"Where are you going?"
"Going ho."
"The apartnt on Dan Street?" John asked with confusion.
"Did Internet Surveillance ss up your ears too? Do you have any other place to go in Eden City?"
Oulos sighed and shook her head. "Don’t rush, darling, the man you want to kill is a middleman in the West District, he’s not that easy to take down."
John thought this made sense.
Silver Rider 577 returned to the familiar Dan Street Apartnt, drawing the attention of Black Gold Gang mbers as soon as it passed through the city’s elevated roads.
They found a spot to park before reaching the apartnt.
Oulos’s cybernetic eye flickered constantly; her long gown was clearly not suitable for tonight’s hunting operation.
She raised her hand to her shoulder, sliding off the soft dress, adding a hint of snow-white inside the car while she changed into John’s new shirt under his slightly surprised sidelong glance, wearing sporty shorts as her lower garnts.
"Consider the shirt as part of the operational cost. Also, keep that piece of kidney of yours; I’ll need it after handling things."
Oulos pulled out the dress’s shoulder straps, raked up her shoulder-length hair into a simple hairstyle.
The exposed leather, with glints of tallic sheen, transford her aura instantly, yet she remained stunningly beautiful.
In the area controlled by the Black Gold Gang, which prioritized the entertainnt industry, the number of sexy, hot girls was abundant, and her outfit didn’t particularly stand out.
John’s garage in the VIP area had direct access to Bolago Club, which would undoubtedly alert Mr. Vito.
He stood by the roadside, looking up.
The distant building was brightly lit, with holographic projections reaching into the clouds, and dazzling advertisents sending out strong light, illuminating his apartnt.
The blasted opening was sealed with yellow electronic warning tape.
John and Oulos got out of the car, letting Silver Rider 577 switch to automatic mode and return to the parking spot.
Oulos observed for a mont, pointing to a truck by the roadside.
"The middle truck is Internet Surveillance’s field agents. I’ll handle the surveillance and electronic equipnt. You clean up the scene; be swift, there’s no ti for car chases."
John silently drew out a revolver and gripped his only short-nosed rifle, checking the full magazine and familiarizing himself with the gear-drawing actions of his new coat...
Oulos leaned against the wall by the roadside, her legs crossed, with her hand tucked into the edge of her shorts, revealing a short line of her pelvis.
"Will you have a psychological burden?"
"I have no moral burden; they invaded my ho and shot at my head without greeting ."
John pulled up his windproof scarf.
The robbers tonight reminded him that trouble would invite itself; this city had its own rules.
[Data signal received/confirming sync...]
John quickly crossed the street.
The caras around him turned into green data streams, spreading around like an infection, constantly infecting other devices.
Internet Surveillance used a van as camouflage.
The worn paint on the old-style surface was just a disguise, equipped inside with a portable split-level bulletproof layer, non-original single-layer glass, and a signal transmitter on top of the outer fra...
John was a good driver, familiar with commonly used models.
He adjusted the route to block the line of sight blind spots, gently knocking on one side of the truck’s door, then quickly turned around to the other side.
He simultaneously heard movent from three corners.
He could even imagine the scene inside:
The knock startled the Internet Surveillance agents in the back seat; one of them pulled out a gun, signaling the two colleagues in the front seat to turn their heads, then slowly moved to the door, preparing to shoot from the side.
The attention of the driver and passenger was diverted, they might have also realized that the caras around them were hacked and began to handle it online.
John took out the Vodka revolver, fired twice against the driver’s window to ensure penetration of the glass, and then made one more shot in the area with the densest shadow.
The rear car door flew open with a bang.
John was already at the front of the vehicle, his quick walk matching the rhythm of his continuously pulled trigger.
The passenger died instantly.
John calmly turned, circled back from another direction, changing the clip while observing the surroundings.
He stowed the revolver full of bullets back in place, drew out the Butterfly Knife to hook the iron ring at the rear end, and, holding the knife, raised the rifle, targeting the distant alleys.
Oulos had already marked the red dots.
Two ’ordinary citizens’ holding guns ran out quickly, just colliding with John’s pre-aid gun line.
The agents twitched one by one, falling backward.
Their heads shattered just as they poked out, like glass bottles on a display shelf casually smashed.

John traced his way back to the car door.
He advanced along the edge with his gun up, finding the area within his vision empty, so he lifted his foot to kick the already open side door shut, instantly turning and aiming at the previously obscured area, firing ferociously.
[Module: Ballistic Correction, Interdiate Armor-Piercing]
A montary scream and sound of collapse ca from inside the car.
John saved a few bullets, switched to a gun-and-blade mode, quickly pulled open the car door, ensuring there were no survivors.
Thud thud thud.
The vehicle started to move.
The mbers of the Black Gold Gang likely began converging on this spot.
In the territory, a brief gunfight would concern the Black Gold Gang more than the police; they even had a standard ’processing procedure,’ reporting and calling for reinforcents imdiately, intending to win by sheer numbers.
This would waste ti but also prevent situations like John’s.
Resolving a battle cleanly ant that there were professionals involved on the scene; whether it was for revenge or assassination, it wasn’t sothing ordinary gang thugs could interfere with.
They just needed to firmly record the situation and use all resources to keep an eye on this vehicle.
