Qin Mingyue thought to herself, Tang Xue i quickly cut the conversation short and focused on the Feng Shihan who had sighed twice now.

Grasping her chin, gently yet firmly, he whispered into her ear, "Don’t feign ignorance, deep down we both know whose territory this is." His sultry voice dripped with honey.
Shrugging indifferently, she challenged him further. "Is this how all ’n of power’ behave? Trying to dominate those weaker than them"
Leaning closer till their breath mingled between them she whispered seductively yet defiantly. "Try harder next ti darling because right now...you barely make a dent in my armor of self-respect!"
Feng Shihan chuckled, the luck she had, was that he held the steering wheel or he would have taken her, then and there.

Tang Xue i eyes narrowed as but she did not say anything, she had a feeling he was going to say sothing brazen.

The waiters nodded and went to continue their jobs, waiting for this awe grasping couple to arrive.
Well, the wait was not long.
As the once noisy hall, due to incessant chatting, suddenly fell quiet, Ju Jing chuckled inwardly, the victims had arrived.
Feng Shihan walked into the hall, wearing a black three piece suite, his hair sleek back and his usual gold rimd spectacles on his face, as usual the most handso bachelor in the capital had arrived.
But what captured their attention was the stunning woman beside him, who exuding elegance and sophistication as she gracefully entered the hall, wearing a white sequin gown that caught the eyes of everyone with its dazzling shimr under the warm glow of chandeliers. The delicate fabric covered her form perfectly, reflecting light in srizing patterns that dance upon her body. The slit on the side accentuates her long, toned legs, revealing just enough mystery to leave guests intrigued yet wanting more.
Her heels click softly against the marble floor as she walked confidently along side Feng Shihan towards the crowd.
The cascading curls framing her face were adorned with feathers delicately place onto them to add a touch of whimsical flare to the outfit.
Ju Jing clenched at fist, her hatred for Tang Xue i increased seeing just how beautiful she really co, if she stood beside her, she would look like a toad, instead of a swan, she had worked so hard to pull off.
"It’s only the beginning Tang Xue i, I’m going to destroy your reputation, and then I’m going to destroy your face, no man is ever going to want you, when I’m through with you.."
Ju Jing took a last sip of wine and blended through the crowd, seemingly wanting to find Du Xuan, who had disappeared from her side, for a while now.
The waiter knew their jobs and went to offer wine to Feng Shihan and Tang Xue i, there was a toast required, when the commissioner would co on stage, so she couldn’t be able to avoid drinking it.
"Sir.."
The waiter bowed and placed the tray on Feng Shihan’s side, waiting for him to pick the champagne glass.
Feng Shihan nodded and took the glass, the waiter bowed and turned to Tang Xue i, she smiled and picked up the champagne glass.
Feng Shihan swirled the glass around, he wasn’t interested in drinking, that’s why he brought Tang Xue i here, his plus one’s where the ones who drank his wine for him.
"Tang Xue i? What are you doing here.."
Du Xuan annoyedly stood in front of Tang Xue i, was she stalking him now, how did she even know there was a business event sowhere, he looked a the man beside her and his expression beca even uglier.
Of course, now he wasn’t surprised, Feng Shihan was the one who brought her, here to stalk him.
"Don’t you feel tired asking such stupid questions. She’s here with , don’t for one second, dare to think she’s here to see you."
Feng Shihan muttered slowly, while Du Xuan hissed, he knew Tang Xue i, she ever liked to attend such functions, so why would she want to co here all of a sudden.
That’s because she knew he was going to be here. "Give up on ! Ju Jing and I are getting engaged next month.."
Tang Xue i chuckled and took a sip of the wine, she looked at Du Xuan with an obvious amusent.
"Give up on you? I’m here in this business event with a real man, I did not co here to see trash like you. You should have minded your business or it would make think, you still have feelings for .."

"Then let’s see each as strangers now.."
Tang Xue i finished the wine and dragged Feng Shihan away, no one noticed the smiling Ju Jing, who was watching from afar.
