Chapter 610: Chapter 610: The First Children’s Day!
Little Treasure was quite cooperative about going to school the next day, mainly because she wanted to show her Barbie doll to her best friend. On the way, she kept complaining about all the things she didn’t like about the school. For instance, the food was terrible and the beds were too small.

Lin Feng found his way to her classroom window with ease. He peeked inside and saw his little girl happily playing with her Barbie doll and best friend.
Relieved, Lin Feng headed ho, thinking he would make sothing delicious for Zhang Yuxi and bring it to her for lunch.
He stewed a fish soup and cooked Zhang Yuxi’s favorite dishes to take to her.
In the principal’s office, Zhang Yuxi was buried in her work. When she heard soone enter, she spoke without lifting her head. "You all can go eat first. I’ll eat after I’m finished with this."
Slling the fragrant aroma of food, Zhang Yuxi paused and looked up to see Lin Feng.
"Honey, what brings you here? Did you bring
lunch?"
Lin Feng sat on the sofa. "Wash your hands and eat. Whatever work you have can wait. It won’t take up much ti."
Zhang Yuxi bead as she went to wash her hands. "It slls so good! Oh, there’s even fish soup."
Lin Feng smiled faintly. "Eat up!"
"Have you eaten?"
"I have."
Ever since becoming principal, Zhang Yuxi had been too busy to get away from her work, so she never had ti to co ho for lunch. Whether she ate in the school cafeteria or out, nothing was ever as good as Lin Feng’s cooking.
Watching her eat with such a look of satisfaction, Lin Feng asked with a smile, "Is it good?"
Zhang Yuxi nodded vigorously. "It’s delicious!"
"If it’s delicious, then eat more. There’s fruit here too!"
"Thank you, honey. You’re too good to !"
Lin Feng smiled indulgently. After all these years, she hasn’t changed a bit.
"I’ll install a small fridge in your office later."
Zhang Yuxi nodded. "That would work. But I can’t get special treatnt. I’ll see about getting one for every office, so the teachers can have sothing cold to drink in the sumr to cool off."
That ans the money will have to co from the school’s budget.
"Did Little Treasure cry and fuss at school today?"
"She had a little tantrum, but it was no big deal."
"That’s good!"
When he picked up Little Treasure that afternoon, her teacher said she had behaved very well in class. She didn’t cry or make a fuss, and even comforted other children. In short, she had been excellent today, and Lin Feng was very pleased.
On her third day of school, Little Treasure was well-behaved and quiet, having simply swapped out her Barbie doll for a different one.

Lin Feng didn’t expect Little Treasure to use the word ’fat’. "Why do you ask that?"
Little Treasure pouted her small mouth and thought for a mont. "Because my costu is the biggest!"
It seems all girls worry about their figures. Even soone as young as Little Treasure already understands the concept of being ’fat’.
Lin Feng looked at Little Treasure very seriously. "You’re not fat at all! All this chubbiness is adorable!"
Little Treasure pinched her round little tummy. As she looked down, her double chin popped out, making her look incredibly plump and cute.
Lin Feng kissed her little tummy. "Mommy, Daddy, and your big brother and sister absolutely love your adorable chubbiness!"
Little Treasure giggled, tickled by the kiss.
After washing the little dress, Lin Feng carried Little Treasure off to bed.
Now that sumr had arrived, the chubby Little Treasure got sweaty easily, so she needed a bath both at noon and in the evening. Not only that, but Lin Feng also had to apply talcum powder on her every day.
Little Treasure rolled around on her small bed. "Daddy, when is Mommy coming back?"
"Mommy is working overti today. Let’s go to sleep first."
Little Treasure, dressed in her silky cotton pajamas, looked like a little bouncy ball.
"Daddy, why don’t you work overti?"
"Because Daddy’s job doesn’t require overti!"

"Daddy, do I have to go to school tomorrow?"

Little Treasure’s plump face scrunched up unhappily. "Can I not go?"
"No, you can’t."
"But I want to stay with Daddy. You must be so bored at ho all by yourself."
Lin Feng knew she was just making excuses, but he was still touched. He kissed the little cutie. "Daddy isn’t bored!"
Little Treasure sighed, and her expression made Lin Feng laugh. "Sighing already at your age?"
The precocious little girl said, "My life is so hard!"
"But tomorrow is Children’s Day! Mommy and Daddy are coming to your school for your very first Children’s Day celebration!"
Upon hearing this, Little Treasure perked up. "Yay! Little Treasure is the happiest!"
"Go to sleep now!"
"Goodnight, Daddy! Little Treasure loves you the most!"
"Goodnight, baby. Daddy loves you too!"
Little Treasure found a comfortable position, and soon, her steady breathing indicated she had fallen asleep.
Lin Feng took out his phone to catch up on the news.
At half past eleven that night, flickering car headlights shone through the window, and Lin Feng got up to go downstairs.
"You’re back. Have you eaten?"
"I have. Is Little Treasure asleep?"
"She’s asleep. She was just asking about you."
"Tomorrow is the Children’s Day celebration, right? What ti in the morning?"
"We need to be at the school by 8:30. It starts at 9:00."
As they talked, Zhang Yuxi went into the bathroom. "In that case, I’ll have to dress up nicely tomorrow."
Lin Feng said sweetly, "Honey, you’re already beautiful. You don’t need to dress up."
Zhang Yuxi smiled, pursing her lips. Even after being married for so many years, she still blushed whenever he said sweet things to her.
Seeing Zhang Yuxi’s tired face, Lin Feng said, "Honey, let
give you a massage to help you relax."
"I’ll trouble you then, honey."
"Don’t ntion it."
It had to be said, his massage skills were the real deal. She rembered one ti during a training session when her neck and shoulders felt stiff, so she went with a few other teachers to get a massage. But far from making it better, the massage actually made it worse. When she got back, a thirty-minute massage from Lin Feng worked wonders, leaving her feeling incredibly relaxed.
"Honey, thank you for all your hard work."
"It was no trouble at all. You’re the one who works hard, honey."
Her current success was all thanks to her wonderful husband. He helped her achieve a successful career and a happy family life—a feat many people could only envy. Moreover, this was her first ti attending Little Treasure’s Children’s Day celebration. As the principal, she had to be mindful of her image.
