Chapter 1919: Chapter 1917: Facing the Deep Sea
As Han Dong slid out along the neural pathways.
A majestic sound like a fierce tsunami crashed into the depths of his consciousness. Though the pressure was imnse, it instantly dispelled any drowsiness.
Han Dong also wore a smile, knowing well that he had co to the right place.
"Greetings, my lord."
Han Dong’s body was completely pressed to the ground, expressing piety while quietly observing the [Main Brain Area].
The ground’s texture lay between soft flesh and seawater; without any asures, the body would slowly sink downward.
Han Dong imdiately activated the "Floating Corpse Inner Canon" to balance buoyancy and gravity.
The hues of this fleshy texture constantly shifted between light and dark blue,
with nerve pathways of various diaters ranging from 3m to 50m crisscrossing here,
perhaps fewer deep-sea divers than the fingers on a human hand have ever reached this place throughout ancient tis.
At this mont, the sound like crashing tides once again surged through his consciousness:
"Co, co to the deepest place... I will personally guide you to the [Seal Place]."
"Yes."
With permission granted, Han Dong slowly stood up.
With the lightest steps, he moved through this brain layer that resembled both flesh and water.
He constantly needed to duck and weave around massive neural pathways that crossed obliquely.
This space was even larger than the main temple of Laleye.
During his traversal, Han Dong also realized a ’size issue’ about the Deep-sea Dominator.
Unlike the other "Upper Beings" Han Dong had seen,
this Deep-sea Dominator didn’t compact its size, expressing its original form and size even in slumber.
Han Dong pondered:
’Assuming the main temple at Laleye is just a part of the brain of the Deep-sea Dominator.
And those flesh-like tubes that can accommodate several or even dozens of people belong to the cerebrum’s nerves... then how big is this Deep-sea Dominator really?
I once had an encounter with the Deep-sea Dominator in Earth’s seas,
when I stood on the surface of one of Its eyeballs, and just one eyeball almost filled that sea area.
Could it be... Damn!’
Through extrely complex proportion calculations, Han Dong reached a terrifying conclusion.
’Could it be that even the entire [Deep Sea] can’t hold It?
On the way to Laleye, were the endless mountain ranges with heights of tens of thousands of ters also extensions of the Dominator’s limbs?
Indeed,
this is why the [Deep Sea] connects with all the oceanic areas of the S-01 world, allowing Its limbs to extend freely... only by leveraging the cosmic ocean can this Dominator be ’barely contained.’
In other words,
all the cosmic sea areas are assembled together through the [Deep Sea] to form a ’super-sized bed,’ allowing It to sleep comfortably.
My initial eting with the Dominator wasn’t by chance, because a part of the Dominator exists in the depths of every ocean.
What an exaggeration! How gigantic is this?’
When Han Dong realized this, a fear welled up from the depths of his soul, a primal fear of a creature vastly larger than himself.
However, this fear gradually turned into reverence.
Unconsciously, Han Dong arrived at the deepest part of the main brain area.
There stood a square pillar that clashed with its environnt, rooted in the flesh of the main brain.
It rose hundreds of ters high,
its surface dotted with tiny holes, exuding various dark hues of luster,
with no materials symbolizing the deep sea, nor inscriptions or murals, instead recording so information in a more ancient and secretive way.
Atop the pillar sat a sculpture of the "Sleeper."
"Could this sculpture be..."
The ’Sleeper’ in Han Dong’s sight had an octopus-like head, its face abounding with tentacles, and its body, covered in jet-black scales, lay between rubber and crystal stone.
It sat upright with a slight curve in the back, both arms resting on its knees... maintaining this posture in sleep.
Though a stone sculpture,
its bloated body subtly moved with breathing, a fluid at its lips, possibly a source of seawater.
Each drop could form a small sea area.
As Han Dong faced the pillar, about to kneel in worship,
clang clang clang~ the sound of tal boots ca from behind.
Before Han Dong could turn around,
creak creak~ tentacles dripping with sea-scented sli attached themselves to Han Dong’s entire head,
the suction cups of the tentacles continuously sucking on every inch of his skin, a rather familiar voice ca from behind:
"To be able to co here directly and et .
It seems that it’s not just the effect of the grey head,
you inherently possess extraordinary ntal abilities and unconventional perseverance... Why choose this way to et?
