(Full)_2 328: Chapter 309: Did Soone Beat to It?

(Full)_2 As for the other two, don’t think they have escaped the First Tribulation.

Acting clever will only make them more detestable to the Master, and their bad luck is still to co.

At this ti, Jerald Scott and the other man felt that their bodies had also beco illusory as they passed through the tomb.

There was a sticky and obstructive feeling in their bodies, as if sothing was pulling and twitching inside them, making them very uncomfortable.

They were both Fourth Great Realm cultivators, but at this mont, recalling the Master’s two ghost beings, they were utterly terrified as they couldn’t resist at all when they were being held by the ghost beings!

The Ancient Tomb was indeed as they had speculated, containing layers of Demon Clan-activated prohibitions, each one incredibly dangerous.

However, these two Ghost Beings were truly extraordinary.

Whenever they encountered an obstacle, they were either able to figure out a way around it, or the Zombie girl would break through the barriers for them.

All things considered, it was the strange-looking Zombie girl who managed to break through more barriers.

They passed through nurous burial chambers, where so were filled with buried creatures.

Among the bones, there were Demon Clans and Demon Beasts, but the majority were from the Human Race!

So chambers contained burial treasures that, despite having gone through a very long period of ti, still emitted faint, precious light.

However, most of them had already decayed, just like the prohibitions in this tomb.

After all, even Magical Instrunts require maintenance.

Apart from the real Treasures, nothing else could remain intact after being asleep for thousands of years without damage.

The other man estimated that even if the Great Tomb were to be dug up, only about 10% of the buried treasures would still be usable.

As he was pondering this, they suddenly entered a massive burial chamber.

Lord and srizing Demon halted sharply, suspended in a vast, silent emptiness.

This place seed like a huge deep well, excavated out of the great mountain belly.

It was about fifty zhang wide, with its bottom obscured in darkness.

The surrounding stone walls were smooth and carved with special patterns, appearing to be part of a huge Array.

From the stone walls around them, several black chains extended downward.

Each chain connected to an archaic lamp the size of a water vat.

The lamps floated in the air, causing the chains to collide with a creaking sound.

Each lamp had arm-thick wicks within them, but for so reason, all the flas had already been extinguished.

Lord and srizing Demon seed to be quite cautious of this place, staying put and not carelessly progressing forward.

Then, both of them raised their heads, prompting Jerald Scott and his companion to see that the ceiling of this massive burial chamber had been broken open with a gaping hole!

Lord and srizing Demon floated up along the stone walls.

There were large Fissures around the hole, extending at least two zhang from the hole.

It seed as if sothing had forcefully burrowed through from the outside.

Owen Bertram “saw” everything from the outside and secretly ordered the Lord and the srizing Demon to check the area.

The two floated inside, and the burrowed tunnel was several hundred zhang long.

The stone walls were covered with massive claw marks, and the other end of the tunnel was underwater.

They wondered what had burrowed into the tomb, avoiding most of the strong prohibitions and making it into the tomb.

Lord and srizing Demon erged from the water and found themselves at Duck Palm Beach, in a body of water separated from the tomb entrance by a slope.

Outside this entrance, the hole was concealed by thick silt and dense aquatic vegetation.

With the surrounding area filled with rocks, it would be quite difficult for anything swimming by to notice the entrance.

Following Owen’s instructions, the two returned to the burial chamber and went to the deepest part of it along the stone walls.

Here, they were over a hundred zhang away from the top of the tomb!

So rubble was scattered at the bottom, likely debris from when the hole was created.

Apart from the debris, the base was a series of ring-shaped stone platforms, rising from the edge to the middle.

Each layer was divided into small square blocks, like stone seals piled up together.

The top layer was a square stone block about one zhang in size.

It was carved with an abstract Demon Clan pattern, more like an ancient Demon Clan text.

Owen rubbed his chin outside and fell into deep thought, “Sothing had dug through the tunnel and entered before.

Judging from the traces left behind, it seems like a certain Demonic Being from the Extinction Domain.”

But what was its purpose?

It probably intended to steal sothing.

However, there was nothing missing in the burial chamber.

Could it be that sothing had once been worshipped on the stone platform at the bottom?

Suddenly, Owen had a thought and instructed Lord and srizing Demon to check the lamps, which were empty.

All twelve of the vat-sized lamps were now devoid of oil.

The arm-thick wicks coiled at the bottom like snakes, forming a small column.

Had the Demonic Being stolen the lamp oil?

Or was it simply because after a long ti, the oil had burned out?

Owen couldn’t determine the answer for now.

As Lord and srizing Demon spiraled up along the rocky walls, they found a chanism behind the massive chains.

The other man watched, trying to figure out how to unlock the chanism based on his knowledge of his sect’s ancestral skills.

Before he could determine a solution, he saw Lord and srizing Demon each grab six chains—Three on each arm—and pull forcefully.

With a series of muffled creaking noises, the chains were pulled taut all at once.
