"Sent her off?"

Where could her eldest nephew have gone?

Tang Chuxia realized sothing was amiss and imdiately went to check on Madam Tang.

Madam Tang gestured dismissively, "Don’t worry, he hasn’t gone anywhere. Ah Duo took the little one to another place to be taken care of. Your elder sister-in-law had a postpartum anhedonia and couldn’t nurse the child at all!"

Tang Chuxia was at a loss for words.

Being unable to breastfeed was certainly not good news for the little one.

"Is he still sick?"

She was concerned about her grandnephew’s health, but Madam Tang assured her, "There’s no issue at all. It’s just the little one spitting up milk, which is normal for babies. It’s your elder sister-in-law who’s making a fuss!"

It was probably the childbirth that had left her elder sister-in-law with unresolved issues, making her especially sensitive when it ca to the child.

Madam Tang didn’t want her grandson to suffer, nor did she want to see her son arguing with his wife, so she simply took the child away.

Now, with the elder sister-in-law constantly wanting to see the child, she wasn’t in the mood to argue with Tang Jianguo.

"Mom, are you playing the villain here? Aren’t you afraid your elder sister-in-law will hate you?"

Tang Chuxia had no qualms about being carried by Zheng Duoqing; she’d grown accustod to being carried by her brothers from a young age, and it really didn’t bother her.

Madam Tang scoffed, "Afraid of her? Soone who would allow a divine woman to treat her child, if I didn’t intervene, wouldn’t my grandson be in danger?"

There was really no need to make it sound so scary.

Tang Chuxia knew her elder sister-in-law was just stubborn in her ways for the mont.

However, she did need to be taught a lesson.

This wasn’t sothing she should be ddled with as a younger sister-in-law – it was better left for Madam Tang to handle.

She was brought back to the Zheng Family and Tang Chuxia claid to be tired, going straight to sleep.

Madam Tang, doting on her daughter, prepared many delicious dishes for her, but Tang Chuxia hardly ate a few bites before the rest went into the mouths of other family mbers.

It was only after Tang Chuxia had fully recovered that she received the news: the elder sister-in-law had run away from ho!

This was truly critical.

At such a ti, with the floodwaters not yet receded and she not yet out of her confinent period, if sothing were to happen, it would be a lifelong regret.

The family had dispatched mbers to look for her.

Dangdang gripped Tang Chuxia’s arm, "Xiaxia, my sister won’t be in trouble, right?"

She was genuinely scared, fearing her sister might do sothing desperate.

Tang Chuxia comforted her, patting her shoulder, "She definitely won’t be in trouble. Your elder sister-in-law still has to take care of the child. If sothing happened to her, who would look after the child?"

Tang Chuxia seriously suspected that her elder sister-in-law was suffering from postpartum depression; otherwise, her emotions wouldn’t be so out of sorts.

Before giving birth, her elder sister-in-law was gentle and pleasant, but since the delivery, there had been several emotional outbursts, and she’d even argued with Tang Jianbing.

Dangdang clung to Tang Chuxia, beginning to cry. She didn’t want to feel this way, but she couldn’t help it.

She was worried about her elder sister-in-law – how could she go ho and face her parents if sothing happened?

Regardless, the most important thing was to find her.

Fortunately, with the floodwaters receding and the roads erging, they didn’t have to take a boat to search.

But the thick mud still made it troubleso.

Tang Jianguo was frantic. He’d scolded his wife only a couple of tis and she’d left ho – it was simply incomprehensible to him.

Searching high and low alongside Tang Jianguo was Tang Jianbing.

"Elder brother, you really need to work on your temper. After all, elder sister-in-law is your wife. Even though she’s not constantly showing filial piety in front of our parents, she’s still a decent girl and is fairly respectful to our dad and mom!"

Tang Jianbing held a lot of respect for his elder sister-in-law.

Tang Jianguo didn’t say anything. Right now, the priority was to find the person.

"Besides, elder sister-in-law just feels insecure," said Tang Jianbing. His comnt about her feeling insecure set Tang Jianguo off.

"She feels insecure? I’m the one who should, not her. She doesn’t discuss anything with and just acts recklessly. If we weren’t lucky, my son could have been lost!"

Tang Jianguo had never seen such foolishness and ignorance. If it were sobody uneducated, he could understand, but his wife had finished high school and was an educated person.

How could she believe in the nonsense spouted by that divine woman?

More importantly, she seed to have no reverence for human life. Was that even reasonable?

Tang Jianbing didn’t dare to provoke his elder brother further, fearing he might just deal with him directly.

Perhaps it was the resentnt that had built up in his heart that made Tang Jianguo so incredibly irritable, almost crazed in his outbursts.

This only strengthened Tang Jianbing’s resolve not to marry too early. His married elder brother was terrifying.

He couldn’t help but think of Yu iYu, and his mood soured even further.

Despite searching everywhere, they couldn’t find anyone. When they returned ho, they saw Tang Chuxia sitting next to the elder sister-in-law.

At that mont, the elder sister-in-law’s eyes were red from crying, and even Madam Tang wasn’t coddling her anymore.

Shedding tears during the postpartum confinent period would only lead to her own suffering.

"Stop crying. If you don’t want to suffer from painful eyes when you’re older, then shut up!"

Madam Tang was truly angry.

She saw her elder daughter-in-law begin to sob again and, massaging her temples, said to Tang Jianguo, "I don’t care how you do it, but you need to make sure your wife properly goes through her confinent!"

Tang Jianguo was a man of action. He picked up his wife and carried her back to their room.

He had co to realize that his wife just wouldn’t listen to anyone.

After the couple entered their room, Tang Jianbing curiously asked, "Where did you find her?"

It would have been better not to ask, because the question got Madam Tang riled up again. The elder sister-in-law hadn’t actually run away from ho; she was rely hiding in an abandoned courtyard in the back alley, probably thinking no one would find her. If it weren’t for a neighbor who spotted her and told Madam Tang to look there, she might never have been found.

Tang Chuxia sighed, "Elder sister-in-law must be sick. You shouldn’t expect too much from her; she’s probably under a lot of pressure!"

Madam Tang, frustrated, started pacing around the room, "She’s under pressure? She dared to treat my grandson like that. I haven’t even settled the score with her. Ever since she gave birth, she’s been making trouble. I’ve been indulgent, Ah Duo and licorice have been taking care of her, and we’ve all been helping. What more does she want?"

There probably weren’t many daughters-in-law who received the kind of treatnt the elder sister-in-law did.

Yet, even so, she still created drama and caused trouble.

Madam Tang couldn’t understand, and neither could the rest of the Tang Family.

Tang Chuxia could understand, but even if she explained to her family that the elder sister-in-law was suffering from postpartum depression and was particularly sensitive, amplifying every small issue emotionally, it was probable that they wouldn’t understand.

"Mom, just think, my great-nephew finally ca into this world. As his mother, shouldn’t we be a bit more lenient with elder sister-in-law?"

Tang Chuxia gently shook Madam Tang’s arm.

Madam Tang had no choice; after all, she didn’t want her daughter to be troubled.

"Alright, I’ll listen to you, I won’t hold it against her. We’ll deal with her after her confinent period is over."

Regardless, Tang Chuxia thought it was quite impressive of Madam Tang to be receptive to her words.

Thinking about her elder brother’s temper, Tang Chuxia dragged Tang Jianbing to eavesdrop at the corner of the elder brother and sister-in-law’s room.

But before they could even settle in, they heard a loud bang.
