…
Owen Bertram and the others were very cautious.
The mont the bubble burst, they all clearly felt the power of the space shifting.
Void energy flowed before them, all sorts of distant and illusory radiance flickered, and as soon as everything stabilized again, they found themselves standing on the closest layer of the Tail Demise Palace Ruins to the ground.
Looking down from here, one could clearly see the defeated Bear Demon lying in a sea of grass, obediently eating.
Little Princess clapped her hands and laughed, “I told you, my mount is very understanding and obedient.”
However, Owen Bertram was observing the Tail Demise Palace Ruins before them and then shook his head slightly, “There shouldn’t be an Ancient Annihilation Domain here.” With layers of void space overlapping in the Tail Demise Palace, even Owen Bertram could not see through it with his Void Mastery for the ti being.
If the Ancient Annihilation Domain were to open here, it would likely trigger a void collapse, possibly destroying the Domain directly.
“What on earth is Jas risking his life to co here for?”
National Master took cautious steps, probing the surrounding void with her Divine Powers as she walked.
She arrived at a collapsed low wall and said after passing it, “Co over and have a look.”
Behind the low wall was a thin layer of dust, with traces of collection on it.
Owen Bertram and Princess Alia moved over, “Was it done by Jas?”
All three of them dared not make rash moves.
The seemingly nonexistent wicked power lingered over the “dust,” giving them a strong sense of fear from the depths of their souls.
“This is…”National Master carefully felt it, “Divine Ashes!
The special Treasure Material left behind after the extinction of Divine Fire in legends.
It cannot be ranked, and the Divine Ashes left behind by different deities have different strangeness.”
The three of them wanted to figure out the strangeness of these “Divine Ashes” but did not dare to collect them.
Once contaminated, it might be difficult to shake off for a lifeti, even sticking to one’s soul and being unable to get rid of it in future reincarnations!
“Jas must have made thorough preparations to dare to enter here to collect Divine Ashes.” Owen Bertram looked down along the low wall: In this layer of ruins, space seed to be constantly changing.
When Owen Bertram first stood here, there was a pile of broken bricks, a shrubbery, and several fallen pillars on the ground.
Looking at it now, the shrubbery had regained its vitality, each leaf was verdant, and there were even a few miraculous flowers blooming, emitting a refreshing fragrance that penetrated the heart.
The pillars had disappeared and were replaced by a small mound.
A piece of soil on top had been dug out.
“Also done by Jas?” The three exchanged glances, and National Master said, “I’ll go first, follow closely behind and be very careful of sudden changes in the void.”
But before they could move, the space up ahead changed again.
The mound and shrubbery both vanished, and the pile of broken bricks turned into a tattered clay Divine Statue!
The statue only had half a face left with odd lines sketched on the cheek, like tattoos.
Its only remaining eye emitted a red beam that suddenly condensed into a single powerful ray, shooting towards Owen Bertram and the others!
Caught off guard, the two humans and one demon didn’t have ti to defend themselves before the red beam hit a certain spot in the void.
With a strange sound, the void expanded and exploded.
A man in a yellow robe and a feathered crown that resembled an ancient deity fell out, but his pointy mouth and monkey cheeks seed rather odd.
It was unclear if he was blind or not, as his eye was covered in a milky white layer of cornea.
“Jas!” Little Princess couldn’t help but call out.
The man seed to be in a different ti and space, not hearing her at all.
With a serious expression, he raised the half torch in his hand, aid at the Divine Statue.
Layers of Divine Light spread out from the torch, forming five layers of protection outside his body.
The red light shot from the statue’s eyes was blocked by this protection, and the two fiercely consud each other, emitting fireworks-like fragnts in all directions.
It seed that Jas sensed the three “behind” him, and turned his head to take a quick glance, but had no ti to react- he and the statue disappeared together into the void!
However, the low wall beside them suddenly grew on its own.
With alternating light and shadow, they found themselves in a magnificent Divine Temple.
A row of “Divine Statues” drifted by, each surrounded by their own attendants and guards, each looking suprely majestic.
Suddenly, one of the ancient wooden statues stiffly turned its head.
Although its face seed sowhat exaggerated and funny, the atmosphere made it exude a great, sinister fear.
The statue pointed at Little Princess, and from among its attendants floated over a strange giant egg.
The eggshell was painted with a crude, ancient brownish-yellow pignt that ford a face, but it was hard to tell if it was a ghost or a beast!
The giant egg floated closer and closer, and the three of them finally confird that the egg was overlapping with their own space.
Little Princess released her Star Tethering Plate, but found that lightning flashed continuously on this treasure, seemingly interfered with by so unknown force which blocked its ability to infer or give predictions.
Light flashed in Little Princess’ eyes as the Flying Sword and the treasure comb flew out together, and she also held the fourth treasure in her hand.
