“I’m finding it difficult to believe you guys were not in contact, if he did that.” Clarence poured himself a glass of red wine and finished the whole thing in a single gulp.
The alcohol burned his throat as it traveled down his neck. His heart felt as if it was burning too.
Miranda sighed, “How am I going to get you to believe ?!”
“I rember I used to say that exact sentence to you all the ti too,” Clarence said as he smiled teasingly.
