Dong Xin Yan lifted her gaze and looked out of the car window. The speed of the car wasn’t very fast, and the scenery outside slowly flowed past her eyes. She squinted slightly, contemplated for a mont, and then slowly opened her lips.
She didn’t answer Wenwen’s question but instead asked, "Wenwen, there’s a question I want to ask you."
"Sister Xin, what do you want to ask? I’ll tell you everything I know, without holding anything back!" Wenwen imdiately responded, adding, "You can ask anything that’s bothering you, especially issues like pre-wedding jitters!"
Dong Xin Yan’s tense emotions were involuntarily amused by her, but soon she lowered her eyes, paused for half a second, and said, "It’s like this, I have a friend who recently encountered a particularly troubling situation."
Dong Xin Yan still couldn’t confide as herself, so she fabricated a friend.
Fortunately, Wenwen didn’t mind and continued to listen attentively.
Dong Xin Yan pursed her lips and continued, "She and her boyfriend have been together for many years, have deep feelings, and love each other. They were planning to get married soon. They were supposed to step into the chapel smoothly, hand in hand. But on the eve of the wedding, she suddenly realized that years ago, she had another relationship. Back then, she really liked that man, but due to an accident, she lost that mory and forgot about him, only to rember now."
"Wow..."
Wenwen’s eyes widened in amazent, "Sister Xin, are you sure what you’re telling is real? Your friend’s experience is just too dramatic!"
Dramatic, huh.
It truly is dramatic.
Dong Xin Yan smiled helplessly, "The drama is yet to co, you know? Before she rembered everything, her feelings for her current fiancé were deep and resolute. No matter what happened between them before, they got through it hand in hand. As for the man she forgot, she always disliked him, even hated him, wanting to stay far away from him. But after she rembered him, she found that she surprisingly still liked him all along. Her feelings, like her mories, were sealed away and never changed."
This follow-up indeed shocked Wenwen. Though it’s not her friend’s fault for losing her mory, it’s been so many years, and everything has changed. She already has a loving fiancé she’s been with for many years. Even if she rembers the past now, at most, she should just look back on it with a sense of nostalgia or regret. Aren’t things different now?
How can feelings remain fresh and unchanged?
There are almost no things in the world that can defy ti!
"So... so your friend loves her fiancé and the guy from the past at the sa ti?"
"She doesn’t know, she doesn’t know. For as long as she can rember, she has loved her fiancé unwaveringly. But overnight, everything changed, everything beca chaotic. She doesn’t know who she really loves anymore."
Dong Xin Yan, as if clutching at straws, stared at Wenwen with dark eyes, subconsciously holding her hands, asking, "Wenwen, if it were you, what would you choose?"
If it were her, what would she choose?
Wenwen blinked her big eyes, her voice clear and without hesitation, "If it were , I’d look at their face!"
