Just as Gu Ningyi took a step, one leg was suddenly hugged tightly, halting his stride instantly. A fleeting look of disbelief flashed in his eyes. He lowered his gaze, startled, and looked at the woman sitting on the ground, hugging his thigh regardless of her image.
Dong Xin Yan raised her head, looking at him drowsily. Her cheek brushed against his pant leg, and she spoke with grievances, "You hurt , and just smiled it off..."

Gu Ningyi clenched his fists tightly, taking several deep breaths to suppress the overwhelming rage in his heart. He said in a deep voice, "Let go of !"
But Dong Xin Yan seed lost in her own world, hugging Gu Ningyi’s thigh even tighter, singing with great grievance, "Tears have flowed, mories are redundant, it’s my fault for loving all your wrongs..."
Gu Ningyi always knew Dong Xin Yan wasn’t good at drinking, but he didn’t know that she could go so wild after getting drunk.
It was one thing to cling to his thigh, bawling with snot and tears, but another to, amidst all this shouting, attempt to tug at his pants...
The veins on Gu Ningyi’s forehead throbbed, his dark eyes instantly clouded with ominous shadow, wishing he could just strangle her right there.

He bent slightly, reached out his hands, and tried to pry Dong Xin Yan’s hands off. But Dong Xin Yan grasped even tighter, like defending her territory, her head rubbing up persistently, answering with a bit of a slur, "Won’t let go, won’t let go, unless you forgive and stop being mad at ."
Although Gu Ningyi was stronger than Dong Xin Yan, he ultimately couldn’t withstand soone drunk and unreasonably clinging like her. As soon as he pried off her left hand, her right hand clasped back, and prying her right hand, her left hand gripped tighter, plus her restless head that kept on rubbing.
Gu Ningyi was already sowhat aggravated by her teasing, his face now looking extrely unpleasant.
Gu Ningyi stared at Dong Xin Yan fiercely for a long while, bursting into a furious laugh, "Fine, I forgive you, I’m not mad anymore, can you let go now?"
Dong Xin Yan was sowhat unresponsive, looking at Gu Ningyi with her hazy big eyes.
Gu Ningyi closed his eyes, then opened them, he slowly crouched down, his dark eyes leveling with Dong Xin Yan’s, thin lips slightly parting, gritting his teeth as he said distinctly, "You win, I forgive you. Let go!"
His tone carried a hint of sharpness, especially the last two words, such that even the semi-conscious Dong Xin Yan was involuntarily startled by his aura, and her hands hugging his thigh instantly loosened.
Gu Ningyi looked displeased, cast her a cold glance, and was about to get up, but suddenly Dong Xin Yan raised her arms toward him like a child acting spoiled, "Hug ."
Dong Xin Yan’s cheeks were a rich red, her big eyes glazed over from drunkenness, yet in those deep black pupils, a clear, bright light shone through, her long eyelashes gently fluttering, red lips slightly pouting.
Such a pure, defenseless manner, the way she depended on him wholeheartedly, was sothing he had never seen before.
He hadn’t expected Dong Xin Yan to have such a side, so unexpectedly displayed before him, and in an instant, it broke down his defenses.
Gu Ningyi was really trying hard to restrain himself, he should’ve lifted his foot and left imdiately, but in the end, he couldn’t resist extending his hand.
