing a chance to get a verbal jab in; he’d feel cheated if he said even one word less.

Yet, Mo Yinhe couldn’t refute him.

Because Mo Yinhe’s father was Chen Fengdu’s son.

Not his biological son, but...

Chen Fengdu was a vampire progenitor.

Mo Yinhe’s father, Ye Junqing, had been gravely injured in his youth while saving his mother, Ye Xinguang, and had been on the brink of death.

It was Chen Fengdu who had first embraced Ye Junqing. Only after that did Ye Junqing narrowly escape death, brushing past Ghost Gate Pass.

All those embraced by Chen Fengdu were considered his sons.

Therefore, Chen Fengdu’s claim to be Mo Yinhe’s grandfather was well-founded and irrefutable.

Mo Yinhe didn’t know Chen Fengdu’s true age, but he was definitely an old immortal.

Mo Yinhe thoroughly disliked this old immortal and found the sight of him irritating. If it weren’t for his sweetheart wanting to et Chen Fengdu, Mo Yinhe would never willingly interact with him.

Chen Fengdu, however, greatly enjoyed provoking Mo Yinhe. "Grandson, co, co, sit over here."

Chen Fengdu called him "grandson" repeatedly, showing no intention of stopping. This continued until he saw Si Mingjing standing next to Mo Yinhe. Then, as if he had seen a ghost, Chen Fengdu abruptly stood up.

Losing his footing, his body swayed, and he nearly fell into the lake. "You... you... you..."

Chen Fengdu strode over to Si Mingjing and took both her hands. "What’s your na?"

"Si Mingjing," she replied.

Chen Fengdu was so moved that tears stread down his face. "You’re finally here!"

So alike... so incredibly alike!

Her features were identical to the ones in his mory.

Chen Fengdu was overwheld with excitent.

He had waited for her for so many years. He had thought she would never appear again, but unexpectedly, the day he finally saw her arrived.

Tears stread down Chen Fengdu’s aged face as he frantically wiped the corners of his eyes.

Si Mingjing didn’t understand why this white-haired, bewitching man was so emotional. In her dream, Mo Yinhe had told her to find Chen Fengdu, saying it could restore so mories between them.

Unsure if the dream was real, Si Mingjing decided to try her luck. "I’ve co to ask you for sothing."

Chen Fengdu imdiately exclaid, "I know what you want! I’ve kept it for you for more years than you can imagine! I almost destroyed it!"

Gripping Si Mingjing’s wrist, Chen Fengdu said, "Co with ."

Mo Yinhe started to follow, but Chen Fengdu snapped, "Grandson, you’re not allowed!"

A cold glint flashed in Mo Yinhe’s eyes. If this old immortal dares to call ’grandson’ one more ti, I’ll kick him into the river!

Chen Fengdu led Si Mingjing through the winding corridors, away from the lake, and into one of the townhouses by the shore.

Once inside, Si Mingjing followed Chen Fengdu into his study.

In the study was a bookshelf, upon which sat a blue-and-white porcelain vase.

Chen Fengdu twisted the vase, and the bookshelf suddenly swung open, revealing a doorway.

Beyond it lay a secret chamber.

Si Mingjing followed Chen Fengdu inside.

The secret chamber was filled with antiques and books. Si Mingjing looked around curiously, casually picking up a book from a shelf and flipping it open.

When she saw what was inside...

Si Mingjing quickly slamd the book shut.

She hadn’t expected that a book which looked so grand on the outside would contain illustrations that couldn’t pass censorship. That was such a strain on the eyes! She regretted carelessly flipping through soone else’s books, wishing she could chop off her own hands.

But Chen Fengdu said, "Those books, if you like them, take them. Take them back, study them, and later, with my grandson..."

"Stop!" Si Mingjing’s cheeks flushed slightly.

She stood to the side and asked curiously, "I don’t know you. Why would you be keeping sothing for ?"

Chen Fengdu found a small box and handed it to her.

"You certainly don’t know . But let ask you, is there a Demon King living in your mind? One who throws a fit and asserts his dominance whenever you even think about flirting with other handso young n?"

Si Mingjing suddenly looked up and nodded.

Chen Fengdu placed the small box in her hands. "Take this back with you; it contains all the mories of you and your Demon King. I’ve held onto it for so many years. Today, it can finally be returned to its rightful owner. This also relieves a great weight from my mind."
