Her eyes turned red as tears swelled up.

Xia Yuya stood up and ran to et Feng Shihan holding his hand.
"I’m so sorry I didn’t know what to do, I was a young woman who didn’t have the power to fight herself and her children. I didn’t know I thought your grandfather would protect you both, I’m so sorry I’ve failed as a mother, the last 23 years I’ve stayed up late wondering if you have eaten or if you both were okay, I wondered if there was soone kissing you good night, I’m sorry I’m wasn’t strong enough to protect you, I’m sorry I missed your childhood. I promised you I’d co back I’m so sorry it took 23 years to co back. I didn’t get to see my little boys run around my feet..."
Feng Shihan yanked his hand off and pulled Xia Yuya into a tight hug.
"All I wanted was my mother back, you were the only one who had us as everything in their eyes, you were the only one who would kiss us goodnight, you would stand at the door when I go to school and whenever I ca back I would always see you at the door. You spoilt us to bits and allowed us to do whatever we wanted. All I wanted was for to co back, why did you take so long.."
Xia Yuya wept bitterly she didn’t know how much her children had suffered she thought at least their grandfather would protect them but she thought wrong.
"Thank you for taking care of your brother, he has grown to be a charming young man, I also want to thank uncle wang and auntie Gu for taking care of you, you’ve grown into a charming young man as well."
Xia Yuya walked to Feng Shiyan placing her hands on both sides of his face.
"I didn’t get the chance to watch you grow, it’s still surprising that my little baby has grown this much. Mum is so proud of you, I watched a lot of your videos on the internet, I am your biggest fan..."
Xia Yuya gave him a kiss on the forehead before walking back to the couch, she had gotten a lot off her chest today, she felt she could start a new life with her sons today.

Rong Shihua flinched when she felt a finger poke her cheeks.

Feng Shiyan went on to admire this new sister of his, it was better for him to accept than to hurt himself overthinking.

Feng Shihan hissed and turned his face away there was still one person missing.
"Auntie Gu where’s my wife?"

Feng Shihan stroked his chin, tomorrow was Yu Long palace opening day he understood she needed to be there for the final preparations of things but he would not allow lateness.

Feng Shihan decided to give this little sister of his so attention.

Feng Shihan looked at Rong Shihua’s face carefully the only thing she took from her father was her eyes other than that. She was a complete copy of their mother.
"Mhm you’re welco to visit whenever you like..."
Feng Shihan muttered as he walked upstairs, a part of him still found it hard to believe.
Tang Xue i stepped out of the car, she rushed back to the capital when she received a call from butler Wang.
She opened her door, carrying a pink box in her hand.
"Auntie Gu I’m ho.."
Tang Xue i kicker off her heels and wore her indoor slippers, she looked up only to see so many eyes on her.
"Welco ho mum..."
Tang Xue i bowed, she did not need anyone to tell her that this woman she was staring at was Feng Shihan’s mother.
"You must be my son’s wife, I’m Xia Yuya and this is my daughter Rong Shihua.."
Tang Xue i’s widened, she was so cute and her cheeks looked like at buns.

Xia Yuya smiled this was the lovely lady her son had married, she was really beautiful and composed.
"Sister-in-law what you got in that box..."
Tang Xue i held the box tightly, she got them specifically for Feng Shihan and herself. She wasn’t keen on sharing it.
"This is for Shihan, he asked to get it.."
If she said it belonged to Feng Shihan he would definitely let it go.
"Oh..can you save a piece?"
"No but I’d like to give miss Shihua one.."
Tang Xue i walked closer to Rong Shihua, their eyes eting, she opened the box so she could pick the ones she liked.
"Thank you.."
Tang Xue i smiled and nodded, closing the box. She turned to Xia Yuya "Mum I’ll head up real quick and co back.."
"You don’t have to worry we’ll be heading back ho, Shihua needs to rest as she’ll be resuming highschool tomorrow.."
Tang Xue i nodded and waved them goodbye before running upstairs, the cookies were so cute she wanted to show Feng Shihan the mont she got ho.
"Shi..I’m ho.."
Tang Xue i opened the door to see Feng Shihan laying on the bed, she walked closer and sat down beside him.
"Are you happy? Your mum ca back and you even have a little sister, she’s so cute.."
Feng Shihan looked at Tang Xue a i he should be happy but right now he didn’t feel anything, nothing would change even if she had returned.
"I don’t know..."
Tang Xue i sighed bring the box to Feng Shihan’s face.
"Cookies?"
"Yes I had them especially made for us, mine is with sugar and yours is little to no sugar. It’s had a panda icing aren’t they so cute.."
Feng Shihan nodded and sat up opening his mouth, Tang Xue i understood the assignnt and placed a cookie inside his mouth.

"Is it good?"
Feng Shihan nodded taste less that was what it was but because of his gastritis he guessed it was okay.
"I was craving cookies, they slled so nice I had to get one for myself.."
"You can have it I’m not much of a sweet tooth..."
"But I’ve seed to lost my appetite for cookies, I want to eat udon noodles and big spicy shrimps..."
"Ah my little pig is placing her orders, I will send them to the chef as soon as possible."
