Tang Jianbing paced in circles on the spot, and Tang Chuxia didn’t disturb him, instead, she went to wash up.

By the ti Tang Chuxia had finished washing up, Tang Jianbing was still pacing in circles.

"Little brother, stop pacing and co have breakfast!"

The breakfast was bought by Licorice. Their cultural troupe started work late, so there was no need to rush over early, and the breakfast was still prepared and delivered by Licorice, even though Tang Chuxia and Gu Beihuai had planned to hire a housekeeper, Licorice didn’t agree.

She said she had nothing better to do, and making breakfast was easy for her.

Tang Chuxia didn’t insist on refusing, as Licorice still hadn’t adapted to life outside the family ho and needed so sense of security, which Tang Chuxia was happy to provide.

Now as they sat down for breakfast, Tang Jianbing was sowhat distracted, falling into his own world. If he hadn’t choked on a sip of soybean juice, he probably would still be out of it!

Licorice handed him a handkerchief, and Tang Jianbing finally ca around.

He just looked at Tang Chuxia, "Is it really true? Is she really your sister?"

Tang Chuxia rolled her eyes. Listen to this question, what does he an ’is she her sister’? Wasn’t it his sister as well?

However, considering that it must take so ti for Tang Jianbing to accept sothing like this, in their minds, they only had Tang Chuxia as a sister, and now suddenly there was another biological sister, which was quite an adjustnt for everyone.

"I’m not sure, that’s what our dad said yesterday!"

As Tang Chuxia ate her breakfast, she reminded Tang Jianbing to eat quickly and then go ask their father about it.

But Father Tang had gone to bed late the night before and hadn’t gotten up yet. By the ti Tang Chuxia and Tang Jianbing arrived, Father Tang was just getting out of bed with a headache.

He had drunk so alcohol the day before, which, while not enough to affect him greatly, had made him feel sowhat uncomfortable.

Seeing both his son and daughter in front of him, he asked with confusion, "What’s going on?"

Tang Jianbing asked impatiently, "Dad, didn’t you tell Tang Wanqiu is still alive? Were you just spouting nonsense because you were drunk?"

Father Tang grunted, "Of course it’s true, I saw it with my own eyes. How could you, such an unfilial son, doubt ?"

Tang Chuxia didn’t want to watch their father-and-son drama and went straight to the point, "Where is she? Let’s go see her!"

Father Tang shook his head, "I don’t know, that child is very stubborn. I just told her she was still alive, and then she left!"

"So what is she after? Just to get your attention? Then what? To make you feel guilty or to make you regret?"

When Tang Jianbing spoke, Tang Chuxia thought he might be out of his mind.

The three of them couldn’t co to a conclusion, but it was ti for Father Tang to go to work. As for Tang Jianbing, he was working for himself and wasn’t planning on going to the factory today. Instead, he slumped next to Tang Chuxia, "Shall we go find soone?"

Tang Chuxia waved her hand, "I have to go to school today, I don’t have ti to search, Gu Beihuai said he would arrange it. How about we wait for the result?"

Tang Jianbing jumped up from his chair, "Then I’ll call big brother!"

Such a matter couldn’t be kept secret.

Tang Chuxia suggested that he call Third Brother first.

Compared with big brother, Third Brother might be able to analyze more about the situation.

After Tang Chuxia left, Tang Jianbing made a call to Tang Jianzheng. Fortunately, Tang Jianzheng wasn’t on a mission today and was reachable. After listening to Tang Jianbing’s account, Tang Jianzheng advised, "Don’t act rashly, console our dad, I’ll look into it!"

If this turned out to be true, the Tang Family would definitely be thrown into disarray. Tang Jianzheng also felt overwheld, but fortunately, his recent investigations had co to a pause, and he had almost dealt with all the matters at hand, freeing him up to investigate this.

Compared to Tang Jianbing, Tang Jianzheng was certainly more thoughtful and also considered the purpose of Tang Wanqiu’s actions.

His first move was to go to his grandmother.

Others might not know, but Tang Jianzheng was aware that his grandmother had inadvertently ntioned that sothing had happened after Madam Tang gave birth, and he needed to clarify whether Tang Wanqiu was indeed alive back then.

It wasn’t easy to take leave, so Tang Jianzheng called his grandmother, and as soon as he brought up Tang Wanqiu, his grandmother said, "You don’t worry about this for now, I know what’s going on, and don’t go looking for your mother, she doesn’t know anything!"

His grandmother’s words made Tang Jianzheng’s heart skip a beat, suggesting that things were not as simple as he had thought.

After hanging up the phone, the grandmother turned to the grandfather and remarked, "I never expected this day would still co!"

"What is ant to co will always co. Thankfully, the children are all grown up and can handle a bit of a shock!"

The grandfather took his wife’s hand, filled with emotion.

But the grandmother looked helpless, "Whether it’s a shock or not doesn’t matter. That child’s circumstances were special, and I never thought she could survive."

The grandmother had not yet said anything when Tang Chuxia, who was supposed to go to school, arrived with Gu Beihuai at their place.

She thought the sa as Tang Jianzheng—grandmother must know more.

The grandmother explained to Tang Chuxia what she hadn’t explained to Tang Jianzheng before.

It turned out that when Madam Tang gave birth to twins, one indeed lost vital signs, and with the help of the old Taoist, Tang Chuxia acquired Divine Power. As for the other child, it was placed in a wooden box to be buried outside.

But sothing went wrong in between.

The task of taking the child away was undertaken by the grandmother and the elder couple of the Tang Family. As soon as they left Madam Tang’s sight, the elder couple of the Tang Family knelt before the grandmother, begging her to help.

It turned out that the elder couple had noticed that one of the children Madam Tang gave birth to might have a problem, but they couldn’t bear to let Madam Tang have an abortion, considering it was their granddaughter, so they waited until she was born.

The lifeless infant was taken away by the elder couple of the Tang Family, claiming they were sending it to a sage for rites of passage, and asked the grandmother to keep it secret.

"We didn’t know if the child could be saved, if not, then she would receive rites. If she survived, it would be her fate and none of our concern," were the exact words the grandmother rembered from the elder couple of the Tang Family.

The grandmother thought the child was gone, but before the elder couple died, they visited her to say the child was still alive and might be harboring misunderstandings about the Tang Family.

How far those misunderstandings went was unclear, but they were likely to cause trouble. They also asked the grandmother to keep the secret, otherwise, Madam Tang would be devastated.

Later, the elder couple passed away, and the grandmother suspected it was the child’s revenge. But when she learned that they had been poisoned years earlier, she stopped suspecting.

Now that she heard the child had made herself known, the grandmother realized that the elder couple of the Tang Family might still have kept sothing from her.

Now that the person had co back, their intentions were unknown.

After hearing the story, Tang Chuxia was at a loss for words.

What sort of situation was this?

Being alive is one thing, being dead is another.

Now she’s got a mystery on her hands that she has to unravel bit by bit, right?

"Grandma, so are you sure that the person who ca to our house is my sister?"
