992: Chapter 497: Great Luo Boundary Gate 992: Chapter 497: Great Luo Boundary Gate At its peak, there were more than three hundred Cultivators of Wood surrounding Michael S.
Lucien.
However, after several “losses” and a number of escapes, only a little over a hundred remained.
Michael S.
Lucien still had no qualms, telling everyone candidly, “You all already know the situation here.
You can’t escape on your own, and it’s certain death if you try.
Following may be risky, but as long as I find what I want, I will take you away, giving you so chance of survival.”
After so thought, the cultivators admitted that it made sense and could only help Michael S.
Lucien search for the Gonggong Miracle Stone with extra caution.
As Michael S.
Lucien watched the cultivators under his command, he had another idea in mind: “The Gonggong Miracle Stone is as high as Tire-8, and there must be powerful Demon Beings guarding it nearby.
When the ti cos, I’ll send these cultivators to probe first, hide behind, and strike a deadly blow once I find the weaknesses of the Demon Beings.”
“Even if I can’t find any weaknesses, these people can still wear down the guardian Demon Beings.”
Anyway, he had no intention to take any of them out with him.
Deep down, these people might not be unaware of the likely outco, but they were just holding onto their luck.
anwhile, Michael S.
Lucien was becoming anxious since he hadn’t found the Gonggong Miracle Stone even after nearly a month.
According to the previous pattern, the Country of Mourning would expand again tomorrow, not only increasing its area but also increasing the strength of the Demon Beings.
By that ti, he had no assurance of escaping unhard.
Just as he was worried, a few cultivators rushed forward with excitent in their expressions: “Your Excellency, we’ve found it!” Possessing the deanor of a great general, Michael S.
Lucien rely nodded slightly before extending his Domain in their direction: he was a Sixth Realm Five rits cultivator, with a domain range of eighty miles, truly a genius favored by the National Master.
In that direction, about thirty miles away, there was a “dark” area that he could not encompass within his Domain.
However, through his Domain, Michael S.
Lucien could see that, indeed, layers of treasure lights were occasionally emitted from the dense forest in that region.
With a wave of his hand, Michael S.
Lucien pointed in that direction: “Right there!”
His cultivators imdiately surrounded the area.
The terrain of this dense forest was undulating, with low mountains and shallow valleys, but it always gave an unfathomable sense of eeriness.
Every once in a while, a wave-shaped treasure light would rise from the dense forest, with a total of nine colors, cycling every nine tis.
The rhythm was like the long, drawn-out breaths of a gigantic creature.
When Michael S.
Lucien arrived, his Domain enveloped the area, but he couldn’t penetrate the dense forest using any secret “authority” he possessed.
Feeling wary, he commanded the cultivators: “Retrieve the treasure, and I will envelop you with my Domain Authority, guarding and blessing you!”
However, the cultivators hesitated to proceed, and Michael S.
Lucien’s face turned cold as ice: “Move forward or die!”
The group of cultivators had no choice but to advance, each deploying their strongest ans, including a few who were from the Fifth Great Realm.
As they entered the dense forest, they were swallowed by the eerie atmosphere, vanishing without a trace…
The commotion caused by the entry of the dozens of powerful cultivators was simply the swishing sound of the bushes on the edge as they first walked in.
Michael S.
Lucien directed the remaining cultivators: “Disperse, enter from different directions, and find the weak spots in this area!”
However, the cultivators refused to go to their deaths, and soone shouted out, “I don’t want to die for nothing.
Let’s fight back!” He slapped six golden Talismans onto himself, transforming into a thirty-foot-high figure of radiance, holding a long halberd and charging towards Michael S.
Lucien.
His companions also yelled, “We won’t let these Sang Island bastards treat us like nothing; let’s go down fighting if we’re going to die!”
The cultivators’ fighting spirit was roused; instead of being ekly forced to die, they chose to stand up for themselves.
Dozens of cultivators sward towards Michael S.
Lucien, brandishing their treasures and letting their spiritual lights fly.
He scoffed coldly, “A motley crowd!”
Within his Domain, an illusory sea serpent condensed in mid-air.
This sea serpent had five heads and five tails, each of which represented an authority within his Domain.
He was about to sweep the five tails in a row, confident that one sweep would annihilate this rowdy crowd.
But suddenly, the sea serpent stiffened its entire body, and no matter how much Michael S.
Lucien urged it, it wouldn’t respond.
“This is my Domain!” He roared, turning around and found the enemy coming from behind—a Demon Plant that resembled a crab and walked with a swagger!
There was a cute yet terrifying girl sitting on the Demon Plant.
“Two Tier-6 Beasts?!” Michael S.
Lucien thought to himself, no wonder they could interfere with his Domain Authority.
But then he realized sothing was wrong; although these two Demon Beings were both Tier-6, they were not of a high level.
He should have been able to suppress them easily with his Five rits and use his authority freely.
He noticed dark mist began to envelop him, with hidden, golden stars intermittently flickering like strange eyes.
The enemy had managed to get close to him without his noticing!
He let out a roar, and the five-headed, five-tailed sea serpent exploded, its light rging into his body.
He then concentrated in place, transforming into a point of starlight that flew away, utilizing his strongest escape technique!
