He fell to the floor, eyes wide.

And didn't move.

The Collapse Core pulsed.

Once.

Twice.

Then dimd.

The control console blinked red.

Null Thread Disconnected

Collapse Sequence Terminated

Pulse Stabilizing…

Aris stood over Renic's body.

Leon stepped beside her, slowly lowering his weapon.

"It's over."

Kael scanned the core. "He rigged half the floor. If he'd made it here five minutes earlier…"

"He didn't," Aris said.

Leon looked at her. "You okay?"

She didn't answer imdiately.

Then she turned, walked to the pulse console, and placed her hand on it.

Her rhythm flowed into the grid.

The lights steadied.

The floor… exhaled.

Then she looked back at Leon.

"Yeah. I'm okay."

Hours later — Floor 307 Sovereign Hall

The team stood together in front of the Tower map, watching as Floor 307's status changed to green.

Kael leaned against a wall. "The Choir's plan failed. This ti."

Roman folded his arms. "But they'll be back."

Aris looked at her baton.

"They can co," she said. "I'll be ready."

Leon nodded.

"Next ti, they won't face the Tower. They'll face us."

Three days had passed since the Collapse Core was disard.

Floor 307 was stable again. The rhythm lines had fully recovered, and the silence scars in the mory sectors were sealed. But the tension hadn't faded.

Everyone knew this wasn't the end.

It was a pause.

Aris stood on the balcony of the Sovereign Hall, watching the training arena below. Young Ascenders sparred with new confidence, mimicking her stances, swinging makeshift batons.

She didn't smile.

Not yet.

Inside, a small gathering had assembled.

No gold banners. No crowds. Just a quiet group of Sovereigns and core staff—those who had fought beside her and those who understood what it ant.

Leon stood at the center, dressed in full field attire. He didn't like formal robes.

Kael stood beside him, arms folded, watching Aris as she finally stepped into the room.

The hall quieted.

Leon cleared his throat.

"Three days ago," he said, "this floor ca within monts of being erased—not just destroyed, but forgotten."

No one interrupted.

He continued.

"Not by an army. Not by war. But by one man. One plan. One thread."

He looked at Aris.

"And she stopped it."

Kael stepped forward with a small case.

He opened it.

Inside was a slender pendant, etched with her personal rhythm line. It wasn't flashy—just polished silver and crystal. But it glowed faintly with her pulse signature.

Kael held it out.

"Floor 307 recognizes Aris Vale as its Vanguard. Not just a protector—but a proof."

Aris blinked. "Proof?"

Kael nodded. "That one rhythm, no matter how new, can fight the silence."

She took the pendant, fingers closing around it carefully.

No big speech.

No tears.

Just a quiet, firm nod.

"Thank you," she said.

Later, Leon caught up with her in the corridor.

"You still don't like the title?"

"It's not that," Aris said, running her fingers over the pendant. "I just… don't feel like it's over."

Leon nodded. "Because it isn't."

She looked at him.

"What's next?"

He held up a small pulse chip. "We intercepted a fragnt. Choir signal. Not from this floor."

Her eyes narrowed.

"Where?"

"Floor 334," he said. "They've already started suppressing the local tempo. No declaration. No warning."

Aris clipped the pendant to her uniform and grabbed her baton.

"Then we go."

Leon smiled faintly. "Not alone this ti."

Elsewhere — Tower Floor 334

A dim chamber flickered with static rhythm.

Three Choir Voices stood in silence.

One finally spoke.

"She broke the Collapse."

Another replied, voice cold.

"Then we break her."

The third one—masked in black—raised its hand.

"Let the next aria begin."

The descent to Floor 334 was quiet.

No briefings. No announcents. The Sovereigns kept it low-profile—classified mission, small team only.

Aris stood inside the drop shuttle with Leon, Kael, and Roselia. Roman stayed back to monitor Floor 307, while Milim and Liliana remained on standby in case the Choir hit elsewhere.

As the doors closed, Kael looked up from his data pad.

"This floor was used for tempo culture and rhythm research. They specialized in harmonic weaponry."

Aris raised an eyebrow. "And now?"

He tilted the screen toward her.

The map of Floor 334 pulsed in slow, jagged beats. Entire sectors dimd out. One central district glowed faint red.

Leon added, "The pulse lines aren't just weak—they're being rerouted. Like soone rewired the entire floor."

Aris nodded slowly.

"Soone's building a stage."

Floor 334 – Arrival Zone

The mont they stepped out of the shuttle, they felt it.

Wrong.

Not broken—but off.

The air carried a faint vibration, like being near a speaker with no music playing.

Kael imdiately began scanning the pulse grid. "Minimal interference near the entry point. But up ahead—"

He pointed toward the skyline.

At the center of the floor, a tower of floating platforms spiraled toward the ceiling. Red lights blinked in sequence around it, like a tempo display.

Roselia narrowed her eyes. "It's a tempo scaffold. Stage design for massive rhythm projections."

"Why build that?" Aris asked.

Leon looked ahead.

"To challenge us."

They moved carefully through the outer districts. Abandoned research centers. Hollow labs. Even the drones were gone.

Kael paused beside a cracked info board. He tapped the surface and pulled up an old floor status log.

It flashed.

Welco to Floor 334 – Harmonic Arts Division

Status: INTERFACE BLOCKED

Override Active – Choir Tag Detected

Aris clenched her baton.

"They're not hiding."

"No," Leon said. "They want us to co."

As they entered the central ring of the floor, music began.

Not real music.

A warped imitation.

It echoed through the air in broken, distorted notes—pulsing through the empty city like the Tower was trying to rember a song and failing.

On a nearby wall, a ssage shimred into view.

VANGUARD ARIS VALE

STEP FORWARD

Kael's brow furrowed. "They're calling you out directly."

Leon scanned the skyline. "Eyes up. That scaffold isn't just a monunt. It's a stage."

Roselia touched her earpiece. "I'm detecting movent at the top. Choir signal—faint, but deliberate."

Kael looked at Aris.

"They're putting on a show."

Aris stepped forward.

Then looked back at them.

"Then let's bring the whole floor to its feet."
