His footsteps unconsciously softened and slowed, landing silently, as he step by step walked to the bedside, slightly lowering his gaze, his eyes falling on Dong Xin Yan’s face.
By the faint light coming in from outside, he saw Dong Xin Yan’s pale face, and her red and swollen eyes, even her nose was red. It was easy to imagine how long she had been crying.

Gu Ningyi gently stroked Dong Xin Yan’s cheek, inwardly despising himself again; it seed he had really gone mad.
