Dong Xin Yan stood still for a mont, took a gentle breath, and then stepped forward, walking in step by step.
Upon entering MK Group, she inquired at the reception desk and learned that the interview would be held in the eting room on the second floor. She thanked the receptionist and headed towards the elevator.
She pressed the elevator’s up button and stood there, waiting for the elevator door to open.
Seeing the elevator was still thirty floors high, she spread out the interview materials in her hand, seizing the mont to review them once more.
In front of MK Group, two black cars arrived and stopped.
The bodyguard from the car behind got out, hurried a few steps to the rear seat of the car in front, and opened the car door. Gu Ningyi slowly stepped out of the car, looking handso and elegant, exuding nobility, yet his entire deanour was so cold that it made one’s heart tremble.

Gu Ningyi’s dark eyes slightly narrowed as his gaze landed on the slender figure not far ahead.
He could... still easily recognize her, no matter when or where.
A hint of darkness flickered swiftly through Gu Ningyi’s eyes, and his gaze darkened. He slightly raised his chin and coldly said, "What, what’s the matter?"
The people behind him exchanged glances, baffled by Gu Ningyi’s sudden question, until a quick-reacting mber stepped forward and replied, "Mr. Gu, those people should be here for the interview today."
"Secretaries?"
"Yes, for the recruitnt of your new secretary."
So, Dong Xin Yan was here to apply for the position of his new secretary?

Gu Ningyi curled his lips, but there was no hint of a smile in his eyes. Then, he withdrew his gaze and continued walking forward.
When Dong Xin Yan lifted her head from the materials, she saw through the glass surface of the elevator door a group of people in suits behind her, among them a figure that... familiar one stirred her heart.
