Du Qian tried to grab Zhang Yuxi's hand but was sharply shoved away as Zhang Yuxi snapped, "Don't touch !"
Du Qian pursed her lips. "Yu Xi, do you really have to be this way?"
She lifted her head, her gaze fierce. "Yes, you're happy now, but what if that happiness isn't even real? Look at Lu Boyu—such a good man, yet he still cheated on . Your man is handso and rich; there must be hordes of won watching him like wolves. n are like cats; they can't resist a bit of fish on the side."
Hearing this, Zhang Yuxi wasn't angry at all. Instead, she laughed.
"Don't compare yourself to , and don't compare Lu Boyu to Lin Feng."
"You're not worthy, and neither is he!"
"Just because you couldn't hold on to your own marriage, don't assu everyone else is as incompetent as you are."
Looking at the beautiful, proud woman before her, who carried herself like a queen, Du Qian was so enraged she was on the verge of insanity. "Zhang Yuxi, I admit I wronged you, but so many years have passed! I want to make it up to you, but you never give

Zhang Yuxi found this hilarious.

Zhang Yuxi was taken aback for a mont. "Whether you did or not is no longer important."
"If it weren't for that 'accident,' how would I have found my happiness?"
"Besides, what goes around cos around. Wicked people always get their just deserts."
After a pause, Zhang Yuxi added with a faint smile, "To be honest, seeing how unhappy you are actually makes
very happy!"
With that, she turned and strode away.
"Du Qian, this is the last conversation we will ever have! Don't provoke
again!"
After she left, Lin Feng asked quietly, "So, how do you plan on dealing with her?"
Zhang Yuxi opened her big, innocent eyes wide. "Isn't it obvious? Throw a sack over her head and beat her up!"
Lin Feng couldn't help but laugh, thinking his wife was adorable.
Zhang Yuxi said indignantly, "I'm not joking! I'm serious!"
"Alright, alright, you're serious! Sounds like a good plan. A good beating to let off so steam!"
Zhang Yuxi pouted. "You're so annoying! What else am I supposed to do?"
The children ca pitter-pattering over. "Mom, what are we supposed to do?"
Zhang Yuxi tapped the second treasure's nose. "We're supposed to figure out what to do with you being so cute!"
The second treasure giggled. "Mommy is the cutest!"
Oh, that little mouth spouting such sweet words! Zhang Yuxi absolutely adored it.
In the afternoon, they went diving again and had the ti of their lives.
「Back in Yangcheng」
It was ti for the kids to settle down and prepare for school to start.
An Lan rushed over to their door. She had taken her child back to Modu during the long holiday and heard a juicy piece of gossip.
"Lu Boyu is suing Du Qian for divorce!"
"I swear, Du Qian and I must have our stars crossed," Zhang Yuxi said, rubbing her forehead. "I ran into her again in Sanya."
An Lan quickly asked, "That lunatic didn't give you any trouble, did she?"
Zhang Yuxi shook her head. "No, she just insisted on pulling
aside to chat."
"You should ignore that psycho from now on," An Lan said. "I did so digging. Du Qian secretly bought two apartnts and a storefront for her parents. She used Lu Boyu's money without even telling him. The Lu Family only found out a few days ago."
"What's more, I heard that after marrying Lu Boyu, Du Qian was with another man... Lu Boyu's parents said that if the paternity test shows the child isn't his, they're going to make Du Qian spit out everything she took from them."
Zhang Yuxi took a deep breath. "She's insane!"
It's one thing to buy things for her own family. People are selfish; that's understandable to a degree. But to cheat on him...
"Lu Boyu didn't know at first," An Lan said, clicking her tongue a few tis. "He only found out after he hired soone to investigate."
After the kids went back to school, An Lan ca by with another update.
The child was confird to be Lu Boyu's. He was no longer pursuing the assets she had bought for her family and only wanted a divorce. Pressured by her parents, Du Qian agreed to the divorce.
An Lan laughed heartily. "I heard she left Modu, but no one knows where she went."
Zhang Yuxi didn't care much. As long as they never crossed paths again, it was fine.

In the blink of an eye, it was ti for school again. The days passed by, one after another, in peaceful routine.
In November, good news arrived concerning the third treasure.
Miao Lang had gone abroad during the last vacation, claiming he had business to attend to, but he was actually arranging this matter for the third treasure. He had secured an opportunity for the third treasure to perform a solo prelude at the New York Opera House. If the performance was a huge success, the third treasure would surely beco famous overseas.
The performance was scheduled for November 9th. Miao Lang flew to icheng to coach the third treasure. School was important, but this competition was crucial too.
Before they knew it, it was November 6th, a Friday, which ant the start of the weekend.
Lin Feng asked the third treasure's teacher, Ms. Zhao, for a leave of absence, explaining that their child wouldn't be back in school until the following Wednesday.
Concerned, Ms. Zhao asked, "What's wrong? Why are they taking leave?"
When she learned it was for a very important competition, Ms. Zhao was very supportive and wished them luck.
"Is the eldest treasure going too? Will they need to take leave as well?"
This was a monuntal competition for the third treasure, so the entire family had to be there to support them.
The tickets were already booked!
They departed on Friday evening on a direct flight to New York. From the airport, they took the subway to a hotel near the opera house.
By the ti they arrived at the hotel, it was already past ten at night.
The children fell asleep the mont they hit their beds and would probably sleep in until noon the next day.
Miao Lang had already arranged the schedule. "On the seventh and eighth, I'll take the third treasure to practice and et with the music team."
"The official performance is on the ninth."
Lin Feng asked, "Is there anything we need to do?"
"You don't need to do a thing. Just take the four treasures sightseeing for the next two days. There's plenty of delicious food to try around here."
