Hu Mingcheng’s conversation was sothing Tang Chuxia definitely wouldn’t care about, even though she heard it.

Her senses were far more sensitive than those of an ordinary person, not just slightly stronger, but much, much stronger.

On this matter, Tang Chuxia never showed her capability, always pretending as if she hadn’t heard anything.

No matter how much Hu Mingcheng doubted her, she wouldn’t bother being overly accommodating anymore.

Lin Qingchen spoke about the events that happened the day before, explaining how, upon learning about Tang Chuxia’s trouble, they had imdiately launched a search and rescue, deploying many people.

"Gu Beihuai has had to use so resources that normally shouldn’t be mobilized, he’s probably going to have so tough days ahead!" Lin Qingchen cautioned.

Tang Chuxia paused in the middle of munching on a cucumber and then laughed, "What power could he possibly use that would also lead to criticism?"

Lin Qingchen didn’t continue.

Tang Chuxia guessed that Lin Qingchen wanted her to find out by herself.

But such matters weren’t easy to speak of.

She could only sigh, "Forget it, I’ll find the answer myself!"

She was straightforward, not wanting to burden Lin Qingchen.

The wait was long, but Tang Chuxia wasn’t idle, knowing that Huang Cuifen’s hand wasn’t convenient, she tidied up so disorderly areas in the yard. Huang Cuifen’s husband wasn’t in good health either, and was still outside; she directed Lin Qingchen to help fix the roof.

Any task within her power, she helped with.

Four little radishes watched as Tang Chuxia, with one hand, lifted the millstone, dealing with all the worn-down edges underneath, their eyes wide with astonishnt.

They would probably be shocked by Tang Chuxia’s capability for the rest of their lives.

While playing with the children, Sister-in-law Huang felt quite embarrassed, saying that Tang Chuxia and her group needed to rest and didn’t need to do so much.

Tang Chuxia smiled, "It’s nothing much, just a bit of handiwork since I am strong!"

Although she said that, Sister-in-law Huang still worried that Tang Chuxia would be tired, so she had the four children keep Tang Chuxia company to prevent her from overexerting herself.

But even so, Tang Chuxia still managed to put away the ssy things in the yard for Sister-in-law Huang and even arranged the sowhat disordered woodshed, compulsively straightening all the wood that wasn’t neat.

It was truly soothing for soone with OCD.

Sister-in-law Huang was doubtful of her own eyes as she looked at the transford and organized yard. She and her husband never managed to tidy the always cluttered yard so neatly, which made her question life a bit.

Could it be that all city folks were so good with organizing? She felt as if she didn’t know how to do anything anymore.

Tang Chuxia, on the other hand, didn’t think it was a big deal; one reason was that she did have a bit of OCD, and the other was that doing nothing would lead to overthinking, but keeping busy allowed her to focus and replay last night’s events in her mind.

Because sothing felt very wrong.

Even if she was formidable, the fact that she wasn’t tracked while escaping seed a bit forced.

There was also the content inside the cave, combined with Su Lan and Wu Yue’s conversation.

Tang Chuxia didn’t believe that Su Lan had a ntal problem, and it wasn’t likely that she captured Tang Chuxia rely to draw her blood.

There definitely was sothing else, sothing she had overlooked and not noticed.

But even after tidying Sister-in-law Huang’s ho and gathering information from her elder brother who had returned, Tang Chuxia still couldn’t pinpoint the issue.

Luckily, at this ti, Gu Beihuai also rushed over.

Upon seeing Tang Chuxia, he really lashed out at her, "Do you have any idea how dangerous it was for you yesterday?"

Tang Chuxia was frustrated.

Lin Qingchen had lost his composure and embraced himself upon seeing her for the first ti, yet Gu Beihuai, her husband, could only think of reproaching her.

Tang Chuxia narrowed her eyes, clenched her fists, and her breath turned slightly violent. Gu Beihuai imdiately sensed it and hugged Tang Chuxia tightly, "My dear wife, I was just too worried about you!"

He was quite sensible.

Tang Chuxia snorted coldly, "As if I got captured on purpose!"

She felt so wronged, you know!

Gu Beihuai felt sorry for her.

"Uh-huh, it hasn’t been easy for you. Thankfully, you escaped. How are you feeling now?"

As he was circling Tang Chuxia, the burly man who had been standing by all this ti rubbed his hands sowhat awkwardly before he finally called out, "Brother Huai!"

Gu Beihuai then rembered his comrade and finally took a break from questioning Tang Chuxia, instead saying to the man, "Da Qiang, thank you so much for this ti!"

Da Qiang grinned foolishly, "Brother Huai, you’re too polite. I didn’t do anything, it was Xiaxia who was amazing!"

Gu Beihuai sighed.

Dealing with a troubleso wife really left him speechless.

But thankfully, Tang Chuxia really wasn’t hurt, it was just that her complexion looked awful.

Tang Jianbing and Qin Zhan, who had co over with Gu Beihuai, didn’t join the commotion, but they bypassed them and went to the room where Yang Yingjie and the others were held.

When Qin Zhan and Tang Jianbing saw the four guys on the kang looking at them with hopeful eyes, they truly felt like saying, "Life is so unpredictable!"

Could they actually be seeing four grown n with such plaintive looks in their eyes?

Tang Jianbing couldn’t hold back and ran out to laugh.

As for Qin Zhan, being professionally trained, he had excellent skills for holding back laughter, but he couldn’t help it either, it was just too funny.

Yang Yingjie and the others were very frustrated.

But what could they do?

It was their own fault that they were all in such a predicant now.

When Gu Beihuai and Da Qiang had nearly finished chatting and Beihuai wanted to ask Tang Chuxia about what happened last night, he saw Lin Qingchen walking out from behind, with that look in his eyes.

It was really quite complex.

"Why is he here?" Gu Beihuai asked, not very pleased.

But Tang Chuxia said, "He and the old Taoist found first!"

Tang Chuxia didn’t think she needed to protect Gu Beihuai’s ego by hiding Lin Qingchen’s kindness.

Gu Beihuai felt sowhat unnatural.

He wasn’t the first to arrive.

Then he saw Tang Chuxia’s pale face, and his own face changed imdiately.

"What happened to you? Did those bastards lay a hand on you?"

Gu Beihuai really wanted to go and kill Su Lan, but Tang Chuxia held him back, "I lost so blood, it’s not a big problem, a few days’ rest will do."

Fortunately, at that mont, Tang Jianbing stepped out, and Gu Beihuai rembered there were others too.

"What happened to them?" Gu Beihuai asked, looking at Yang Yingjie and the other three n with a speechless expression.

Yang Yingjie didn’t wait for Tang Chuxia to answer; he explained the whole incident himself.

Gu Beihuai’s brow furrowed deeply. Last night, when the trace to Hu Mingcheng’s disappearance was lost, they knew it was done by soone familiar, so they started investigating overnight, exhausting a lot of resources, but to no avail. If it weren’t for Da Qiang’s phone call, they’d still be floundering like headless flies.

"Su Lan? How could she have that much strength?"
