Chapter 541: Chapter 541 dia Interview

Zhang Yuxi, holding her phone, pitter-pattered into the kitchen to show Lin Feng.

"Honey, have you seen this?"

"Dabao published his own paper in the *Journal of Science*."

"My God, Dabao is so amazing! Did you know my ntor has published three papers? And that’s already considered a huge accomplishnt."

"But Dabao is only in his first year of high school. He has a long life ahead of him, with even greater triumphs waiting!"

Lin Feng wiped the water off his hands and hurriedly took the phone.

"Let

see!"

No parents exist who don’t hope for their children to be successful and beco remarkable people. However, as the saying goes, the dragon’s nine sons are all different. So have to lower their expectations, hoping only that their An family can live a peaceful and carefree life. But since their child was so outstanding, the couple naturally harbored high hopes in private.

"Dabao is really sothing to be proud of!"

By noon, reporters had already arrived to cover the story.

Looking at the handso young man exuding a composed air, the reporter was stunned. Holy moly, he’s a handso genius to boot! Incredible!

Dabao didn’t want to be on cara and just wished to answer a few questions.

The reporter thought for a mont. "Okay then. Can you tell us how you managed to do it? You’re only in your first year of high school!"

Dabao was puzzled. "Who made a rule that first-year high school students can’t do other things? Or achieve so minor distinction in another field?"

This is hardly a *minor* distinction, okay? the reporter couldn’t help but comnt internally.

The reporter chuckled. "Perhaps it’s just a stereotype that first-year students are all busy studying hard and preparing for their college entrance exams."

They couldn’t possibly have the ti or energy for anything else. More to the point, most wouldn’t have the brains for it. One had to understand that even professors from prestigious dostic universities couldn’t guarantee getting an article published in the *Journal of Science*.

Facing the interview, Dabao responded calmly. His speech and mannerisms didn’t seem like those of a first-year high school student at all. The core question was how he had managed to achieve all this.

"A very important reason is that I have a wonderful family. My dad, especially, is very supportive no matter what we do," Dabao explained. "In his view, grades aren’t everything; they’re just a standard to asure how much knowledge you’ve absorbed. He much prefers that we seize opportunities to explore our own infinite potential!"

During the half-hour interview, Dabao remained very humble. There were still many unknown peaks in life waiting for him to climb. There were also many peers far more outstanding than he was; he truly didn’t think he was all that great.

Since he didn’t want to appear on cara, Dabao had his back turned during the entire interview.

After the interview ended, the reporter told Dabao that it would be broadcast on Yangcheng News at 8:30 that night.

No sooner had the Yangcheng reporter left than a reporter from CCTV hurried over. Sizing up Dabao with a glance, she greeted him with a beaming smile.

"Hi there, I’m a CCTV reporter. I heard you published a paper in the *Journal of Science*. May I interview you?"

"Sure."

She expressed her understanding of Dabao’s request not to appear on screen.

When the interviews were finally over, Dabao slumped into his seat, hoping to rest for a bit. His classmates ca over to congratulate him, their voices filled with envy.

"Class President, you’re a beast!"

"How do you manage to study while doing other things on the side?"

"Seriously, the howork alone is enough to drive

crazy..."

Just then, his teacher ca over and led Dabao away, ntioning that the school and the Education Bureau had decided to give him an incentive bonus of 400,000 yuan, hoping he would continue to advance and not grow arrogant. Because the children were quite low-key, any award ceremony was skipped; the news coverage would be sufficient.

That day, Dabao was so busy he felt like his head was spinning. After undergoing interviews with several dia outlets back-to-back and then running around everywhere, it would be a miracle if he wasn’t tired. He would have much rather spent the ti conducting experints or doing howork.

Erbao and Sanbao also ca to congratulate him. They had wanted to be the first to do so, but they couldn’t find him anywhere.

Erbao giggled. "Big Brother, you’re so aweso! You’re truly our big brother!"

Sanbao smiled slightly. "Big Brother, Dad just sent a ssage. He said that after school, we’re going to the supermarket to buy groceries, and we can get whatever we want to eat."

Erbao chid in, "Big Brother has been really busy today..."

「On the other hand, at Zhang Yuxi’s office.」

Dabao hadn’t breathed a word of this to his parents, catching them completely off guard.

"What’s wrong, Teacher Zhang?"

"Did sothing happen?"

At school, Zhang Yuxi was the renowned ’Ice Queen’, famous for being both strict and beautiful. Of course, her capabilities were also well-known. She had already beco the school’s vice principal.

Opinions were divided regarding her promotion. A small group of people felt she hadn’t earned the position through proper ans, and all sorts of rumors circulated about how she had gotten it. Zhang Yuxi paid them no mind, preferring to prove herself through her actions.

But right now, Zhang Yuxi couldn’t help but want to show off. Their family’s Dabao was just too amazing; she couldn’t contain her pride.

She picked up a bag and began handing out celebratory candy to her colleagues. This left the other teachers baffled, their eyes involuntarily drifting to her stomach. It couldn’t be a celebration for her promotion, as she had already treated everyone to a al for that.

Could it be... she’s pregnant again?

Unable to hide her smile, Zhang Yuxi announced, "My eldest published an article in the *Journal of Science*. I’m just so happy I wanted to share my joy."

Upon hearing this, everyone gasped.

Holy hell, no way! Is that for real?

But seeing Zhang Yuxi’s radiant smile, they knew she wouldn’t lie about sothing like this. Filled with envy, they all began to congratulate her.

"Teacher Zhang, you’re truly a winner in life!"

"Exactly! A successful career and a happy family. We’re so envious we could burst!"

"Not only is your husband handso and rich, but your four children are all so capable!"

"I’d be content if I could have just one of the things you have in my lifeti."

A beautiful face, a handso, wealthy, and family-oriented husband, and smart, adorable, well-behaved children. She was living the life that every other female teacher dread of.

Zhang Yuxi checked her schedule. She could leave work early today to go ho and celebrate with Dabao.

After school, the An quadruplets were used to attracting attention from their peers. Now, however, the students were buzzing even more, whispering amongst themselves.

"Damn, we’re all human. How can the gap be so huge?"

"My God, they’re quadruplets, and every single one of them is extraordinarily talented. How is that possible?"

"The fact that their parents had quadruplets already proves how incredible they are, don’t you think?"

"My older sister told

that if you can publish even one article in the *Journal of Science*, your life is set! You could brag about it forever."

"Pardon my ignorance, but I’d never even heard of it before this..."

"I don’t get it. They could clearly get by on their looks, but they insist on using their talent! So frustrating!"

"You’re wrong. They clearly don’t have to rely on anything. Their family is rich; they don’t have to work this hard..."

Erbao and his siblings walked on, leaving the sea of discussion behind them.

At the school’s main gate, the quadruplets were waiting on their bikes. "Over here!" one of them called out.
