Chapter 33: I Won’t Beco an Undead Knight… Will I?

“Who are you?” Bai Moxue stared at Luo Sheng for a while, feeling a sense of familiarity. It was as if she knew him, yet he was a stranger – a very peculiar sensation.

“If you don’t run now, you’ll really beco the Ghost King’s concubine. You don’t want to be stabbed with needles, do you? The long, thick kind,” Luo Sheng said, seeing the ox-headed monsters and pale-faced ghosts beginning to catch up.

He gestured to demonstrate the size of the needles.

After all, with the Ghost King having such a large harem, he surely had characters like Rong Momo who would use needles as punishnt.

“You little brat, you’re asking for death!” The ox-headed monster grew extrely agitated upon seeing Luo Sheng approach the red bridal sedan.

These ghost guards were all high-level. Although Acoley’s explosive art was incredibly powerful and could severely injure them, it wasn’t fatal. Moreover, there were over a dozen different types of demons, monsters, and ghosts, each with unique and bizarre abilities. With their large numbers, Luo Sheng would have a hard ti dealing with them.

“Alright!” Bai Moxue, aware of the urgent situation, wrapped her pale arm around Luo Sheng’s neck and leaped over the red bridal sedan, landing directly on the back seat of Luo Sheng’s motorcycle.

“Hold on tight.” Feeling a cold sensation on his back, Luo Sheng’s bike wobbled slightly. He casually uttered these words before imdiately pushing the throttle to its limit.

Boom… Boom… Boom Boom!

A trendous roar erupted from the motorcycle’s exhaust, emitting blue fox-fire. The rear wheel dug several centiters into the ground before speeding off into the distance, leaving only taillights visible in an instant.

“Don’t let them escape!” The ox-headed monster roared upon witnessing this scene.

The other demons, monsters, and ghosts hurriedly gave chase, their speed not slow at all.

Many ghosts floated in midair, drifting directly towards them in hot pursuit.

The ox-headed monster mounted a skeletal cheetah, its speed equally astonishing, creating a rather bizarre spectacle.

Bai Moxue, holding onto Luo Sheng’s waist and facing the strong wind, saw the ghosts catching up in the rearview mirror.

Her arms tightened involuntarily as she nervously said, “They’re about to catch up!”

“Don’t worry, if I could crash a wedding, I certainly have a way to get you out of here,” Luo Sheng confidently replied.

After all, Bai Moxue was his card girl. How could he easily let so old fogey have his way with her?

Click.

He casually opened a hidden compartnt under the motorcycle’s fuel tank, which contained various categorized grenades and landmines. He tossed a large number of petal-shaped landmines towards the rear of the bike.

In the next second, a series of explosions erupted behind them, one after another.

Many demons, monsters, and ghosts stepped on the landmines and burst into flas. Instantly, fire blazed skyward, shockwaves spread in all directions, deafening to the ears.

Monts later, the speed of these demons, monsters, and ghosts significantly decreased.

“Damn it! If you’ve got the guts, let’s fight one-on-one!” The ox-headed monster’s horn was even blasted crooked, and he cursed in anger.

The strange tal contraption the young man in front of him rode on, along with his bag of dirty tricks, was too much. Even the skeletal cheetah mount had lost a leg to the explosion.

It left him in a sorry state. As a general of the Ghost King, he had never been so pathetic before. It was absolutely infuriating.

The ox-headed monster wished he could tear Luo Sheng to pieces.

He wanted to subject him to the five horses’ dismbernt, then throw him into the endless purgatory, up the mountain of knives and down the sea of fire, roll him in a vat of boiling oil before finally devouring him.

Crunch!

While he was cursing and swearing,

Luo Sheng sneered and said, “Sir, eat shit!”

He casually tossed out a large number of grenades. In an instant, there was another round of dazzling flas, earth-shattering explosions, and the demons, monsters, and ghosts screaming incessantly.

In the end, everyone could only helplessly watch as the two figures broke through the black forest, passed through the ghostly gate of the netherworld, and directly entered the world of the living.

The east was turning white, the sky and water rging into one color.

The ox-headed monster stood at the ghostly gate, watching the two gradually disappear into the distance.

Gnashing his teeth, he said, “Hmph! Just you wait. When night falls, don’t let this old man find you, or I’ll surely swallow you alive!”

After escaping the netherworld and avoiding the pure love little warriors, Luo Sheng brought Bai Moxue to a secluded human town far from the ghostly gate.

Just as they arrived at an inn, he noticed that Bai Moxue was extrely weak, her body becoming semi-transparent, and her head dizzy.

“Oh no, I forgot you’re a ghost. I’ve been driving around with you in broad daylight.”

“…”

Bai Moxue gave him a resentful look, thinking how there could be such a careless man.

However, this was also her first ti being a ghost, and there were many things she didn’t understand either.

Luo Sheng carried her into a dim room, where she regained so energy, but her face remained pale, only now with a touch of allure.

“Um… are you alright? Is there anything I can do to help?” Seeing her weakened state, Luo Sheng asked guiltily.

He hadn’t expected to ss up the card world for the first ti like this.

Perhaps he had gotten too carried away with the thrill of riding the motorcycle and accidentally forgotten about his passenger.

Probably, if she were to leave the card now, Bai Moxue might beco a damaged card, maybe even cracked, leading to card damage. That would break his heart.

But then he saw Bai Moxue remove the golden hairpin and phoenix head ornant from her hair, letting her ink-black beautiful hair cascade down her back.

Under the bright red phoenix-patterned bridal gown, a pair of fair jade feet hooked onto Luo Sheng.

“Wait, what are you trying to do? I’m not that kind of person,” Luo Sheng felt the cold and soft touch, his movents becoming a bit stiff. He added, “Did the sun fry your brain or sothing?”

“This young woman is already weakened. Don’t you want to save , my benefactor?” Bai Moxue tilted her head, looking at him with misty eyes.

“What kind of saving is this? This is clearly seduction! I won’t beco an undead knight.” Luo Sheng was completely baffled.

How strange. When he hadn’t entered the card world, Bai Moxue had been willing to die to protect her chastity, even ready to perish together with the Ghost King.

Now she was presenting a completely different image, shy and coy, soft and boneless.

Could it be that he was emitting so indescribable charm?

That seed unlikely.

Although Luo Sheng was confident in his handso appearance, the current situation clearly couldn’t be explained by his dashing and graceful deanor.

Nor could it be concluded as repaying a droplet of kindness with a spring of gratitude.

“Undead knight? Hmm~ Interesting title… Didn’t you crash the wedding to obtain this young woman, my lord? Otherwise, why would you risk offending the Ghost King and take

away?” Bai Moxue kept moving closer.

Her voice carried a hint of doubt as she blinked her curved phoenix eyes, gazing at him seductively.

Luo Sheng watched as the red lips drew nearer, along with the faint fragrance of a young woman, and he began to lose his composure…
