The next morning Tang Xue i woke up feeling rather perkish.
She turned around to see Feng Shihan stroking her hair gently.
"You’re up early"
Feng Shihan smiled and nodded she had been working so had these days so he thought to himself, why not go on a little trip.
"I want to take you sowhere...you, and An Yu..."
"An Yu?"
"You’ll need soone to protect you just in case. Besides it would be fun for him too..."
Tang Xue i nodded not minding that An Yu was coming along with them.
"So where are we going?"
"It’s a surprise, you’ll see. Just take a bath and pack your bags..."
Tang Xue i smiled excitedly she hadn’t gone out of the country in a long ti.
"Alright I’ll go get my things ready.."
Tang Xue i eagerly got out of the bed and then she rembered Ming Beicheng wasn’t around. Who was going to oversee things on her behalf.
"I can’t go...Ming Beicheng hasn’t returned there’s no one to oversee things while I’m gone..."
Feng Shihan nodded he had thought about all these yesterday and decided to have a word with Ming Beicheng.
Luckily for him, he was already in the capital when he called.
"You don’t have to worry about that, I’ve made so arrangents before hand..."
Tang Xue i eyes brightened was he trying to tell her that Ming Beicheng was back.
It wasn’t long when Tang Xue i’s phone vibrated and the sound of her ringtone filled the room.
She walked to the bedside table and smiled when she was the caller.
"Beicheng..."
"Boss I’m back, you don’t have to worry I’ll take care of things here. You can go enjoy yourself, you deserve it.."
Tang Xue i smiled Ming Beicheng was really a life saver what would she do with it him.
"Thank you and can you choose a manager for Luoyun and the others. I promise them they could discuss with their manager about their debut today.."
"You don’t have to worry boss I’ll take care of everything.."
Tang Xue i thanked Ming Beicheng one more ti before ending the call.
"Did you tell him to co back?"
Feng Shihan shook his head but he had helped Ming Beicheng with sothings so he couldn’t need to call Tang Xue i during their three days trip.
"He was already in the capital before I called him, I just helped in making other arrangents while you’ll be gone.."
Tang Xue i smiled at least that was taken care of and she didn’t have to worry anymore.
"I can assure you that where we’re going, you’ll love it.."
Feng Shihan kissed her lips softly before walking out of the room.
He had already given Feng Shiyan and Sun Haoyang instructions on what they needed to do while he was gone.
Tang Xue i happily brought out her suitcase and placed so floral dress, shorts and shirts, pajamas and underwear along with so ergency clothes
As she packed, Tang Xue i’s mind raced with possibilities. Where were they going? What would they do? She couldn’t wait to find out.
After packing her suitcase, Tang Xue i headed to the bathroom to take a refreshing shower. As she stood under the warm water, she let out a contented sigh, her excitent building up inside her.
When she got out from the bathroom, Tang Xue i felt refreshed and guessed wherever she and Feng Shihan were going would probably be sunny.
So she choose to wear a sunset color red floral off shoulder dress that fell just past her knees. She paired it with a black 4 inch heels.
Tang Xue i decided to curl the tips of her hair a bit and french braid it up until her ears and then added clips to pull back her hair, she did the sa thing on the side the other.
It was a refreshing look which went well with her floral dress. She place a dium sized version of the hat she wore yesterday in her bag.
And walked out of the room holding her suitcase.
"ow.."
Tang Xue i smiled and picked lotus from the ground.
"Great news lotus you’re going on a trip with . You haven’t gotten out on a whole, a new environnt would be good to stretch your legs.."
"ow.."
Tang Xue i placed lotus on the ground and grabbed her suitcase while lotus followed behind her.
"Young madam you look stunning...I see you’re excited for your trip.."
Tang Xue i smiled and bowed at Auntie Gu slightly.
"You’re right auntie Gu...I haven’t gone on a trip in a while so I’m very excited.."
Auntie Gu nodded and went to grab so milk for lotus.
"I made a very special breakfast and I avoided fish and cabbage.."
Auntie Gu brought out a tray of food placed the als on the table one by one.
It had Scrambled eggs with truffles, crispy bacon,sauteed mushrooms, toast with avocado and cherry tomatoes, fresh fruit platter with berries and lon, croissants with butter and jam and yogurt parfait with granola and honey.
"Auntie Guuu!! You’ve outdone yourself, this is looks amazing!"
Tang Xue i grabbed her cutlery’s as she smiled, thinking of what she would eat first.
"It slls nice in here...as Auntie Gu made sothing special again.."
Feng Shihan rolled his suitcase beside the Tang Xue i’s and took a sit.
"Where’s An Yu? He doesn’t plan on eating breakfast?"
Tang Xue i eyes widened she had been so carried away seeing these delicious food that she had forgotten about An Yu.
"Sorry for making you wait.."
An Yi held the duffel bag over his shoulder, he pulled out a chair and sat down, placing the duffel bag beside the chair.
"You didn’t make anyone wait...she would have eaten without us anyways.."
"..."
Tang Xue i clicked her tongue, she was the pregnant one here, so she got to eat first.
"Do you want to starve your wife and children by making them wait.." Tang Xue i smiled innocently as she sipped the ginger tea.
"..."
"I’m sure you could wait at least five minutes..."
An Yu didn’t eat much and disappeared from the table as soon as he was done eating.
"What’s his deal?"
Tang Xue i watched An Yu leave and turned to Feng Shihan.
"You haven’t forgiven him..have you?"
Feng Shihan bite the croissant slowly relishing it’s taste before answering Tang Xue i’s question.
"You said I should let him be your bodyguard and that’s what I did. He hasn’t done anything to earn my forgiveness, all he does his apologize. Heh the wound has healed anyways but my anger hasn’t gone away.."
Feng Shihan ate more of the fruits and croissants before pushing everything down with a sip of ginger tea.
"You look beautiful as always my wife.."
Tang Xue i smiled lightly he always told her she was beautiful but he had never once said he loved her. Her eyes lowered not that she had said the sa thing as well.
They were just living peacefully together because they got what they needed from each other.
We’re they actually in love?
"Thank you for breakfast Auntie Gu...it was delicious.."
Tang Xue i stood and grabbed her bag and suitcase.
"ow.."
Tang Xue i patted Lotus lightly before walking out fo the house, lotus following behind her.
Feng Shihan eyed the little ow following behind Tang Xue i.
"The cat cos too?"
".."
"She’s literally like our first child...we’re you expecting to leave her behind.."
Feng Shihan shook his head he would just have to pay extra for a pet carrier.
"Give your suitcase.."
Feng Shihan first reached into Tang Xue i’s bag and took out the hat.
Placing it on her head—"Wouldn’t want your lovely skin to get dark.."
After that he took the suitcases and walked to the car.
Tang Xue i stared at the car for a while..deep in thoughts.
If he didn’t love her then what did he feel for her.
Was it lust? Or because he could sleep better when she was around.
"Xue i..are you okay, you’ve been staring at the car for five minutes now.."
Feng Shihan raised her chin up so she could look into his eyes.
"If there’s sothing bothering you..I’m here to listen, you can tell anything.."
"Feng Shihan do you love ?"
Feng Shihan pursed his lips and his grip on her chin tightened.
"Are you in love with ? Xue i.."
Tang Xue i lips shivered as she found herself voicing out a silent "No"
"Good... we wouldn’t want to get too deep.."
Tang Xue i eyes widened as she took a step back.
They were already expecting kids...how the hell could he say he didn’t want to get too deep.
"What are you saying? What the hell are you saying!"
Feng Shihan grabbed her and pulled her close to him.
"It what it is...just don’t hate too much.."
