Madam Tang tried calling back, but Third Brother Tang was already unreachable.
Even the phone call couldn’t get through. No one knew where Third Brother Tang had placed the call from.
Madam Tang dared not take it lightly and hurried to discuss it with the whole family.
After hearing Madam Tang’s description, everyone in the family had the sa feeling.
"Third Brother has never made such a phone call before!" Tang Jianguo was the first to speak up.
Tang Jianjun imdiately followed with a question, "Is it possible that Third Brother was joking?"
"How could that be possible? Third Brother never jokes!" Tang Jianbing chid in.
Of the whole family, Tang Chuxia probably knew Tang Jianzheng the least.
This legendary brother, whom she only knew through the mories of the original owner, was an extrely formidable figure, even more miraculous than Tang Chuxia. Not to ntion his intelligence beyond ordinary people, just his ability to succeed in whatever he wanted was one in a million.
Tang Chuxia saw the whole family discussing, each one speculating about Tang Jianzheng’s intentions.
"Everyone, is it possible that Third Brother risked making a mistake to warn our mom?"
Tang Chuxia’s words instantly made the atmosphere tense.
It wasn’t an impossibility. If that were the case, then things would get complicated.
Madam Tang turned pale, thoughts of a certain possibility crossed her mind, while the other military mbers, Tang Jianguo and Tang Jianjun, looked solemn.
"No matter what, we should listen to Third Brother!" That was Tang Jianguo’s opinion.
Tang Chuxia didn’t really care.
Though she didn’t understand their seriousness, it was best to always take precautions.
But when it ca to getting married, choosing a marriage partner had to be done carefully.
Although it was previously said that Tang Chuxia and Gu Beihuai were to be wed, could they really just go and register for marriage all of a sudden?
Not to ntion Gu Beihuai’s identity, going through the processes would be troubleso.
"At this ti, only a bachelor could make it possible!" Now they were facing the sa predicant as when they had to go to the countryside.
Tang Chuxia thought there was no need to panic, believing things were not so troubleso, but Madam Tang was not reassured.
"I’m going to talk to your Aunt Hong. If Huai really can’t make it, then we’ll find soone else." Madam Tang didn’t want Tang Chuxia to take risks, as Third Brother’s words made her scalp tingle.
Tang Chuxia let out a sound, indicating she wanted to go with Madam Tang, but she disagreed.
"Discussing matters of marriage, you shouldn’t co along. It will be fine with just your father and !" Madam Tang looked towards Father Tang, who had been without much presence.
Father Tang made a sound and stood up, seeming out of sorts, but at the mont, no one paid him much attention, simply thinking he was worried about Tang Chuxia.
Father Tang and Madam Tang went to the Gu Family’s house, leaving the siblings in their house to begin discussing.
No matter what, Tang Chuxia thought this matter was rather strange, but after analyzing it over and over, they couldn’t find a clue. Furthermore, if marrying Gu Beihuai was going to be complicated, whom should they consider next?
"How about Lin Qingchen?"
Tang Jianbing ntioned in a low voice, only to be t with a sigh from Tang Chuxia.
Lin Qingchen was probably spending the New Year on the mountain; how could he rush back? Even if he could, it would be a headache to notify him.
If neither Gu Beihuai nor Lin Qingchen could get married, they really needed to find a suitable person, and it was giving everyone a bit of a headache.
Everyone listed out all the suitable people they could think of, passionately discussing, when Gu Nanzhi ca hopping over.
"Emotions are real!" Gu Nanzhi sat next to Tang Chuxia, seemingly doubting her life.
"What?" Tang Chuxia pulled her to sit down, and from her expression, she knew Gu Nanzhi must be here for so gossip.
"What else could it be, just now your parents ca to my house to propose marriage. It’s just that my brother wasn’t ho; if he were, he would probably be going crazy right now!" Gu Nanzhi grabbed an orange from the table and started peeling it.
Tang Chuxia clearly rembered that Gu Beihuai had just gone ho.
"My brother went over to Brother Haipeng’s place to drink together. My mom asked to find him, so I ca here first to confirm the news before going to look for him!" After Gu Nanzhi finished, Tang Chuxia affird the information.
"Why though? Didn’t you say it was just to hook up with my brother and then teach him a lesson? How has it turned serious?" Gu Nanzhi didn’t understand.
Everyone else in the room also had a mont of realization, no wonder Tang Chuxia had been acting so oddly lately, they thought she had finally changed and was getting along peacefully with Gu Beihuai. Little did they know she was up to sothing.
Tang Chuxia felt a headache coming on, realizing that Gu Nanzhi, her potential future sister-in-law, might be difficult to deal with.
"That, could it be that affection grows over ti?"
She offered a reason, and Gu Nanzhi chuckled, "It’s not impossible, but is it likely between you and my brother? After so many years of mutual loathing, now suddenly there are feelings?"
Gu Nanzhi reminded the Tang Family.
They all thought there was no chance between Tang Chuxia and Gu Beihuai.
Tang Chuxia sighed, sowhat regretting knowing Gu Nanzhi, regretting the words she had said to her in the past, which had now beco a stumbling block for herself.
Gu Nanzhi’s words also made Tang Chuxia realize that marrying Gu Beihuai would definitely be troubleso.
"Let’s still look at other options, shall we? Do you think Grandma might know soone suitable? Should I go and ask?" Tang Jianjun was eager to go over and inquire.
Gu Nanzhi noticed sothing was amiss; it wasn’t that Tang Chuxia was stirring up trouble, but that she was serious about getting married, to anyone at all.
How could that be?
She knew sothing must have happened, otherwise, the Tang Family wouldn’t be so anxious.
She handed the peeled orange to Licorice, who was sitting nicely beside her, before grabbing Tang Chuxia’s arm, "You must get married? No matter to whom?"
Tang Chuxia nodded and even solemnly stated, "The sooner, the better; as soon as tomorrow if possible, the kind that can get the marriage certificate!"
Gu Nanzhi finally took the situation seriously; she understood that this was no ti for jokes. Tang Chuxia must be facing a situation similar to the one where she had to marry Hu Mingcheng.
Quickly responding, "I’m going to find my brother!"
This matter couldn’t be delayed, or she might beco the villain.
Even though, Gu Nanzhi also knew getting married the next day wasn’t quite realistic.
Let alone being able to get the marriage certificate the next day, just the rush of it all was a problem.
Gu Nanzhi ran off, not paying attention to Tang Chuxia calling out from behind.
She couldn’t let her good friend suffer lifelong regrets due to her own neglect.
Tang Chuxia, unable to stop her, could only say to her brothers, "Actually, it’s not necessary to get married. Third Brother’s urgency, after all, is just because soone wants to marry , isn’t it? Could anyone really control my marriage?"
After Tang Chuxia stated this, everyone thought it made sense, but often tis, marriages really could be beyond their control.
Tang Jianguo was considering giving so examples but feared scaring his sister; caught in hesitation about whether to speak, Tang Jianbing interjected, "A person who can make Third Brother afraid must be quite significant, right?"
While they were still undecided, the pale-faced future third sister-in-law who had said she was going ho for the New Year burst in.
"Xiaxia, sothing has happened to your Third Brother!"
