Chapter 1563: Chapter 1561: The Giant in the Cave

‘Hidden Region – [Unknown Cavern] has been discovered, please explore this area to receive related rewards.’

Green’s interest was piqued as he stared into the abyssal darkness of the cavern, listening to the announcent from the System.

“Nicholas, is this mount of yours stronger than before? It can actually find a place like this just by scent, that’s impressive.”

Green used to think of the Bloodhound as one of Han Dong’s “parasite mounts,” released from the right arm at will, but now it seems that might not be the case.

For the first ti, his hole-covered palm landed on the Count’s head, stroking the dog’s head while sliding his hand towards the canine mane.

Faced with this intimate touch stemming from the First Elent.

The Count very straightforwardly expressed two extre emotions that shouldn’t appear simultaneously – [Fear] and [Pride].

Holding his proud dog head high, he tried his best to straighten his canine body,

using blood flow throughout his body to let his mane take on a flowing and handso style, making Green’s strokes feel even better… but unfortunately, his tail remained tucked between his legs, unable to lift no matter what.

“The Count himself is a unique Blood Descendant, during the Big Expedition, he accidentally severed the tether from the Blood Ancestor, becoming a completely independent blood life form that can’t be found even in the Demon circle.

Currently, he maintains contact with another world that worships blood, with massive potential.”

“Oh? So powerful!

What you say makes

want to try getting a Blood Descendant myself… but sothing as unique is probably just this one, right?

Looks like managing mounts improperly, I also need to properly cultivate a Yandaros Hound, instead of borrowing one freely whenever needed.

Of course, if I could directly ride that [Mh. Mumsissha] that would be the best.

Let’s go… let’s check it out below.”

After grooming the dog, Green turned toward the entrance, diving in with arms spread wide.

The Unknown Cavern reached a depth of over six hundred ters.

Green, with no preparations or slowing asures, free-fell the entire way… Bang! Upon impact, he tried to use his Abyssal constitution to cushion the fall damage.

Crack!

Even so.

The fall was so rapid, his legs were shattered, splintering pieces scattered around.

Though his upper body remained whole, his internal organs were sliding out from the wounds.

Green himself displayed a rather refreshed and spirited expression, as if the fall dispelled all travel fatigue.

The giant’s heart (four pieces) hanging at his waist was perfectly protected.

Before long.

The Bloodhound traversed the walls, carrying Han Dong and Sally down as well.

The cavern passage here also reached a height of over a hundred ters, likely ho to giants of corresponding size.

In view, a fork split into two paths, left and right… a strange scent lingered here, akin to a mix of faint raw at and rotten egg.

“Hey! Dog, which direction is the scent coming from?”

Faced with Green’s inquiry, the Count showcased 120% of his olfactory capability, answering solemnly:

“The scent cos from the right, no doubt about it!”

Han Dong chid in with certainty, “Then let’s follow the scent’s source, deal with the ‘inhabitant’ hidden in the cavern, and then return to explore the left side… maybe we’ll find sothing unexpected.”

At this stage, the Count could only maintain a two-ter body length, carrying two people was at the limit.

Just as everyone was prepared to advance along the right cavern passage, Green suddenly reached for the dog’s head.

“Sally, you get off, let

try this Bloodhound’s riding feel.”

“Ah~ Okay…”

Even though Sally was extrely unwilling, Green’s request was unavoidable.

Before Sally was fully off the dog, impatient Green squeezed her down… replacing her original position, snugly stuck behind Han Dong.

“Hmm! This riding feel is really nice~

The pure comfort and adherence provided by flesh are top-notch, unlike hunting hounds that prick… When I used to ride hounds, several sharp things would stab into my body.

Nicholas, when we return, can I borrow this Bloodhound for two days… I want to take it to the ‘Abyss Party’ for so fun!”

When the Count heard this, he was almost scared into secreting body fluids, quickly communicated internally:

‘Nicholas, don’t let Green take

away! Abyss Party, it’ll really kill people.’

“The Count and my consciousness were irrevocably bound at [Breaking Seed], unable to separate for long periods or distances.

How about this, I’ll probably visit the Center of Chaos too, then we’ll talk.”

“Oh! That’s even better! If you co along with , Nicholas, I’ll let you witness the most primal madness between the Abyss, you’ll definitely love it.”

“Okay…”

And so.

The two n rode the Bloodhound, one in front, one behind, galloping through the vast underground cavern.

Sally could only silently follow behind on Goat’s Hoof.

Though filled with jealousy, she could only quietly accept this reality… However, at this mont Sally was focused on sothing else.

Ever since entering the cavern, upon clearly slling the scent, she felt a faint homology.

Temporarily putting aside the picture of the two n riding, she was eager to see the true source of the scent.

Following the scent to the deepest part, upon seeing the ‘giant’ hidden here, she realized the aning behind the strange sll between stench and raw at.

“Wow! Such a large beast species!”

A hundred-ter level antelope lay slumped in the cave’s deepest part, described as ‘antelope’ only considering so features, such as its hoof structure and a hollow cut-open long horn.

As for itself, it had nurous characteristics unlike antelopes or other ungulates, like:

1. Constantly emitting black smoke, with strange runes shining on its goat’s horn,

2. Entirely lacking skin or flesh coverage, with a pure skeletal head… its eye sockets also emit black smoke, looking extrely evil.

3. The grey hair on its body was as sturdy as iron needles, even interspersed with so black-spotted mushrooms.

Clearly an aggressive and evil-aligned ‘giant,’ but was incapable of movent itself.

The body covered with iron-like hair was completely dissected, not healing but slowly evaporating and dissipating.

The key reason was that a wide-bladed sword emitting cold air pierced its gigantic heart surface…

One could even see several human-form corpses squeezed within its exposed stomach and intestines, one likely being the sword’s owner.

‘Side Story [Injured Giant Beast] has been triggered’

You discovered a hundred-ter level, dying rare giant beast at the Unknown Cavern’s depths, please make your choice:

1. Kill the moribund giant beast, landing the final blow on its heart surface (Note: The beast may fight back desperately at the brink of life and death.)

Reward: The damaged or completely destroyed “Giant Heart (Beast species, Hundred ter Level)” along with related corpse materials.

2. Use up a sufficient amount of giant hearts to heal the giant beast’s heart injuries (Note: The beast cannot recognize your intentions, may attack during healing.)

This option requires consuming at least three giant hearts, team mbers must master dical skills or blood control, to prevent beast heart failure and death upon weapon removal.

Reward: Gift from [Giant’s Bell Horn], while on following explorations, you will receive Bell Horn’s support.

Listening to the mission description, the second option clearly seed better… but Han Dong seed to think of an optimal plan.
