Terry Immortal, enduring the pain of his flesh growing back, answered: "I don’t know — I truly don’t. The Immortal Venerable only gave so hints to follow. My mission on this trip to the Lower Realm was originally to regulate the spokespersons of the Lower Realm. However, I owe Immortal Venerable a huge favor, and my ability to beco an Ard Immortal Soldier is also thanks to his help."
"I can’t ignore his words."
"But I never expected that this thing would be so weird... I’m afraid even the Immortal Venerable might not have known."
Terry Immortal looked at his regrowing hand, and was a bit fearful of Master Burgess’ ruthlessness. After racking his brain for a bit, he added, "This thing... gives the feeling that it’s beco corrupted."
"Its power attribute originally had its vast and mighty side, it should have co from the Heaven Realm, but I don’t know why it beca like this. And during my thousands of years in the Heaven Realm, aside from the Heavenly Furnace, I have never heard of any important Immortal Artifacts falling into the Lower Realm."
In the end, he expressed his loyalty to Master Burgess, "When I return to the Heaven Realm, I will undoubtedly look to you first in all matters!"
If he doesn’t prove his usefulness, he’s likely to be executed imdiately! Having co from the Heaven Realm, the "Demon Thought Stabilizing Minds" was clearly understood by Terry Immortal. The man facing him was likely so ominous presence’s avatar, set up in the Lower Realm ahead of ti!
Being able to set up such a powerful avatar in the Lower Realm before the Heavenly Track is fully restored might indicate a shift in allegiance, a transition from dark to light.
Master Burgess asked again, "After Master Craig gave you this thing, how do you handle it?"
After finding the Silkworm Cocoon, Master Martin stored it in a unique Siprit Lock Artifact, which is why Master Burgess asked this question. Terry Immortal honestly replied, "Master Burgess specially gave a storage Artifact, saying this thing is extraordinary, ordinary storage treasures might not be able to contain it."
Master Burgess made a pulling gesture, implying that Terry Immortal should hand it over. Terry Immortal glanced at his hands, which had not yet grown back... Fortunately, he had now recuperated and was able to control the Immortal Spirit.
On his immortal armor’s left shoulder, a ferocious tiger head was carved. The normally static sculpture ca alive under the excitation of the Immortal Spirit, released an almost indiscernible roar, and spat sothing out.
Master Burgess’s hand shot out like thunder, grabbing it. It was another Siprit Lock!
Pouring his divine power into it, Master Burgess confird in an instant: It’s from the sa source as Master Martin’s! In other words, the person who presented the Siprit Locks is the sa entity.
This made Master Burgess puzzled: soone with the ability to manipulate two Immortal Venerables from behind the scenes, and one of them even being one of the Five Leaders, had to be an Emperor Venerable.
But if it was one of those five, why the secrecy?
Moreover, if it was the sa entity commanding, why divide it into two tasks and hand them to two Ard Immortal Soldiers? Wouldn’t it be more covert and reduce the risk of exposure to choose one to complete everything?
While the first mystery remains unsolved, the second one, Master Burgess glanced at the Broken Blade: It’s because both tasks are dangerous.
If both tasks are failed by one person, dividing them between two people is more secure.
Master Burgess, holding the Siprit Lock in his hand, slowly approached the Broken Blade. Terry Immortal didn’t stop him. Although he was prepared to be forced into betraying, if he could not do so, all the better. If Master Burgess was absorbed by the Broken Blade and then consud completely, he would be free.
Naturally, Master Burgess was cautious. The Broken Blade remained as still as a mont ago when the demon seed to swallow Terry Immortal. They seed to be in completely different states. As if to say, "It was all him who forced , I’m actually the victim. If I’m not violated, I won’t beco like that."
"I’m just an innocent little knife!"
Of course, Master Burgess wouldn’t be deceived, and in fact, he’d already figured out how to deal with it from the mont he saw the Broken Blade.
However, what Master Burgess showed was completely opposite. He seed to truly believe the Broken Blade, displaying a keen interest and intention to communicate with it.
When Master Burgess reached a distance where the Broken Blade was "within arm’s reach" — both sides simultaneously tore off their harmless masks and took bold actions!
Visible energy vortexes appeared around the Broken Blade, releasing an incredibly powerful suction force; the ground was covered with spider web-like Fissures caused by it, and a dense red-light spirit energy hovered above them and clung to Master Burgess’ feet.
Master Burgess, on the other hand, opened up his Mini-world, simultaneously enveloping himself in an illusion.
Terry Immortal in the back was full of praise for these two cunning figures: a thousand-year-old Fox eting an eight-hundred-year-old Weasel, truly a match of wits!
But he didn’t see what happened next clearly. He only heard the sound of a massive wave. Master Burgess’s illusion obstructed everything. By the ti Master Burgess put away his Mini-world, Terry Immortal was taken aback - the Broken Blade on the shattered ground had disappeared!
But Master Burgess’s hand was still holding the Siprit Lock.
Master Burgess hadn’t used the Siprit Lock to contain the Broken Blade. He was rely a being of the Lower Realm, and this Broken Blade made even the Immortal Venerable shrink back, especially preparing a special storage Artifact. Terry Immortal looked deeply at Master Burgess and refrained from asking about the Broken Blade’s whereabouts. At the sa ti, he completely dispelled the idea of breaking away from the "Demon Thought Stabilizing Minds" and breaking free from the other’s control.
This person was certainly not a simple Lower-Realm avatar. The existence behind him was likely an Emperor Venerable. The "Demon Thought Stabilizing Minds" he had laid was certainly not simple. If he attempted to break the spell or told Master Craig, he would imdiately suffer terrifying torture.
