Gu Beihuai grabbed Tang Chuxia by the ear and lifted her up.
"Tang Chuxia, if you can’t talk properly, I can help seal your mouth shut!"
Tang Chuxia: "..."
Actually, she was just trying to lighten the mood.
Luckily, she also knew that Gu Beihuai was in a bad mood, probably because he had discovered sothing.
As a woman with great adaptability, Tang Chuxia knew when to bend and when to stand firm.
She carefully asked, "What’s wrong?"
Gu Beihuai gritted his teeth, wanting nothing more than to give Tang Chuxia a good scolding.
"Move out!"
"Got it!!"
Tang Chuxia responded so casually that A, B, C, and D almost burst out laughing.
If it weren’t for the inappropriate timing, they would have gladly beco best buddies with Tang Chuxia.
Who doesn’t like a lively character?
Gu Beihuai was not going to indulge them in this idea and, with a dark face, pulled Tang Chuxia along to continue exploring.
Tang Chuxia sighed, "If not for the fact that you’re not strong enough, I would’ve made you carry !" Tang Chuxia fiddled with her tracker, allowing Gu Beihuai to hold her by her collar, assisting her as they moved.
Gu Beihuai reminded her irritably, "Do you have so misunderstanding about your combat skills? I can carry you?"
Tang Chuxia thought for a mont and said quite seriously, "Indeed, I am such a beautiful woman; it’s not proper for you to carry !"
Gu Beihuai, not keeping up with her train of thought, asked in confusion.
"Naturally, because you are ugly!"
Gu Beihuai: ...
Tang Chuxia sensed the growing tension beside her and imdiately backed down.
Provoking him too much, and she would be the one to suffer.
She imdiately laughed awkwardly, "I was wrong, I was wrong! I really was wrong! Let’s keep looking for my brother!"
Gu Beihuai, annoyed, offered, "I’ll carry you!"
Tang Chuxia was shocked. She turned to look at Huang Yaqin, who laughed and said, "If you’re tired, just say so, Xiao Gu can surely help, can’t he?"
Tang Chuxia nodded.
"Exactly, since I’m his nominal wife, how could I let anyone else carry ?" said Tang Chuxia as she jumped onto Gu Beihuai’s back.
"Giddy up, let’s go!!!"
In her mont of arrogance, Tang Chuxia naturally earned herself a slap on the behind from Gu Beihuai.
"Can you treat like a human?" Gu Beihuai was truly exasperated.
Tang Chuxia got hit and was a bit angry, "I thought you were Pigsy!"
Peng Fei, following behind, was puzzled, "Pigsy wasn’t a person though!"
Brother A chid in, "Even if he was Pigsy, you wouldn’t use ’Giddy up’, to make a pig run, you should say: Lo-lo-lo..."
Tang Chuxia applauded, "Right, you’re the best, brother!"
Gu Beihuai shouted, "Shut up!!!"
Tang Chuxia: ...
Brother A: ...
Peng Fei: ...
He didn’t say anything, just beca "the boss"!
He was angry!
He was really angry!
Tang Chuxia wrapped her arms around Gu Beihuai’s neck and whispered into his ear, "Hubby~~~"
Gu Beihuai: ...his calf started cramping!
Did this woman know what she was doing?
"Don’t be mad. I was just trying to lighten the mood, so no one looks so grim and scary!" Tang Chuxia reasoned.
Gu Beihuai felt his ears burning.
He wanted to remind Tang Chuxia not to talk directly into his ear but, for so reason, didn’t, and let her keep murmuring by his ear.
The soft breaths brushing against the hairs of his ear were more tornting than the surrounding vines.
Fortunately, the beeping of the tracker in Tang Chuxia’s hand distracted him from that unfamiliar feeling.
"Stop!"
Tang Chuxia patted Gu Beihuai’s shoulder and jumped off his back.
She wandered with the tracker until it suddenly started shrieking wildly in one direction.
"This way!" Tang Chuxia no longer wore her playful smile; her whole deanor was sharp and focused.
She started sprinting imdiately.
Gu Beihuai and the others barely had ti to ask what was happening before following Tang Chuxia.
Tang Chuxia was fast, equipped with a machete and extraordinary strength. Any obstacles were nonexistent before her; anything she could chop, she chopped, and what she couldn’t, she kicked away.
It was the first ti A, B, C, and D witnessed Tang Chuxia using her divine power, their eyes unable to keep up, just feeling that Tang Chuxia paving the path ahead was like a human tank.
A cleared path left behind her.
Wouldn’t soone like this be incredibly formidable in the wilderness?
Ignoring the thoughts of A, B, C, and D, Tang Chuxia suddenly stopped after reaching a position.
Gu Beihuai and Huang Yaqin caught up, especially Gu Beihuai, who yelled at Tang Chuxia, "Why are you running randomly? Do you know how dangerous it is here?"
Tang Chuxia nodded, swinging the machete in her hand and severing a snake lunging at her, her expression indifferent as though it were a stranger.
"I found Third Brother!" Tang Chuxia’s voice was unusually calm.
Even if she hadn’t spoken, Huang Yaqin and Gu Beihuai saw it too. Facing them was a cliff, and Tang Chuxia pointed to a hanging figure swaying in the wind beside the cliff.
Gu Beihuai, Peng Fei, and the rest were shocked at the sight and quickly sought ways to rescue him.
Tang Chuxia looked around, expressing that by the ti they figured it out, the person would have fallen and beco a pile of mush.
Huang Yaqin slumped to the ground, her legs giving out.
The person dangling on the opposite side was Tang Jianzheng.
Everyone here, except for Tang Chuxia, recognized him at a glance as Tang Jianzheng.
Tang Chuxia looked around, found a large tree and so vines. Although they had ropes, none were long enough when tied together to be of much use.
Tang Chuxia uprooted a large tree and kicked it down to act as a beam between two huge rocks.
She wrapped the vines around and, amidst the cries of Gu Beihuai and Peng Fei, swung down the cliff holding the vine.
"She’s gone mad!!!"
Huang Yaqin scrambled to her feet, trying to grab Tang Chuxia but failed.
Tang Chuxia acted too decisively!
Gu Beihuai, Peng Fei, and the brothers A, B, C, and D were too far to reach her; no one expected Tang Chuxia to act so boldly, jumping without any safety asures.
They could only watch anxiously as Tang Chuxia swung down, using the vine to move along the cliff face.
She occasionally pressed her hand against the rocks to grab stones and pelted them at a flock of circling eagles in mid-air.
The eagles surrounding Tang Jianzheng and attempting to attack him were no match for Tang Chuxia’s remarkable throwing skills, plumting down the cliff one by one.
Tang Jianzheng looked at Tang Chuxia descending from the sky, his eyes squinting as he gave her the middle finger.
