After the Heavenly Editing Brush was lost, one had to take matters into their own hands. Even for a Master Burgess, it’s not easy to change the fundantal rules of a world.
For example, at the levels of Immortal Venerables, Emperor Venerables, a single thought could destroy a Lower Realm. But modification is another concept, requiring a consideration of whether the input and output are worthwhile.
That Heavenly Editing Brush was under Emperor Arctic’s control at the ti. But it was borrowed by Order Count Immortal King from Emperor Donahue’s faction. He had his sights set on a world and applied to use the Heavenly Editing Brush, waiting in line for one hundred years. At that ti, Order Count Immortal King happened to have an errand to the Three Circles Immortal Domain, so he brought the Heavenly Editing Brush with him, planning to transform that world after handling the matters in the Three Circles Immortal Domain.
Sohow, in the supposed safety of the Three Circles Immortal Domain, both the person and the brush rolled into the Demon Cloud Abyss!
Since then, Order Count Immortal King and the Heavenly Editing Brush disappeared together.
Emperor Arctic and Emperor Donahue, who were directly responsible, sent multiple capable subordinates to find the Heavenly Editing Brush. For this matter, a total of one Immortal Venerable, three Immortal Kings, and at least fifteen Immortal Generals entered the Demon Cloud Abyss.
None of them ca out. It was about ti for the Emperor Venerables to take action themselves, but Emperor Arctic and Emperor Donahue remained motionless. Who dared "suggest" that the two Emperor Venerables personally take action? No one even dared to discuss privately whether the two Emperor Venerables were afraid...
The matter eventually died down. Later, it was discovered that the other three Emperor Venerables had received so behind-the-scenes compensation.
It was also around that ti that the various factions began to seriously warn their Immortal Descendants not to enter such dangerous places when they entered the Three Circles Immortal Domain for training.
Other dangerous places may not be as dangerous as Demon Cloud Abyss, but what if?
After Ashbur’s explanation, Master Sun finally understood. The Heavenly Editing Brush was not only very important, but it was also related to Emperor Arctic and Emperor Donahue. If he could find it, Master Sun’s father, Master Joseph, would have made great contributions in front of Emperor Arctic, and it would be possible to dishonor Emperor Donahue’s face.
However, Master Sun once again urged, "Your Majesty, please be cautious! This is a life-risking gamble, and it is almost certainly a losing one." But Ashbur stubbornly shook his head, the resolute radiance shining from his deeply recessed eyes: "This is my only way of redemption! I don’t want to go back so dejectedly!"
After a pause, he continued, "Moreover, I have thought it through. This matter has a significant impact on my father. My father is my only reliance. If he falls from grace because of this, even if I return to the Upper Realm, I won’t achieve anything in this life. What’s the point? I am doing this for myself too!"
Master Sun sighed inwardly and shook his head. This spoiled son of an Immortal King was too naive.
Since he couldn’t persuade Ashbur, Master Sun didn’t bother to say more. He wasn’t willing to use his rare split body to accompany him on this death-fated journey. Once Ashbur entered the Demon Cloud Abyss, he would change his appearance and seek a new life elsewhere!
Ashbur, drunk, spoke with Master Sun for so long that he was already exhausted. He curled up on the soft couch in Master Sun’s room, resting his head on his arm and closing his eyes, mumbling, "Master, you are my confidant, and I trust only you to help with this matter. Let sleep for a while, and after waking up, we will set off."
As Master Sun was about to leave, the almost asleep Ashbur mumbled, "So people in the Upper Realm speculate that the loss of the Heavenly Editing Brush is related to the Heavenly Track Reversal in the Eight Desolations World. I don’t know how they co up with it, as the two have no connection at all..."
A thunderbolt rang in Master Sun’s mind, and his departing foot was withdrawn!
"The Heavenly Editing Brush changes the rules, and the Heavenly Track Reversal in the Eight Desolations World is the collapse of the world’s basic rules... Is there no connection? It’s highly possible!"
"The collapse of a world’s rules should accompany the collapse of the world. But although the Eight Desolations World experienced a great catastrophe, it did not completely collapse. Why? Because the Heavenly Editing Brush changed the rules and repaired them afterward!"
"I’ve always been wondering how the Heavenly Track Reversal was triggered. Could it really be...the Heavenly Editing Brush?!"
Master Sun glanced at Ashbur, who was already snoring, and realized he had to accompany him to the Demon Cloud Abyss.
Master Sun’s thoughts raced: If he could really find the Heavenly Editing Brush, Ashbur would accomplish a great deed, fulfilling his promise to take Master Sun to the Upper Realm. In the Upper Realm, Ashbur would still be his confidant, by then qualified to access Master Joseph’s most important secrets... It seed to be a good choice. With careful planning, Master Sun could very likely strike out from Master Joseph’s side and obtain the clues to the Amos’s Palace Immortal Domain.
The possibility of finding clues with General Saxon and King Monroe was still unknown. It was only prudent to take action on this side as well.
But the extrely dangerous Demon Cloud Abyss was not easy to leave alive.
Well, whether or not he could find the Heavenly Editing Brush was important, but not the key factor. As long as Ashbur could prove he had entered the Demon Cloud Abyss and co out alive, Master Joseph would instantly forgive and prioritize his training.
Master Sun nodded slightly, and the difficulty of the task seed to have decreased quite a bit. But... it was still a hellish difficulty. Lost in thought, Master Sun sat by the window, guarding the sleeping Ashbur like a loyal subordinate.