If you let Hyde lead you, you could easily et
in your dreams."
Han Dong did not turn back, nor did he resist, letting the octopus tentacles adhere to the surface of his brain... feeling the embrace of the sea, he spoke respectfully:
"I deeply apologize for my rude behavior, I’m willing to accept any form of punishnt.
The reason I didn’t choose to sleep... is just because of my personal curiosity, which arose when I stepped into the Main Temple.
I discerned that the ’seawater’ in the temple belongs to a kind of brain fluid.
To uncover the truth behind this sleep, I attempted to explore the temple, not expecting that the upper part of the temple is just a part of your external brain domain."
"Hmm~ Curiosity, is it?
No wonder several Old Kings, including those in the void, are quite fond of you.
Being the first to uncover the essence of my resting place... among the mythic bodies, you are the first.
Punishnt is irrelevant, I sleep in the sea, and enjoy dreams. It’s been a long ti since I’ve seen such an interesting young person like you.
Get up, I will guide you to the Seal place.
The Dead Spirit Remnants, although they pose no threat to , require vigilance at all tis. If you can take it away, I can sleep more peacefully."
As Han Dong slowly turned around,
the Deep Sea Dominate who ca to lead him presented a human-like appearance under the at eye... If Han Dong wished to see its true form, it would be an entirely different sight.
Actually,
Han Dong had already seen this image at the "Sharp-pointed eting".
A pirate look with dense octopus whiskers on the face.
The tentacles just attached to his head were these ’whiskers’... a sowhat strange picture for conversation.
Wearing clothes similar to a pirate, covered head to toe with shellfish life,
walking in boots soaked with seawater, their surfaces plastered with various tals,
even replacing the right arm with a rusty heavy iron hook,
Han Dong was curious but dared not ask the Deep Sea Dominate why it took on this human form.
Unexpectedly, during the guiding, the Dominate spoke on its own:
"The owner of this human body is a pirate nad ’Robert Eric’ from your Earth, a rare tiny creature that piqued my interest.
Although he had not awakened any abilities, he dared to take his broken ship and dominate his crew to confront the deep sea.
Even though the whole process was aningless, the outco predetermined, this guy never succumbed... he even injured a deep-sea diver with his ridiculous iron hook arm.
Though his flesh completely fell, his consciousness remained firm.
This incident sparked so interest in humans for . When this guy’s corpse returned to the sea, I conveniently made use of it..."
"The courage exhibited by so humans is indeed admirable!" Han Dong responded.
"Unfortunately, still too insignificant.
Speaking of which, your current collection progress seems to be missing only the ’Body Part’ here and the ’Hand Part’ in the Dreamlands... Now that you’ve already got the remnant from the yellow robe, you should have witnessed that guy’s ’return’, right?"
The conversation took a turn, and Han Dong sensed a hint of uneasiness.
"Yes."
"Did he have anything for you to bring to ?"
"This... yes."
Han Dong originally intended to wait until the end to bring it out, lest he provoke the other party prematurely and have the remnant withheld.
Since the Dominate had already asked, Han Dong couldn’t hide any longer... Carefully taking out the Spirit Crystal Stone, it was instantaneously entangled by tentacles.
A ripple spread out in the main brain area, even causing a reaction from the entire Laleye.
Han Dong imdiately lowered his head, trying to shift bla onto the yellow robe as much as possible.
A voice resonated, devoid of anger, surprisingly revealing a hint of cheer:
"How does this deep sea inclination belonging to you fuse with Claire’s soul?"
Han Dong promptly described in detail the fusion situation with Nicole and the Spirit Crystal Stone.
"Such a coincidence.
Claire was once a highly cherished offspring of mine. Her displayed ’secret art potential’ at that ti was in no way inferior compared to [Hyde].
Back then, during her adventurous outing, she inadvertently trespassed into the realm of spirits belonging to the yellow robe, consequently suffering devouring and soul stripping... this incident greatly angered .
However, Claire’s death was sothing I had long accepted.
Didn’t expect that the yellow robe would preserve her complete soul.
This coincidence makes her potential inherited, yet still belongs to the deep sea... I am quite gratified.
After your minion fuses Claire’s soul, she should ’hatch’ in a new form, then allow her to leave a na in the deep sea."
"Alright."
Han Dong hadn’t even realized that he unknowingly beca the greatest beneficiary again.
