"He’s not dead...he’s in the military right now and he won’t be back until the babies are born im sure.."
Dr. Lin smiled what man would want a leave a woman like her.
"Well this brings our session to an end.."
Tang Xue i smiled as she stood up she felt comfortable and less tense when she was with Dr. Lin perhaps she could change her doctor from Dr. Jeong to Dr. Lin.
"Thank you..."
Tang Xue i held the pictures which were now placed in a brown file as they left the room.
"All done?"
Dr. Jeong stood up along with An Yu, Dr. Lin nodded and whispered into his ears before walking away.
Tang Xue i expression slowly dampen as she opened her mouth.
"Dr. Jeong is my father by any chance in this hospital?"
Jeong Da Ren nodded and asked them to follow him.
Tang Xue i’s father’s case was a tricky one, right now the only thing science could do was keep him alive.
"I’m afraid your father’s condition has taken a turn for the worse."
Tang Xue i hands tightened as she braced herself for the worst.
"What do you an? Is he...?"
Dr. Jeong took a deep breath. "Your father is in a vegetative state. He’s not responding to stimuli and his brain activity is minimal."
The words hung in the air like a heavy mist, suffocating Tang Xue i’s hope.
Jeong Da Ren’s expression was somber as they walked towards the ward room. "The car accident had caused significant damage to his brain, for so reason there was a delay in bringing him to the hospital. The accident happened at 2pm from what we saw from the surveillance cara and then he was brought to the hospital at 4pm. He was already in a coma when he got here."
Dr. Jeong paused and continued "He suffered a diffuse axonal injury, which affected the connections between his brain cells. We’ve done everything we can, but...I’m afraid only God can help him now."
Tang Xue i eyes watered as she lowered her head. She rembered the sound of her father’s laughter, the way he used to tease her about her cooking.
She rembered the way he smiled when he read books or whenever her mother was around.
"What can....we do?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
Jeong Da Ren’s face was sympathetic. "We’ll continue to monitor his condition, and provide the best care possible. But you’ll have to prepare yourself for the possibility that your father may not recover."
The words felt like a punch to Tang Xue i’s gut.
Jeong Da Ren opened the door and Tang Xue i imdiately broke down.
"i i..you’re here?.."
Su Huiying expression was calm but her eyes were red and cracked.
"How long have you been crying?.."
Tang Xue i walked to her mother and wiped the tears away from her mother’s face.
"I’m not crying anymore and you shouldn’t. Your father...he’ll co back to us.."
Su Huiying blinked as she took a good look at Tang Xue i.
"Seems like you have a lot to tell .."

"Da Ren and the handso young lad can you excuse us for a minute.."
Jeong Da Ren nodded and left the room with An Yu.
"They’re going to have a long talk, you can wait for them at the lounge or you co with to my office?"
An Yu didn’t say anything and walked to the lounge, Jeong Da Ren lips twitched as he walked to his office.
She looked down at her father’s expressionless and lifeless looking face,her heart heavy with grief.
"Please," she whispered, her voice cracking. "Please co back to , Dad."
Su Huiying sat down on the bed as she stroked Tang Zijun’s face softly.
"He’ll co back to us..don’t worry. So let’s have a mother and daughter talk...tell Mum what has been going on in your life recently.."
Tang Xue i smiled she guessed she should tell her mother about all the good things that had happened to her.
"I got married mum and we’re having kids...twins!"
"Well this is certainly so big news, Can can also called the other day telling was also pregnant.."

"What! When, she didn’t tell .."
Tang Xue i sighed neither of them had told each other they were pregnant.
It had always skipped her mind to tell Tang Can was pregnant.
"Mhm she said the father was a man nad He Xui Cai, they would be dropping by this weekend. You can also bring your husband along.."

"Well...he’s currently not available.."
Tang Xue i’s eyes widened did he mother just say He Xui Cai not in a million years would she have thought...
And he told Feng Shihan in her presence he was about to be a father.
"Did he divorce you! Does he have mistress sowhere!"
"Mum, Mum..calm down he got called to the military, he won’t be back for a couple of months..."
Su Huiying smiled as she rembered the tis Tang Zijun was in the military.
"You know..sa thing happened to as well, your father suddenly got called to the military I was 6 months pregnant at the ti and guess when he ca back? You were already 6 months old when your father returned. He was gone for 10 whole months.."
"A part of thought he would never co back, I forgot I had a kid when I saw him luckily butler Zhang was there to watch over you. Even at that the first person he wanted to was you, you cried and resisted but your father kept hugging you and eventually you ca to love him too. " Zijun can you believe your little girl belongs to another man now.."
Su Huiying smiled gently the kids had grown they were no longer theirs to protect.
"Tell mum your husband’s na.."
"Feng Shihan.."
Su Huiying’s looked a bit surprised when she heard Feng Shihan’s na.
"You two really hit it off after the engagent huh..."
Su Huiying stretched her palm and smiled gently at Tang Xue i.
"I know you must be worried but fret not both your father and your husband will co back to you. And mum will be by yourside every step of the way.."
Tang Xue i smiled and nodded she believed they would both co back to her.
"You should head ho and get so rest..I’ll take care of your father.."
Su Huiying got up and urged Tang Xue i to go ho.
"Alright...I’ll send so food to you, you’re looking a bit slim.."
Su Huiying smiled and nodded walking her to the door.
"That young man?"
"He’s my bodyguard.."
An Yu stood up when he heard the door open.
He bowed at Su Huiyin who smiled at him.
"Thank you for protecting my daughter! Seeing that she’s safe makes worry less.."
An Yu nodded and bowed before leaving with Tang Xue i.
"Get Ken on the phone let’s find those motherfuckers that turned my father into a vegetable.."
Tang Xue i wiped her tears, ti for crying her past...now it was ti to grow so balls.
"Let’s start by doubling the security around the hospital...I don’t want anything to happen to my parents.."
An Yu nodded as they got to the downstairs lobby.
5-6 n standing up imdiately when they saw them.
"Young madam..are you ready to do ho?"
"No I have one last thing before I head ho..let’s head to the company first.."
Song Dae-Ju sat in the car awkwardly this was the first ti he wasn’t manning the wheels.
"You get used to it after a while...I used to drive the boss years old.."
The slim man with a gruff voice chuckled, he understood what it felt like to be a driver and not drive.
"Ken.."
An Yu passed the phone to Tang Xue i who nodded and placed it on speaker.
"Soone sabotage my father and placed him in the hospital. I want you to find them, each and every person that was involved in his accident..."
"Alright, I’ll get to it. I’ll get back to you within the week.."
"Oh can you double the security around the hospital?"
"I’ll dispatch team 4 there today.."
Tang Xue i nodded and ended the call, they could ss with her but she would absolutely not let anyone ss with her family.
