A child had been born!

Cyrillote’s jaw dropped.

It was the first ti I’d seen such an expression on him.

He looked utterly dumbfounded, as if witnessing the world turn upside down.

“Who’s been born?”

Who could possibly have been born to shock soone as composed and unflappable as Cyrillote into freezing like that?

I had to figure out who lived in that house.

Just as I took a step toward the house, my surroundings shifted abruptly.

What?

The scenery had changed again.

Did I just move to another point in ti?

I blinked several tis, trying to make sense of it.

In the distance, I saw Cyrillote again.

It seed I was moving through events from his past. There was no other explanation for why Cyrillote kept appearing.

He stood outside the window of the house where the baby’s cry had co from, leaning slightly against the fra, as if trying to peek inside without being noticed.

Of course. Even here, he acts like a stalker.

Who lives in that house? And who’s the baby?

I had a suspicion, but it wasn’t certain yet.

Clicking my tongue, I walked boldly toward the house.

There was no point in hiding; no one here could see anyway. I might as well take a good look.

Ignoring Cyrillote, who was trying to conceal himself, I walked straight up to the window and peered inside.

The interior was modest, matching the rustic exterior. Yet, it was decorated with dried flowers and linen, giving the space a warm, loving atmosphere.

The house exuded an air of abundance and comfort.

Sunlight stread gently through the wide windows, casting a soft glow.

As I casually turned my head, I froze in shock.

“Dad?”

Golden hair that glead like sunlight and vibrant green eyes as lush as new leaves.

A tall, elegant figure with a face so perfect it was unforgettable.

It was my father.

I recognized him instantly.

But there was sothing different about him.

The father I rembered was a mature man who had raised a child, but the one beyond the window was a fresh-faced youth.

Even though he’s my dad… wow, he was really sothing when he was younger.

I couldn’t help but admire him anew.

Just then, my father turned and smiled softly at soone.

His smile, so radiant, seed to brighten the entire room.

Who is he smiling at?

Following his gaze, I turned my head—and my breath caught.

The person entering my view seed to bring light with them.

Silky silver hair cascaded down her back like spun moonlight.

An angel? No, a goddess, perhaps?

I inhaled sharply.

The woman smiled at my father, her eyes curving with warmth. Her pink irises sparkled like candy, exuding a sweetness impossible to ignore.

Her gentle gaze, elegant nose, and radiance made her seem like the embodint of happiness.

“….”

For a mont, I couldn’t think at all, as if ti had stopped.

Just looking at her erased every other thought from my mind.

In her arms, she cradled a small bundle.

My father bead as he addressed her.

“You’re up? Our little princess is still dreaming, isn’t she?”

As he spoke, his eyes drifted toward the bundle she held, his gaze overflowing with love.

The woman adjusted the swaddling cloth slightly, showing its contents to my father.

“Isn’t she so beautiful, even while sleeping? She looks just like an angel.”

“Co here, my little princess. Your mother needs her rest.”

Smiling broadly, my father took the bundle from her arms.

He cradled the baby gently, rocking her like she was a precious boat on a calm sea.

From where I stood, I could catch glimpses of the baby’s face.

A tiny, round head crowned with golden hair that glead like threads of sunlight.

Her delicate, rosy cheeks seed impossibly soft, and her tiny lips puckered and moved as if she were suckling in her dreams.

Unbelievable.

“Could that… be ?”

My father didn’t have any other children, so it had to be.

A strange wave of emotion swept over .

The baby was so tiny, so new to the world that just seeing her breathe felt like witnessing a miracle.

But what struck most was that even as a newborn, her features resembled my own.

Just then, I felt soone sidle up beside , and I nearly jumped out of my skin.

Turning, I found Cyrillote pressing his face against the window, peering inside.

His pitch-black eyes were wide and unblinking, shimring with curiosity and awe.

Sparkle, sparkle.

Cyrillote’s eyes shimred, glinting with an almost restless curiosity.

In those dark pupils, only the newborn baby reflected brightly.

Watching him marvel as though ti had stopped, I couldn’t help but scoff internally.

Have you never seen a human baby before, you damn demon?

Just then, the woman’s voice filled the air.

“This child must be a child of God. I followed the oracle of Ammas, and there you were, Lloyd. So this child is a gift from the heavens.”

Her voice was so gentle and serene, it was like nothing I had ever heard before.

“…Do you think soone like deserves to be her father? Soone with no mories, who doesn’t even know who he is?”

My father’s face clouded with worry.

He was likely troubled by the idea of raising a child while knowing nothing about his own identity.

“Of course, you do. We were brought together to have this child. So don’t beat yourself up about not having mories, Lloyd. Thanks to that, we were able to et. Besides, you have everything but your mories. You’re perfect otherwise. Even if your mind doesn’t rember, your body knows. You’re strong, you fight well, you cook well, you’re skilled with instrunts, and you even know ancient languages. Most importantly, you love . eting you has made so happy.”

The woman looked up at my father with a face full of pure, uncontainable joy.

She was completely imrsed in her love for him, and anyone who saw her would know she was utterly smitten.

The sunlight pouring through the window seed even brighter, dazzling against their love.

It wasn’t just love.

It was sothing deeper and more expansive—an overwhelming love that filled the room.

My father smiled as if he felt the sa.

“You’re right. What does it matter if I have no mories? There’s no way I could be so evil demon. From now on, I’ll devote myself entirely to you and our child, Diana. I’ll protect you both for the rest of my life. Even if my mories never return, it won’t matter. In fact, it’s probably better that I don’t rember. The only things I need to know for the rest of my life are you and our child.”

The woman laughed softly at his tender words.

“In that case, let’s finally decide on a na for her today. No more putting it off.”

“Sure. Whatever na you choose, Diana, I’ll love it.”

“Hmm. Then let’s go with the na you suggested earlier. I think it’s perfect.”

“…Crescent.”

The woman nodded once, signaling her agreent.

That was it.

My father’s voice softened as he spoke again.

“Diana, I don’t rember anything, but for so reason, the image of a crescent moon lingers in my mind. Maybe it’s sothing I used to see often.”

“?”

Wait.

I watched silently, my eyes widening in realization.

Isn’t that the crimson crescent moon of the Demon Realm?

It’s literally the symbol of the Demon Realm.

The woman smiled warmly.

“Then let’s na her Crescent Moon Delight. It’s the one mory you have, so it must be precious to you.”

“Alright.”

My parents smiled at each other, their gazes brimming with love and affection.

It was the mont my na was given for the first ti.

It was a touching scene, but I was utterly dumbfounded.

That’s the symbol of the Demon Realm, Mom and Dad….

How can you be so sentintal about sothing you don’t even understand?!

I was at a loss for words.

Just then, my father and the woman froze mid-motion, their smiles frozen in place as though ti itself had stopped.

Even the baby, who had been softly smacking her lips in her sleep, ceased all movent.
