Their destination was the Arvanis Gate, the portal that connected to Arvanis World, the dark land ruled by vampires.

As they approached the towering archway pulsating with eerie crimson light, Roselia hesitated. "Are we really doing this?" she asked, gripping her sword. "Arvanis isn't just so random world; it's one of the deadliest out there."

Leon didn't slow down. "We don't have a choice. Milim was taken, and I won't sit back while she's forced into a battle to the death."

Roman just shrugged. "Well, we always did enjoy getting into trouble."

" its like we are magnets for trouble"

A portal guardian, clad in dark robes with glowing runes etched onto his mask, stepped forward. "State your reason for passage into Arvanis," he demanded, his voice cold and chanical.

Leon t his gaze without flinching. "We're here to participate in the Royal Selection Tournant of the Gravis Kingdom there."

The guardian tilted his head slightly before stepping aside. "Entry granted. May you survive the darkness." Experience new stories on My Virtual Library Empire

Without hesitation, Leon and his group stepped through the crimson portal, vanishing into the unknown.

The mont they erged on the other side, their eyes adjusted to the dim, crimson-tinged atmosphere. They found themselves inside a massive building bustling with activity.

"Get your Temporary IDs and welco to Arvanis," a brief yet sharp-voiced female vampire announced, her piercing red eyes scanning them. Around them, there were other newcors—so looking like adventurers, while others seed like re tourists.

"This world is… eerie," Roselia murmured, looking up at the Night Garden, an ethereal display of bioluminescent flora illuminating the darkness.

Arvanis was a world of eternal night, yet life had adapted. Strange glowing plants stretched toward the darkened sky, and trees with translucent, shimring leaves pulsed with energy. Even the air felt heavier, charged with a mystical force.

"Nature always finds a way to exist," Leon said, admiring the beautiful plants. But just as he was about to touch one, a vampire lady warned him kindly, "You shouldn't touch the glowing ones. They are killers—poisonous. One touch, and you're dead." She then continued strolling through the deadly yet srizing garden.

"A beautiful danger," Leon murmured as he pulled his hand back, letting his eyes admire the breathtaking yet poisonous wonders around him.

They spent so ti exploring, where nature blended seamlessly with the eerie architecture of Gravis Kingdom. As they sat near a resting area, they noticed that most of the people around them were vampires, but there were also so werewolves present.

"You're going to see the Gravis Blood Match, right?" a young vampire kid asked. Leon and the others nodded.

"They're a crazy bunch," another vampire sneered. "Normally, drinking the blood of your own kin drives you mad, yet those bastards get stronger instead. They're freaking cannibals—they should all just die!"

Another vampire nearby scoffed, shaking his head. "They're sacred-blood vampires—we can't just kill them, even if we wanted to. A single one of those guys could overpower ten others of the sa rank."

Leon listened quietly, his eyes sharp as he absorbed the information. Sacred-blood vampires—strong enough to overpower ten of their own rank? That ant Millim's captors weren't just any vampires; they were elites among their kind.

Roselia leaned closer, whispering, "Looks like getting her back won't be easy. If their bloodline gives them such an advantage, fighting them head-on might not be the best approach."

Roman, however, scoffed. "Then we just get stronger. We already know where the match is happening. We enter, we win, and we take her back. Simple."

Leon shook his head. "It's never that simple, Roman. These aren't normal vampires; they have centuries of battle experience. Even if we enter the Blood Match, we need more information first."

"You guys want to enter that Blood Match? Do you know any of the royalty?" a vampire guy asked.

Leon nodded. "Yes, her na is Millim."

The vampire's eyes widened slightly before he whistled. "You an the runaway princess? Damn, you sure are setting yourself up for trouble wanting that beauty." He smirked, eyeing Leon with interest.

"She's the only sane person one in that madman's family," another vampire chid in. "She even ran away because of their damn blood ritual."

Leon frowned. "Yeah, but a few people ca to take her back, and now she's there."

The first vampire clicked his tongue. "Then they must be the Death Guards. They're the royal knights of the Gravis Kingdom—powerful, emotionless killing machines."

Leon nodded, absorbing the information.

"Nasty business," another vampire said. "I guess you're entering as her partner, huh? Best of luck saving your girl, man."

"Damn, one can already write an story of your bravery."

"We'll be honored guests at your funeral."

Another vampire, with arms crossed, scoffed. "What an unrealistic drear. You seriously think a human can go against those mad mans?" The others nodded in agreent.

"Well, we can hope," one of them shrugged.

"Or dream," another chuckled.

Leon's lips twitched in amusent. "I didn't imagine things would turn out this entertaining," he thought.

Leon simply smirked at their skepticism but didn't bother arguing. He had faced worse odds before.

"Anyway, where do we register?" he asked.

The vampire who had been speaking earlier pointed toward a massive obsidian tower in the distance. "Over there. That's the Blood Plaza. It connects portals to all major vampire territories, including the Gravis Kingdom. Registration for the Blood Match is done inside."

Roselia narrowed her eyes as she studied the structure. "It looks more like a fortress than a plaza."

The vampire chuckled. "That's because it is. The Blood Matches are no joke. Only the strongest participate. Even if you're royalty, you need to prove your worth in battle. No exceptions."

Guards stood at the entrance—tall, armored vampires with glowing crimson eyes. One of them stepped forward, his gaze piercing. "State your purpose."

Leon t his gaze without hesitation. "We're here to register for the Blood Match. I will be entering as Millim's partner."

" we will have to confirm first" Said the Guard as he nodded letting them do as they wish.
