Chapter 156: The Gentleman and the Beast – Luo Sheng
Moss Haddis looked down from the window as an exquisite carriage slowly drove up to the base of the castle.
His smile grew even brighter, with a hint of disgust and desire.
He had been lusting after Acoley for a long ti, especially as she beca more unrestrained and intense. Moss Haddis liked her even more, feeling a strong urge to conquer her. This thrill was sothing he couldn’t experience with other won.
As his desire grew stronger, he impatiently used the church orphanage as leverage to make her attend this banquet.
Moss Haddis was very much looking forward to it. The feeling of Acoley, a wild horse, struggling to beco his wife should be quite exciting.
“I hope you won’t disappoint . I’ve even prepared the torture devices, hehe…” Moss Haddis picked up a glass filled with wine as red as the blood moon and took small sips.
Behind him, on a large red bed, lay a woman covered in bruises. Her expression was blank, as if she had endured inhuman torture. Saliva dripped uncontrollably from the corner of her mouth.
Her tears had long since dried up, and her entire body felt weak. This was a young woman, but she didn’t seem to be of much higher status than Acoley.
Moss Haddis glanced at the naked woman lying on the bed.
“Guards, co and take her away,” he called out coldly.
Several soldiers then entered, and upon seeing the woman in such a miserable state, they rely raised their eyebrows slightly. They lifted her with practiced ease and carried her to another location.
These guards were accustod to this. Their Count regularly indulged in pleasure-seeking, often hurting common won for his own excitent.
Under the bed were long whips and torture devices used for interrogating criminals.
The guards pretended not to see and left the room, leaving only Moss Haddis standing by the window, quietly watching the carriage.
Then, Acoley, dressed in a glamorous magical outfit, slowly descended from the carriage. She stepped out in high heels, her noble aura making people unable to help but turn and look.
Even Moss Haddis, standing upstairs, couldn’t help but swallow when he saw this beautiful sight.
The freshness and excitent in his heart were unbearable, and he wanted to bring her to his room imdiately.
“Indeed, she’s a beautiful magician. It’s too exciting. I wonder how long she can last.” Moss Haddis gulped down the red wine until he realized the glass was empty.
His face, full of fat, could no longer contain his excitent.
However, just as Acoley had gotten down, she was seen turning back towards the carriage, extending her hand to assist a gentleman.
“Hm? What’s going on?” Moss Haddis was stunned for a mont when he saw this scene.
Because Luo Sheng was slowly walking down, holding Acoley’s soft white hand. In his other hand, he held a cane. This shiny black cane used to belong to the butler, but now it was being used by Luo Sheng.
Compared to Moss Haddis, Luo Sheng looked like a true gentleman.
He and Acoley walked hand in hand into the castle, as if returning to their own ho, leisurely and at ease.
The surrounding guards seed to notice the situation. They knew that their Count had only invited the young female magician, not a gentleman. They imdiately drew their swords.
“Who are you?!” the guard captain questioned sternly.
Luo Sheng casually put on a black hat and said nonchalantly, “I’m invited by your Count. Or, if I’m not welco, we can leave.”
“The lady next to you can stay, but you must leave!” the guard captain said imposingly.
Luo Sheng just smiled, “No, this lady is my wife. What you’re doing is very discourteous and impolite, isn’t it?”
“You have no right to refuse!” The guard captain, still relying on the power behind him, said arrogantly.
Then Luo Sheng snapped his fingers, and suddenly the guards who had co with the carriage seed to be controlled by soone. They raised their swords and began attacking the guard captain.
“Are you rebelling?!” The guard captain was shocked, clearly having never seen such a scene before.
But no matter how much they shouted, the guards from the carriage were already out of control, attacking them like cheetahs spotting prey. Their swords swung fiercely.
Several castle guards were killed by their own comrades before they could even react.
Seeing this scene, the guard captain shouted loudly, “You bunch of bastards, you’ve fallen under their sorcery!”
