Von Klei's helt was knocked off, and the armor around his neck was completely smashed.

Even so, the armor could still move.

The white light on Fang Zhen's spear flashed repeatedly as he continuously empowered it with the Power Mountain Seal.

After four or five spear strikes, Von Klei's main suit of armor was torn to pieces.

The two arms, the legs, the helt, and the torso had all been battered apart.

But, bizarrely, even though Von Klei had been dismantled like this, he wasn't dead.

The separated pieces of armor still seed to be alive.

The breastplate heaved up and down as if breathing. The leg armor, like muscles, shifted and squird toward the torso.

The fingers on the gauntlets of the two arms moved as if alive, using themselves like legs to crawl toward the torso. They even tried to pick up the head and reattach it.

The sight made Fang Zhen's skin crawl.

Baron von Kleist's martial prowess was actually nothing special. He might have been stronger than an ordinary Knight, but he was no match for Montagu.

But this bizarre form of life was truly terrifying.

Just then, Fang Zhen suddenly heard sothing speaking from within the armor.

"I… Von Klei… will never die… never die…"

A sinister-sounding voice echoed continuously from within Von Klei's breastplate.

To Fang Zhen, Von Klei felt like a toad—not dangerous, just disgusting.

White light flashed on his spear as he activated the Power Mountain Seal again.

He brought his spear down in a heavy chop, smashing it into the center of Von Klei's breastplate.

"BANG!"

The blow was imnsely powerful, splitting Von Klei's breastplate in two right down the middle.

And with that strike, the armor of the so-called "immortal" Von Klei seed to suddenly lose all its vitality.

The other squirming, twitching pieces of armor seed to lose all their strength.

Fang Zhen could clearly feel so mysterious power being drained from the armor.

The armor lost all its life, becoming nothing more than broken scraps of tal. It stopped twitching. Even the black, demonic script inside stopped writhing, slowly fading until it vanished.

Before long, Von Klei's armor, having lost its mystical power, beca ordinary fragnts scattered on the ground.

The immortal Baron von Kleist was finally dead.

Fang Zhen stared at the armor fragnts on the ground.

He didn't think Baron von Kleist was particularly strong, but this strange form of life and existence gave him much to think about.

'It's a wicked path, but it does touch upon the concept of eternal life.'

The sound of approaching hoofbeats ca from behind.

Fang Zhen turned to see Dalia riding toward him.

As Dalia drew near, she slowed her horse.

Dalia was a good rider. After stopping her horse, she dismounted with a stylish flourish.

Dalia walked over to where Fang Zhen had fought.

"Is this Baron von Kleist? Where is he?" Dalia asked, looking at the scattered armor on the ground.

"He probably sacrificed himself," Fang Zhen said. "Von Klei's physical body has long since ceased to exist."

He told Dalia his theory.

Dalia was very surprised to hear this.

But the Countess quickly cald down.

"Your deduction might be true. When I was a child, my father told

stories about armor wraiths. They described nobles who made deals with devils to achieve immortality, only to be transford into suits of armor and live for over two hundred years."

"As a child, those stories scared

for a long ti. I was even afraid to go near the suits of armor my father kept in the castle, and he used to laugh at

for it."

"Only after I grew up did I gradually realize that those stories might have all been true."

Fang Zhen nodded slightly.

Dalia had provided further evidence supporting his theory that Von Klei's true form was the armor itself.

"What now?" Dalia asked.

Fang Zhen glanced at the still-burning forest ahead.

Baron von Kleist was probably dead.

Montagu and Von Klei were both dead. Two confird Fallen Knights had been eliminated.

That only left the final, mysterious Fallen Knight whose identity was still unknown.

Fang Zhen still didn't know who the last Fallen Knight was.

'No matter who it is, once I eliminate this last opponent, this dungeon will be complete.'

"Let's go. We'll head back to Redstone Town first and see what the situation is," Fang Zhen said.

There were no Extraordinary items on Von Klei's armor that had erged from the fire; even if there had been, they would have been burned away.

Fang Zhen returned to his Jue Ying motorcycle, hung his spear on it, placed his compound bow in the pack on the back, and started the engine, heading back to town.

「More than two hours later.」

Fang Zhen's party returned to Redstone Town and arrived at the entrance of the Redstone Tavern.

Town Mayor Ande was still awake.

Too much had happened the previous night. Ande, sporting dark circles under his eyes, walked out of the tavern to et Fang Zhen as he returned.

"Sir, we've already cleared the battlefield in the Dark Forest. Viscount Montagu's armor and sword have been brought back for you as spoils of war."

"Viscount Montagu's army was burned to a crisp, so there was nothing to salvage. But sothing strange happened there," Ande said to Fang Zhen.

"What was it?" Fang Zhen asked.

"A bizarre Knight in armor, constantly leaking pus, was in the Dark Forest. He didn't move toward Redstone Town but lingered around the remains of Viscount Montagu's army. He rode a warhorse that looked dead, and both the horse and its rider were covered in pus," Ande said.

"The townsfolk didn't dare get close; they just watched from a distance. That armored Knight, who looked as if afflicted by so evil disease, didn't seem to be conscious. He was even prodding the charred corpses of Viscount Montagu's soldiers with his spear."

At this point, Ande glanced at Dalia and said with so hesitation, "So of the townsfolk recognized the armor and warhorse. They said the Knight of Evil Disease looked exactly like Viscount Ashton himself."

"Oh, heavens!" Dalia's face went pale upon hearing this news.

A thought struck Fang Zhen.

'Ande's description sounds just like a Fallen Knight.'

He suddenly realized who the mysterious Fallen Knight was.

It was Viscount Ashton himself.

The reason the dungeon hadn't directly nad Viscount Ashton as the third Fallen Knight wasn't just to be intentionally cryptic.

Fang Zhen guessed that when he bought the information for this dungeon, Viscount Ashton had not yet fallen.

The reason it was so mysterious, with so many question marks, was because Viscount Ashton was still alive back then and had not yet beco a Fallen Knight.

Now, it was likely that Viscount Ashton, driven into a corner by Montagu and at the end of his rope, had been forced to choose to fall.

The Knight of Evil Disease wandering the Dark Forest was Viscount Ashton himself, transford into a Vengeful Knight, co to seek revenge on Montagu.

Fang Zhen's gaze fell on Dalia's face.
