The young woman in Chanel glanced at the crash in confusion.
She looked at the tire marks on the ground and at the dump truck that had hit a road pillar, and she gasped.
Her car had been parked right there earlier. The dump truck would have slamd her red BMW into the pillar if Clarence had not hit her, and one could imagine the consequences.
“Thank you… I was wrong about you.” The young woman apologized to Clarence with a slightly pale face.
Miranda then realized that Clarence was trying to save the woman’s life, and she looked at him in surprise.

Cecilia noticed Clarence’s glance. She stretched out her legs and jokingly asked, “Mr. Howard, do my legs look good?”

“How… how did you know?” Cecilia was stunned.
Clarence said slowly, “You’ve been poisoned.”
“Huh? How did that happen? How… how did I get poisoned?” Cecilia panicked when Clarence diagnosed her with being poisoned, after he had been so sure about his analysis earlier.
Clarence shook his head gently. “Fortunately, we realized it early, so you can still be saved. If this was a week later, your innards would have already started wasting away and you would die of cardiopulmonary failure! To outsiders, you would just look like you had a heart attack. They won’t be able to tell you were poisoned!
Cecilia was frightened. Her delicate body trembled as she gripped Clarence’s arm.
She practically threw herself into his arms, making him a little dizzy.
“Mr. Howard, you must save !”
“Don’t worry. Find a place, I’ll try to detoxify you,” said Clarence.
“Okay.”
Cecilia agreed and drove Clarence to her villa.
After entering the villa, Cecilia took off her high heels and her stockings in front of Clarence.

“Lie down on your stomach on the couch first,” said Clarence.