He raised his sword and easily knocked down those out-of-control guards, then turned to look at Luo Sheng and Acoley standing in the middle of the corpses.
“Now there’s no one to help you. I advise you to put down your weapons, otherwise…” The guard captain was originally confident. His swordsmanship was unparalleled in the world, and dealing with magicians in close combat was easy for him.
Even if the opponent had the ability to control guards, he didn’t care.
However, he saw a wild boar general suddenly appear behind Luo Sheng, which made him frown.
Luo Sheng smiled and said, “Your opponent is not , but it. Co tell
after you’ve defeated it.”
Luo Sheng slowly walked towards the castle with Acoley.
The guard captain wanted to stop them, but suddenly, a giant axe ca swinging at him with a whooshing sound. The guard captain broke out in a cold sweat and used all his strength to block it.
Bang!!!
There was a loud tallic clash, and the guard captain’s hands went numb from the impact. The enormous force nearly sent him flying. Even though he managed to withstand it, he was still pushed back several steps, almost being pinned against the wall.
A huge gust of wind directly knocked over the surrounding guards.
The wild boar general let out a roar, as if it had t a worthy opponent. This made it very excited, and it continued to swing its giant axe wildly.
At this mont, the guard captain’s heart was in turmoil, especially shocked by Luo Sheng’s ability to summon such a monster.
“Let’s go, Lady Acoley. Let’s see how the banquet is going,” Luo Sheng said gently, like a gentleman.
“Mm-hmm,” Acoley nodded.
The two of them crossed the large threshold and entered the castle.
Red banquet carpets, exquisite silver lanterns all around, flowers everywhere, and huge murals hanging on the snow-white walls.
Although the Count’s mansion had a dissolute count, it was undeniable that the taste here was quite good. At least the castle was pleasing to the eye.
At this ti, the guard captain was powerless to stop Luo Sheng and Acoley, as he was being beaten black and blue by the wild boar general.
He was struggling to hold on.
At this mont.
On the second-floor railing of the castle hall, a middle-aged magician said in a hoarse voice, “Kid, this is not a place where you can act recklessly!”
Then he raised his wand, and several ice spikes flew towards Luo Sheng.
Luo Sheng brought out 【Magic Invalid】, and all the magic of this middle-aged magician instantly disappeared. “Hm? How did you do that?”
The middle-aged magician was shocked by Luo Sheng’s action just now. Being able to invalidate magic was almost the nesis of magicians.
“You can talk after you beat him,” Luo Sheng pointed at the Death God ssenger that appeared behind him again.
A skeleton wearing a black robe and holding a sharp scythe slowly floated over, then attacked the middle-aged magician. The two began fighting.
Seeing living beings, the Death God ssenger burst out with powerful combat ability. Its scythe elegantly harvested him. The middle-aged magician was covered in sweat, constantly using fire and ice spikes, but to little effect. Instead, he was being chased around.
Several guards who ca to help didn’t even get to touch the Death God ssenger before being burned into skeletons by its black flas.
This made the middle-aged magician even more terrified.
Battles were happening both inside and outside the castle. The wild boar general blocked a group of guards trying to co in, and had chopped the guard captain into a pulp.
Inside the castle, while the magician and Death God ssenger were engaged in a life-and-death battle.
A voice also ca through.
“Kid, don’t be too arrogant. We are Holy Knights from the West Point Academy! This is Haddis Castle.” Two n wearing knight armor walked out of a room in the castle.
They could see that Luo Sheng wanted to challenge the entire castle with his own strength.
This was sothing they couldn’t tolerate. A commoner daring to challenge nobles was simply overstepping!
At this ti, Moss Haddis stood in the distance, watching the battle in the hall with furrowed brows. Finally, he placed his hope on those two knight captains. They were Holy Knights with imnsely powerful strength.
Luo Sheng turned his head to look at the two Holy Knights.
A smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, “Holy Knights aiding evil? How interesting!”
