Right now, she shouldn’t think about anything else. The only thing she should consider is that the transactions between her and Gu Ningyi could be counted on her fingers. After taking a shower, Dong Xin Yan ca out of the bathroom, walked straight to the big bed, lay down, pulled the quilt over herself tightly, and closed her eyes.
She wanted to sleep, to sleep well, and forget everything about tonight.
Dong Xin Yan initially thought she would have trouble sleeping, but she didn’t know whether it was from exhaustion or discomfort; once she closed her eyes, she fell into a deep sleep.
However, she had another dream.
This dream wasn’t as beautiful as the ones she’d had before, nor was it a nightmare. Instead, it was a very strange dream.
In her dream, there was a boy who couldn’t see but was very handso, yet had a terrible temper. Yes, he spoke harshly and often told people to get lost.
In her dream, there was also a beautiful girl with delicate features, but her hair was cut short and tidy, and she wore oversized sports clothes. Her temper... well, it wasn’t great either. She always went against the boy.
The boy would tell her to get lost, but she wouldn’t. She stubbornly stayed around him, making all kinds of noises, driving the boy to the brink of anger until he would try to grab her with the bottle in his hand.
Unfortunately, his body was numbed by alcohol and weak all over, unable to run more than a few steps. Plus, since he couldn’t see, he could never catch the girl.
When the boy couldn’t catch her, he would hurl vicious words at her, while she laughed triumphantly and retorted, "Gu Ningyi, in your pathetic state, you think you can catch ? Give it up!"
The boy’s face turned livid with anger, unwilling to engage with her. The girl sneered, continuing to mock him, "Gu Ningyi, you’re a coward. Just because of a little problem with your eyes, you can’t face reality and indulge in drinking every day. If I were you, I’d just jump into the Yangtze River. What’s the point of living in this world, wasting air and food?"
Although the girl was beautiful, her voice was grating, like that of an old man.
The boy was both annoyed and irritable, yet he couldn’t do anything about her. His hands hanging by his sides clenched into tight fists.
Then, the scene suddenly changed.
It was still the handso boy and the beautiful girl, but this ti, the boy no longer indulged in drinking or was in despair. Instead, he was rosy-cheeked and vigorous. When faced with the girl’s provocation, he could accurately determine her direction and quickly catch her, then promptly throw her out of the room.
The girl refused to admit defeat, getting up and rushing back in, but each ti, after just a few minutes, she would be thrown out again.
The girl fell to the ground in embarrassnt, her little face scrunched up in pain. She angrily glared at the boy, biting her lip, "Gu Ningyi, are you even a man? Don’t you know how to be gentle with girls? Who throws a girl onto the ground like this?"
The boy stood tall, leaning against the door fra. Although he couldn’t see, his dark eyes were directed toward her. He smirked slightly, chuckling softly, "Of course I know how to be gentle... but only with my woman. So? Do you want to be my woman?"
The girl knew he couldn’t see her, yet for so reason, she felt like he was looking at her. She fiercely bit her red lips. Although she should have been angry, her fair little face suddenly flushed with two red patches.
