Chapter 1877: Chapter 1874: Entering the Library

[Seraino Great Library]

Although once belonging to the area controlled by the Yellow Robe, the internal collection is contributed by nurous ancient races, and even so unknown demons.

Due to the Yellow Robe’s ’casualness’.

Since the library’s construction, it has adopted an exceptionally special open mode.

With the permission of the Yellow Robe King, any race, any creature can donate books... Of course, not all books will be accepted. Donated books must go through two major steps before being collected:

1. Pass the "external review" by the library’s House of Representatives.

2. After passing the external review, submit to the library’s Senate for "internal review."

The external review mainly determines whether the book is eligible to be included in the library,

while the internal review is used to define the book’s type, value, grade, and magical effects, etc.,

placing them in appropriate areas. For so books with ’potential’, the library will spend high costs to invite the author for refinent, completion, or even subsequent recreations.

Moreover, unlike routine libraries,

Seraino Great Library’s review rules are very peculiar, so much so that outsiders can’t grasp them at all, wholly unclear about the internal review process.

So scriptures, magic books, or scrolls believed by many to have extrely high value are unable to pass the external review.

Yet so seemingly valueless storybooks or novel collections from low-rank demons can pass external review, being collected by the library,

even so imnsely weak newborns receive invitations from the [Library], to create there while being cultivated by the Yellow Robe.

Initially, this library was not regarded highly. Many demons thought it was a ’storybook city’ created by the Yellow Robe King out of personal preference, unable to compare with other orthodox libraries.

However, the reality fiercely slapped this group of individuals.

Every century, under the na of the [Void], multiple knowledgeable old kings, mythic bodies (outstanding), conduct an examination and ranking of world-famous libraries.

Due to the extrely cumberso review process, it often takes an entire year.

However,

No matter how the examination is conducted,

even if every century, the examination procedures undergo fair revisions, Seraino Great Library consistently ranks first.

Even the rulers of the void space highly praise the operation mode of this library, calling it ’uncopyable’, ’most practically valuable’ library.

Just as the Void’s evaluation, many old kings subsequently tried to replicate this managent mode but failed to operate.

...

How to go to Seraino Great Library is relatively free too.

Successfully donating books will earn corresponding "point rewards," which can be loaned to others for use, and once used up, one is no longer permitted entry.

Additionally,

Those without points can also undergo a special examination by the House of Representatives, obtaining a chance to delve into the library through ’equal exchange’.

But what to exchange specifically will be a secret between the individual and the library, completely confidential externally.

...

Pope detailed the above basic information about Seraino Great Library to Han Dong and Eugenes.

Of course.

Since this library completely vanished from the main universe during ancient tis, Pope had not been born yet and thus knew about the library solely through written information in books.

Upon landing on the library’s pier, the group instantly subjected to the effects of the "restriction force field,"

feeling the powerful restrictions. Even the void space was closed off, but Pope showed an excited smile and muttered:

"Indeed still operating normally, truly unbelievable! Drifting alone in shattered dinsions, spanning several eras, yet maintaining its original state of being open, truly deserving of the title of the First Library."

Pope’s excitent from his quest for knowledge also prompted him to realize several things.

Why the Yellow Robe was specifically arranged to assist their group, and why his teacher instructed Pope to follow Han Dong in this exploration.

If Han Dong’s objective in dinsional exploration is [Remnant Pages],

Eugenes’s purpose being [Ancient Corpse],

Then Pope’s goal, the answer is already in sight: this lost First Library.

Thinking of this, Pope kneels on the ground with a devout posture, expressing gratitude to Mr. Eugene far away in the deep void.

"This is an opportunity unique to us, let’s go!"

With Pope leading the way, Han Dong and Eugenes follow behind.

Just as the group stepped into the garden, a peculiarly-shaped individual suddenly erged from the dense vegetation.

A white vest, the whole body entwined with slender plant vines, a rose flower pinned on the chest.

Most distinct is his "head structure."

The neck and above entity head completely cut off, yet the soul of the head perfectly preserved... presented in a visible white mist form.

Various white tentacles writhe between his lips, occasionally protruding into the eye sockets and ear holes.

"Honorable guests, are you carrying a ’point stone’? If so, please hand it to

for authenticity verification.

Once verified successfully, as one of the gardeners of this garden, I will guide you to the grand entrance of the library."

"No."

"Without a point stone, things will be more troubleso.

Considering a ’yellow mark carrier’ among you, according to the library’s managent rules, you are allowed to undergo a ’special examination,’ please follow ."

The group’s gaze naturally falls on Han Dong, his right hand’s "Yellow Mark" faintly glowing.

On the way to the library entrance, Han Dong asked curiously:

"Excuse , have there been other visitors over these years besides us?"

"As an ordinary worker, my mory is reset once every month, so I can’t answer your question."

"Alright."

The vision ahead is just like a complex maze, with many similar gardeners working here.

If the library’s pre-set ’buffer zone’ can effectively reduce the entry of irrelevant personnel, prevent dangers from occurring early.

Han Dong thought internally: ’For it to drift for so long in shattered dinsions, overall, there have been little changes. Even if detached from the control of the Yellow Robe, the inside must hold a formidable presence.

Better be cautious. Though the exterior hasn’t changed much over the years, no one can say clearly what’s inside.’

Avoiding the labyrinth-like garden,

Following the sole long bridge to reach the crimson library door,

The guiding gardener cannot step here, only watching the group from the bridge’s entrance.

As Han Dong approached the door as the ssenger of the Yellow Robe, grasping the tal door knocker and forcefully knocking.

What opened was not the door, but the entire floor beneath the group.

The whole front door area instantly vanished, turning into an endless falling passage.

At this mont, the three exchanged looks, unified in thought.

Without any resistance, they plunged straight into it.
