Alonna wasn’t a professional prosthetic doctor, nor did she possess any expertise beyond combat and killing.

But she recognized this thing.

Whether it was the design or the details, there was no doubt, this was a brand new Sianweistan spinal operation system fresh off the production line.

At this mont, the computer screen had already finished loading.

In the center of the room, an operating table with limb restraints rose up.

It fully unfolded, presenting a humanoid contour.

The chanical arms that had just descended from the ceiling were now divided into two parts.

So stayed by the operating table, like doctors preparing to wield a scalpel.

The other part gathered by the Sianweistan prosthetic, extending into various precise chanical structures with pointed ends that plugged into corresponding slots.

From ti to ti, blue currents flashed.

The terminal monitor on the side was frantically loading data.

They seed to be making final preparations for debugging.

On several main screens, the simplest and clearest icons inford Alonna:

This thing was a fully automated surgical system targeting this prosthetic limb.

In the center of the screen, there was even a yellow-black triangle symbol.

It constantly flashed, pointing at the block below, which read — Surgical target not detected.

Alonna didn’t understand the current situation.

The various anomalies appearing in the room had exceeded her limit of understanding.

She had lost system control, hadn’t gathered enough dication, and could only repeatedly attempt to contact the outside world in the signal-blocking facility.

John’s critical condition brought her imnse pressure.

The caras on the walls were silent and still.

Infrared rays were like the eyes of spiders lurking in caves.

A few seconds later...

The largest screen closest to Alonna suddenly switched.

It displayed the dications to be used in the entire surgical procedure and the ergencies it could handle.

It included complete rescue asures and ergency programs for low vital signs, emphasizing — this program can repair over two hundred types of fatal injuries, including spinal damage.

Alonna finally moved closer.

She had experienced Sianweistan surgeries more than once.

Though the environnt and process were different, there were a few key pieces of information in the program introduction before her that she could understand.

John was unaware of what was happening outside.

He felt the severe pain spreading to his brain, as if a scorching iron bar had been shoved inside.

Every organ and part of his body was desperately keeping him alive, at the cost of indescribable pain and the continuous ebb and flow on the brink of death.

Alonna carefully picked up his broken body, slowly walked toward the operating table, and seed to have sothing sticky, warm, and soft slip off and touch her body.

She held her breath, trying hard to empty her mind, not thinking about whether those were pieces of tissue or viscera slipping out of his abdon.

John was placed on the operating table.

Several chanical arms helped adjust his posture and fixed his limbs with tal rings equipped with injectors.

Alonna stepped out of the disinfection area, following the red warning line at her feet.

Dense gases surged out.

An acrid sll perated through the cold mist.

The machine scanned John’s body from top to bottom, sharp knives cutting away all his clothing, and at the sa ti, several thin needles respectively injected various dications into his body.

The operating table began to contract.

The floor of the room opened from the center.

John, along with the entire surgical fra, sank into the viscous liquid located directly below the floor.

Gurgle...

The cushioning liquid enveloped his entire body.

A specially designed respirator was inserted along his throat, and his entire head was rapidly filled with fine wires.

The data slot was also connected to the surgical system.

[Ergency Protocol Ninety-seven, Silence.]

The last text John could read before losing consciousness flashed before him.

Other than that...

Black Light had no reaction during the data connection process.

The color in the pool instantly beca dense.

Blood was diffusing.

Beside Alonna, she frowned deeply.

John’s back was sliced open by a sharp tal knife, with several slender chanical arms simultaneously adhering to his ivory-white bones.

The Sianweistan prosthetic on the wall also fell back and disappeared, erging below the pool along an unknown conveyor belt and slowly attaching to John’s back.

Under the action of several chanical arms, John’s original spine was severed into several sections and slowly removed from his body in a fixed sequence.

The life-support device locked onto John’s nerves and connected them to the new prosthetic.

Igdrasir protected John’s heart, which was crucial for his survival through fierce battles thus far.

Nurous instrunts surged into the pool.

Even as an observer, Alonna was stirred by the brutal scene.

She felt that those tubes and tallic soft ends were wriggling like soft-bodied creatures in a pool of blood.

This unconsciously nauseated her.

The surgery lasted a very long ti.

Alonna could only half-guess the current situation by watching the nearby monitor.

So of John’s organs were completely damaged.

From ti to ti, tal plates on the nearby walls would open and close.

The computer screen kept displaying John’s body data and various indicators, selecting suitable artificial organs for replacent through comparison and evaluation of various consumables.

The pool’s visibility beca increasingly low.

Alonna even felt they were piecing together a body.

John fully opened his eyes at this mont.

He lay flat at the bottom of the pool, watching the liquid mixed with various floating objects pass before his eyes, yet he felt neither stinging nor discomfort.
