The younger mbers of the Murray family had only heard Cullen's na whispered in hushed conversations. Seeing him in person was different. Their eyes kept drifting toward him, drawn by a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.

Power clung to Cullen like a second skin. Years of commanding boardrooms and making decisions that affected thousands had carved authority into his very presence. He didn't need to speak or gesture to fill the room with tension. When he caught them staring, his gaze swept over them with detached assessnt.

The cousins imdiately averted their eyes, suddenly finding their plates fascinating. None dared to maintain eye contact with the man who had built an empire through ruthless precision.

Cullen registered their reaction without interest. He had no desire to charm or befriend them. His attention moved elsewhere, indifferent to their discomfort.

This was the man Veronica had surrendered her heart to completely. After years of pain and rejection, she remained trapped in feelings that refused to die, no matter how much damage they caused.

Phillip's jaw tightened as he watched Cullen's cold dismissal of the family. The way this man had treated Veronica for years burned in Phillip's chest like acid. Every sleepless night she'd endured, every tear she'd shed because of Cullen's cruelty had carved deep resentnt into Phillip's soul.

But what options did the Murray family have? They were ordinary people facing a man who controlled vast wealth and influence. Challenging Cullen would be like throwing pebbles at a fortress.

With Cullen's unexpected arrival, Phillip found himself trapped by social obligations. As the host, he couldn't simply ignore a guest, no matter how unwelco.

Rising from his chair, Phillip lifted his wine glass with forced courtesy. "Mr. Dennis, we weren't prepared for your visit. Please excuse any shortcomings in our arrangents."

Cullen stood in response, his movents fluid and controlled. He raised his own glass, the crystal catching the dining room light. "Mr. Murray, there's no need for such formality."

The title hung in the air like a slap. Not "Uncle Phillip" or any acknowledgnt of family connection. Just the cold distance of "Mr. Murray."

Everyone at the table felt the deliberate slight. Cullen had drawn a clear line between himself and the Murray family, making it obvious he would never consider them his own.

Veronica had long ago stopped expecting anything different. The man she loved had never truly accepted her or her family. Now, she didn't want his acceptance anymore.

Her voice cut through the tension, sharp and dismissive. "Grandma Cook was kind to send you. If you have business elsewhere, don't let us keep you."

His presence was poisoning what should have been a celebration. Everyone could feel the weight of unspoken history pressing down on the gathering.

Cullen's response ca without emotion. "I have nowhere else to be tonight."

Veronica's frown deepened. What ga was he playing now? But instead of explaining himself to her, Cullen turned toward Malcolm with sudden focus.

"Mr. Blair, our developnt team has been working on breakthrough stealth technology. Complete invisibility from all detection systems, including the most advanced radar networks. I thought this might interest you."

Malcolm's fork paused halfway to his mouth. His expression shifted from polite attention to sharp professional interest. "Complete invisibility? From all radar systems?"

"Every single one," Cullen confird.

"Tell more," Malcolm said, setting down his utensils entirely.

Without hesitation, Cullen began outlining technical specifications that revealed his deep understanding of artificial intelligence and advanced engineering. His knowledge went far beyond what most business executives possessed.

Veronica found herself drawn into the conversation despite her resentnt. If sothing could capture Malcolm's complete attention like this, it had to be genuinely revolutionary.

Dario leaned forward, his own expertise recognizing the implications of what Cullen was describing. Soon both he and Veronica were hanging on every word, their dinner growing cold as they absorbed complex technical details.

Phillip noticed their intense focus and started to suggest they eat while listening. But seeing how completely engrossed the three engineers had beco, he held his tongue. Missing even a sentence might an losing crucial information.

The dynamic in the room had shifted completely. Minutes ago, Cullen had been an unwelco intruder disrupting a family celebration. Now he commanded the conversation, transforming dinner into an impromptu technical symposium.

Everyone except Veronica had been strangers to Cullen before tonight. His presence should have created awkwardness and discomfort. Instead, he had sohow made himself the center of attention through sheer expertise.

But Cullen remained conscious that this evening belonged to Mary, not him. After several minutes of detailed discussion, he pulled back smoothly.

"Mr. Blair, if this technology interests you, perhaps we could arrange a more thorough discussion at your convenience? Tonight should focus on more important matters."
