Dazareth raised his throne-blade again.

This ti, it carried no law.

Only weight.

"This is the final judgnt. Survive it, and I’ll recognize you."

Leon didn’t brace.

He stepped forward.

Every fragnt of his journey rose around him.

Obsidian Floors.

Dwarven Fires.

Echoes of Ti.

The Architect he freed. The team he built. The world he shaped.

And he struck—not with hate.

But with conviction.

The floor shattered.

The throne-blade cracked in two.

Dazareth was forced to his knees.

Silence fell.

Then the black sun cracked—and light poured in.

Tower System Update

Duel Complete – Victor: Leon Aetheren

Title Earned: Bastion Warden

Architect Acknowledgnt: Dazareth – Status: Aligned

Legitimacy Confird

Throne Halls Access – Unlocked

Dazareth stood slowly, gaze steady.

"You are not a mont," he said.

"You are the beginning of a new era."

And for the first ti in countless cycles—

He bowed.

Leon looked upward.

And the Tower opened.

A thousand layers waited.

But for once—

They did not feel like obstacles.

They felt like kingdoms to unite.

Post-Duel, Throne Halls Unsealed

Leon stood at the edge of the Convergence, eyes fixed on the heavens above—now parted, golden light pouring from cracks in the sky. He hadn’t rested since the duel. Couldn’t. Not yet.

Behind him, Dazareth remained silent, arms crossed behind his back. Not as a challenger. Not even as a forr adversary.

But as a witness.

The Warden had knelt. The Tower had responded.

And now it waited.

The Bastion was in celebration when Leon returned—but it wasn’t loud. It wasn’t parades or fireworks.

It was quieter. Heavier.

There was respect in every glance.

Roselia t him first, her armor still partially worn, eyes scanning his face. "You don’t look victorious."

Leon offered a tired smile. "Victory wasn’t the goal."

Kael raised an eyebrow. "Then what was?"

Leon looked upward. "The gate was."

And it was open now.

The Throne Halls.

Hours Later – Within the Halls

The Throne Halls were not a city.

They were a storm of floating palaces and logic-temples, bound by laws written into the fabric of space. Every "room" was a domain. So large enough to hold moons, others as small as a decision made long ago.

Leon stepped through the archway first, his team behind him—Roselia, Roman, Naval, Milim, Kael, and Ryn.

Imdiately, the Tower whispered:

[New Entity Detected – Governance Potential Confird]

The space responded. A pathway of light shaped itself ahead, leading to an empty dais.

Not an arena.

A Seat.

"It’s not a throne," Roselia said, stepping beside him.

"No," Leon agreed. "It’s an offer."

"A claim?" Kael asked.

Leon shook his head. "A responsibility."

He stepped toward it—but didn’t sit.

Instead, he placed his hand on the carved armrest, and spoke only four words.

"I claim this Bastion."

The Tower answered.

System Notification

[Sovereign Protocol Accepted]

Domain Registered: Bastion Aether

Status: Semi-Autonomous Seat

Rights Granted: Law Input Tier I, Summit Access (Dormant), Legacy Pathways (Sealed)

Additional Effect: Your actions now echo downward. Every floor below Bastion Aether will feel your influence.

Silence followed. Until Roman let out a breath.

"So... this is it, huh?"

Leon glanced back. "No."

He looked upward.

"This is just the first seat."

Milim laughed. "You’re gonna claim more?"

Leon turned toward the shifting halls. "Not for power. Not for pride. Because the Tower left them empty... and soone has to fill them."

Elsewhere...

Across the Architect Layer and beyond, the ripples spread.

In the Dormant Floors, old Sovereigns stirred.

In forbidden regions, forgotten Legacies shuddered open.

And in one sealed realm at the Tower’s root—sothing ancient opened one eye.

It had no na. Only mory.

Of when the Tower was first shaped.

And it whispered...

"...Another one dares to unify..."

Back in the Throne Halls, Leon took one last look at the sealed pathways above.

Not all Seats would be offered.

So, he’d have to take.

But for the first ti, the Tower wasn’t endless.

It was his to shape.

And so, he stepped forward again.

Toward the next seat.

Leon and his team stood at the edge of a massive corridor made entirely of translucent crystal, suspended over a slow-turning sea of fractured thrones. Unlike the Bastion, unlike even the Architect domains, this area of the Tower felt cold—not in temperature, but in recognition.

No na greeted them.

No echo responded.

This place was abandoned.

Roselia’s footsteps echoed as they walked. "How long do you think this sector’s been dead?"

Kael brushed his hand along a wall—runes there were worn, partially collapsed. "At least a thousand cycles, maybe more. There was a war here. You can still feel it."

Leon said nothing. His focus was ahead—where the path ended at a shattered dais. A throne once stood there, clearly. What remained was only the pedestal, blackened and broken.

Milim squinted. "Is that scorch from energy... or sothing else?"

Roman knelt down. "No residual spell traces. This wasn’t destroyed by magic. It was dismantled on purpose."

"That ans whoever sat here," Naval murmured, "chose to abandon their claim."

Leon stepped up to the shattered throne.

And the system finally responded.

Tower Notice – Forgotten Seat Identified

Classification: Null Seat – Reclamation Possible

Status: Ghosted by Forr Authority

Risk: Unknown

Challenge: Will Manifest Based on Intent

Do you wish to attempt reclaiming this throne?

Leon didn’t hesitate.

"Yes."

The mont he spoke, the air changed.

Not violently. Not with fla or wind.

But with presence.

A voice echoed—not from the throne, but from the space behind it.

"You wish to revive what I erased?"

Leon turned slowly. The figure standing there was not monstrous. Not regal. He looked like a man in his late thirties. Weathered. Calm. Pale skin, long dark hair tied back, robes marked with fading sigils.

But his eyes...

They were hollow.

Not evil. Not insane.

Empty.

Leon asked, "You were the Sovereign of this seat?"

"I was," the man replied. "And I left. Because ruling the Tower doesn’t an reshaping it. It ans burying the cost."

He stepped forward. "So if you wish to claim this domain... you’ll need to prove why you won’t beco what I did."
