People outside the Secret Realm had no way of knowing the circumstances inside, but as one disciple after another was transported out, the looks on many people’s faces grew grimr.
It seed this ti the Secret Realm was even harder than the last ti it had opened.
Those people watched their disciples being sent out, and their faces grew grim as they rushed forward to inquire about the situation.
Not asking would have been better. It was only upon inquiring that they learned of the changes within the Secret Realm.
Various Demonic Creatures appeared, and so disciples didn’t even have the chance to be transported before they t their tragic deaths.
"Master, Senior Brother, he’s dead! He died right in front of !"
"Sobbing, I’m so sorry, Junior Sister. I could have taken her with , but I really couldn’t deal with the Demonic Creatures inside."
"We were near a volcano when, out of nowhere, the volcanic ash surged out as if it had a life of its own."
"They’re all dead! My Junior Brothers and Sisters are all dead! It’s all my fault!"
...
These greenhouse flowers, who were usually so haughty, had never seen such brutal scenes as those in the Secret Realm and didn’t even have a chance to react.
Just one encounter, and everyone was killed without even a chance to fight back.
Even the disciples and clansn from the major forces and grand clans suffered nurous casualties and injuries.
And this was only the beginning of entering the Secret Realm.
The older generation of Cultivators knew about the harshness of This Secret Realm, as many of them had survived and walked out of it in the past.
Seeing the naïveté of their disciples, they couldn’t help but sigh inwardly.
To them, the current situation was already considered good.
At least so disciples had made it out alive.
Back in their day, they had faced far greater cruelty, with many a disciple turning on their own Junior Brothers and Sisters just to survive.
Of course, that was just a dark side of the past. Now, the focus had to be on these disciples.
「Inside the Secret Realm.」
Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life was sowhat luckier. He hadn’t encountered any Demonic Creatures or strange beings on his way and smoothly t up with Iron-blooded War Hero.
Using their Communication Rings, they walked towards the nearest mountain range, then asked for more specific directions regarding the location, and the two quickly gathered.
Compared to Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life’s safe arrival, Iron-blooded War Hero looked much worse for wear.
At this mont, Iron-blooded War Hero was covered in bloodstains, and there was a particularly glaring, deep wound on his arm, as if it had been sliced by sothing sharp.
"Brother Tie Xue, what happened to you?" Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life asked with concern.
Iron-blooded War Hero sighed, sitting down under a tree. "Don’t even ask. I ran into a bunch of creatures that looked like goblins and nearly bit the dust."
As he spoke, he couldn’t help but glance at Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life. This guy is way too clean, isn’t he?
"What about you? Did you encounter anything?" Iron-blooded War Hero asked while resting.
Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life scratched his head and said, "I don’t think I ran into anything. I just walked all this way, though I did see quite a few corpses of the Sea Race and Demon Race."
AHEM!
Hearing this made Iron-blooded War Hero feel quite uneasy.
He had fought desperately to survive and had arrived here with serious injuries, yet Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life hadn’t encountered anything.
Or perhaps he did encounter sothing, but the Sea Race and Demon Race got to them first. This luck truly rivaled the Abbess’s!
As the two were talking, a figure suddenly tumbled out of the bushes behind them and collapsed heavily onto the ground.
Half-Leaf?!
Recognizing the fallen person, Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life hurried forward to help them up.
If Iron-blooded War Hero was seriously injured, then Half-Leaf was hanging onto life by a thread. There was a gaping hole torn through their abdon, the wound grotesquely mangled and horrifying to look at.
Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life quickly fed them a Blood Recovery Pill, then helped them lean against Iron-blooded War Hero.
"I finally found you guys. This ghostly place really isn’t for solo fights; I was nearly done for here."
Half-Leaf panted, then continued, "I don’t know which idiot angered a stone giant as tall as a small hill. One stomp and a great many of them died—it was horrific! I got hit hard by a punch and flew all the way from there into this forest.
I thought the danger was over, but then a Unicorn appeared in the woods. I was already badly injured and couldn’t fight back. The Unicorn gored right through the stomach! Be careful, that thing is still trailing behind ."
As soon as these words fell, the bushes trembled violently. Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life quickly stood in front of the other two, ford hand seals, and cast Wood Escape to create a Small Wooden House, sheltering them.
It was at this precise mont that a Unicorn erged. Its body was oozing pus, completely devoid of fur, with large patches of raw flesh and veins exposed.
This Unicorn sowhat resembled a horse, though it was smaller in stature, and a twisted horn grew from its forehead.
The instant this Demonic Creature appeared, it fixed its gaze on Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life.
It had followed Half-Leaf here and naturally sensed Half-Leaf’s presence inside the Small Wooden House.
"Fire Release - Phoenix Fire!"
Half Dream, Half Wake, Half Life snapped back to his senses and imdiately unleashed Fire Escape.
As the only player who practiced Five-Elent Cultivation, his Power was evident to all.
